ModeratorLooks like this is definitely Robin Hood centric, according to this tweet between Kalinda Vazquez and Scott Nimerfro
.@ScottNimerfro very excited for your upcoming episode sir. Going to be an outlaw of a good time š

This makes sense, given the behind the scenes pics of Robin and his family in NYC recently.

ModeratorGAH we really need S2. Would they really have left things THIS open ended if they didnāt already have at least a handshake agreement for a S2? I feel like theyād have shot alternate endings and had either one ready to go to air, depending on if they were likely to come back or not? I mean, it seems insane to leave off where they did if they didnāt think theyād get to continue the story?
Sadly, TV shows being cancelled on a cliffhanger isn’t something new: http://underscoopfire.com/worst-cliffhangers-left-by-cancelled-shows/
ABC probably doesn’t care about it being unresolved if the ratings weren’t up to their expectations, though who knows how high those expectations really were. Surely they knew what they were getting into airing the show in only 4 weeks with half of those weeks against a major awards show and the 2nd biggest night of Football in the year. The show did at least joke about the possibility of not getting renewed with the lyrics “or will all the singing kill our Nielsen ratings?” I will say that thanks to the enthusiastic Galavant actors and the Galavant fanbase, #RenewGalavant did trend on Twitter last night, if that helps at all. Oh and guys, I seriously suggest buying the soundtrack on iTunes if you can. If the music at least sells well, that could give ABC an incentive to give the show another chance. Regardless, Galavant was a fun ride, and I’m still glad I watched it no matter what happens.

ModeratorOverall, loved Galavant til the end of the Season. Highlights tonight were seeing Anthony Stewart Head as Galavant’s father in a flashback, Galavant and Richard’s bromance (especially when they got drunk), Galabella finally kissing, and Gareth had some fun moments. What’s disappointing to me is how the series ended with too much unresolved. I get the desire to leave things open for a Season 2, but it’s a risk when you don’t know you’re going to be renewed. Unfortunately when all 8 episodes were already produced before the series even premiered, there wasn’t time to change the ending. Fingers crossed a Season 2 miraculously happens.

ModeratorHmm, interesting. Thatās not what I expected. With a picture of Hook, I thought it would give us more flashbacks to his time as a pirate. But more Killian Jones backstory before all that is awesome too. Good form even

Actually, I think this is set before the events of the Crocodile but after Good Form. Might even be before Milah.
Agreed. He wasn’t officially “Captain Hook” until he left for Neverland.

ModeratorHe could be the author. A peddler is someone who travels from place to place selling goods. What better person to collect tales than someone who travels extensively. You canāt write about the goings-on throughout many kingdoms if youāre sitting in a village hovel or a castle tower. You need to be out collecting tales or witnessing it firsthand. A peddler moving around all the time would be a perfect cover.
Not that a peddler hasn’t served as the storyteller for a Disney film, either. The most obvious example is the peddler from Aladdin, who opens up the film. There’s also Clopin, King of the Gypsies, from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, who serves a similar role.
