ModeratorSo when we will have news about ratings and reviews?
I’m rooting for Galabella.
Yes! GalaBella FTW!…..Although, I wouldn’t be surprised if they completely subvert and have the king end up with Isabella and galavant and mada-whats-her-face get back together in the end. but as it stands now, I am shipping GalaBella
Reviews have already been posted this week, as critics have had early access to the first 6 episodes. So far the response is mixed. Ratings for tonight’s episodes will be up around tomorrow afternoon. Normally between 11am-noon.

Yeah, definitely looks like they’re setting it up that way, along with Richard and Madalena actually slowly falling for each other.

ModeratorSo far, so good. I felt the premiere was a little slow, but overall I’m getting enough enjoyment out of it. It’s the type of show you can’t take seriously, so you just have fun with it. I like each of the main cast members, too. Galavant, Madalena, King Richard, Gareth, Isabella, and Sid are all fun in their own ways. The songs are also really catchy.

ModeratorYeah, I’ve got the screeners off ABC medianet because I write for Spoilertv. A lot of what I saw wasn’t completed past the second episode (lots of green screen and ADR needed doing) but it was still very, very good. The trailer was sort of misleading about one thing though – you’ll know what I’m talking about when you see the episode for yourselves.
I’m guessing you also had episodes where the songs didn’t have their finalized orchestrated accompaniment? Meaning songs where the temporary demo piano accompaniment was still there. I know the Making of Special available online had clips like that, as were the clips shown at the Galavant press event last month.
Also, if you don’t mind me asking, which episode was “Maybe You’re Not the Worst Thing Ever” featured in? I know the intro song and “She’ll Be Mine” are obviously from the Pilot.

ModeratorI just binge watched the first 6 episodes. It’s SOOOOO much better than I was personally expecting. Although now I’m a little devastated that I have to wait until the final two episodes air to see how it ends!
You must have ABC Medianet access somehow. But yeah, can’t wait for the premiere tomorrow night!

Moderator4.) Cora. She reminds me of one of those moms who always enter their daughters into child beauty pagaents even though its clear that’s not what the daughter wants.
Cora reminds me of Mama Rose from Gypsy and Joan Crawford from Mommie Dearest.

ModeratorQuestion that I’m actually looking for the answer to because I don’t know: Someone mentioned on chat the other day that 3 OUAT cast members have appeared in Marvel movies, who are the 3 cast members?
Josh Dallas and Sebastian Stan are two of them, who is the third?
Yep, DO and I were talking about that. We both just saw Cap 2 for the first time, and Alan Dale was there, on the world security council.

SFG
And here’s something you would know. While Agents of SHIELD isn’t a movie, it is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So it should be worth noting that Amy Acker (Nova/Astrid) appears in an episode as the Cellist, Coulson’s former lover.
I found another one! I was re-watching two SHIELD episodes, and Brad Dourif was in one!
So that’s five actors who have been in both!

SFG
Also, Rebecca Mader was apparently in Iron Man 3 as a sweat shop agent so that now makes 6!
Re-watching Season 1 of AoS, I also remembered that Tzi Ma (The Dragon) was in episode 5, “Girl in the Flower Dress.”

ModeratorOne simple reason: Double-standards. We don’t like to talk about it, but it’s definitely implied.
Quoted for the truth. It really depends on each person’s favorite characters. For example, a fan of Rumple is going to be a lot more apologetic and defensive about his actions, while not being so sympathetic when other certain characters do harmful deeds. Especially if those actions are targeted against Rumple. Really, you can’t make it a fact that Rumple is less evil than Regina or Hook, or vice versa. Each one has committed villainous actions on the show, and it all comes down to which one you have a personal attachment too. So arguing which one is more justified in their actions will just go in circles.
