Question: Can I get some more scoop about the most recent Blind Item? Pretty please with Smurfs on top! —Kyle
Ausiello: It’s not Scandal. Or any ABC series for that matter. It’s also not Jess on New Girl. That rules out OUAT from this blind item, though that’s not to say a pregnancy still can’t happen this Season.

Moderator4 episodes in, and I’m still having a lot of fun with this show. Episode 3 was ok, but might be the weakest episode so far. The plot just wasn’t as compelling, nor were the songs as good. The Jewish humor with Sid’s adoptive parents felt a little flat, especially their “Oy! What a Knight” number. A better use of that type of humor is Spamalot’s “You Won’t Succeed On Broadway If You Don’t Have Any Jews.” Episode 4 was definitely the stronger half of the hour. “Togetherness” is a cute and catchy number. Hugh Bonneville as the Pirate captain was a riot, and I totally dug his crew’s “Lords of the Sea” pirate shanty. I definitely felt some inspiration from the classic Gilbert and Sullivan musical “The Pirates of Penzance.” I’m continuing to love King Richard, while also growing more and more appreciation for the Jester. I felt bad for the Jester when Madalena imprisoned him for refusing to continue sleeping with her.

ModeratorI have my doubts it’ll get made in time for 2016. There’s been talk of a Wicked movie since back around when it premiered on Broadway over 10 years ago, and here we are still waiting. Look how long it took for Les Miserables and Into the Woods to get their film adaptations, and those were in the works for a long time too. Besides, for it to release in 2016, they would likely have to film sometime this year, and when they say they aren’t in a rush, that gives me doubt that they’ll manage to do so. One reason it’s been taking so long is because ticket sales are still very strong, so there’s that fear of cannibalizing those sales if a movie were to be made.

ModeratorIt’s notable that they mention exploring the Sleeping Beauty lore yet have not confirmed whether or not Sarah Bolger will be back as Aurora, since she did sign on for a series regular role on another series. If they do all this and can’t bring her back, that’ll be frustrating.
I thought a few articles already confirmed that Sarah will return?
Edit: Looks like I was right:
On set. So cold. Now I have to get into some thermals and one beautiful gown… Wonder what for?? ;-)) http://t.co/eR6FcVJWlC

ModeratorLyrics video for an upcoming song. Can’t say the name of it here:

ModeratorSomething I noticed. One of the original trailers had alternate lyrics for the Madalena scene that were more sexually suggestive. I guess it was too direct for the Mouse House’s liking?
The man we’re speaking of,
He had a lady love,
A total goddess known as Madalena.
Long legs and perfect skin,
A body built for sin,
Plus more than just a touch of nymphomania.Ah, romance could hardly get much hotter.
All day long, he’d you-know-what her!
Then
They’d you-know-what again,
Three times or even ten,
And she’d be screaming…
Gaaaaaa-laaaaaa-VA—!This was changed to:
The man we’re speaking of,
He had a lady love,
And Madalena, she was one fair maiden.
Long legs and perfect skin,
A body built for sin,
With cleavage you could hold a whole parade in!Ah, true love was never this ecstatic,
Nor as nearly acrobatic!
Yes!
He loved her to excess,
Thrice daily more or less,
And she’d be screaming…
Gaaaaaa-laaaaaa-VA—!MatthewPaul
ModeratorEdit: The previous 2.3 demo number was only from the Top 25 Markets. The actual total demo numbers are a 2.1 for episode 1, and a 1.9 for episode 2. Still did pretty ok.
