That could be interesting. Maybe the Dark One Curse was created as a means to confine Chernabog, because he couldn’t be killed, (dark needs to exist to balance out light), so they contained him in a controllable flesh suit as the next best option.
That’s one thing that might make Rumple still redeemable for me, if they play up that it’s not really HIM we’ve been seeing, but rather the Dark One growing so strong that he’s completely overtaken the actual human Rumple, who is curled up sobbing in some quiet corner of his mind while all this crap has been going down. Though, that wouldn’t really fit with his pained expression when Belle was apologising to him
Were you reading the chatroom, because I was seriously discussing a very similar theory. However, rather than Chernabog fully possessing Rumple, he more so feeds off of Rumple’s desires the way the Devil traditionally does. Rumple does want to free himself from the dagger, but Chernabog’s influence is convincing him to take extreme measures. Chernabog being a Satanic figure fits too. Also, Rumple wouldn’t know Chernabog’s plans, nor that he even exists as an essence within him. What the Apprentice said about every Dark One specifically trying to steal the hat would also support this theory.

Plus, Hook outran the curse via the ocean. Would make sense if the person he made a deal with was out in the water, rather than back on land.
Since this is related, I have a hunch concerning which of the regulars Ursula has a past with. I mean yeah we’ve seen she knows Regina, and likely she knew Rumple too. However, there is somebody else that comes to mind. That person is Hook. Considering Hook has a seafaring past, it would make sense if he and Ursula ever interacted before in the past, and I recall that Adam and Eddy have expressed that we could see more Hook flashbacks during the 2nd half of the Season.

What OUAT did better
– Snow doesn’t have a grating high pitched voice. She’s also a lot more independent, stronger, and can fend for herself. OUAT has Bandit Snow.
– Charming is an actual developed character.
– The Evil Queen/Regina doesn’t hate Snow out of vanity and envy. She instead blames Snow for the death of Daniel.
– Graham.Inbetween
– I love both versions of Grumpy.What Disney did better
– It’s the first full length animated Disney feature, so it deserves credit.
– The songs. Heigh Ho, Whistle While You Work, and Someday My Prince Will Come are classics.
– The slapstick with the dwarfs, especially Dopey.
– The amazing sequence of the Evil Queen transforming into the old peddler woman.I think who “wrote” the book might be what’s misleading, and it’ll turn out to be more so who “created” the book. The book could write itself, but there would still be someone who was responsible for it existing in the first place.
Me and RG have decided to re-open the thread, but we have to lay down some new ground rules. For this thread to remain active, I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask Wicked Regal or any other possible Outlaw Queen shipper to NOT defend Outlaw Queen in this thread. This thread is for those who don’t agree with the ship to be able to vent in peace. There’s plenty of ant-Captain Swan venting in the Swan Fire thread, and there’s plenty of anti-Swan Fire venting in the Captain Swan thread, so it’s not like Outlaw Queen is singled out when it comes to ship bashing. Since this is technically a shipping thread, the same rule as other shipping threads apply here: if you enter a shipping thread, then be prepared to read things that you may not like being said against your ship. Shipping debates just get ugly, as we had to banish the CaptainSwanFire thread to the dark abyss. Therefore, you have all been warned. If I see any shipping debates in this thread, I will have to step in and break it up.

First I heard of this. Any idea what the dialogue was? Also, I would guess this interview was probably done weeks ago possibly before they filmed Hook getting his heart back, if this is the case. Leanne Aguilera might have been in Vancouver around the same time Natalie Abrams was.
Alright, folks. I’m closing this thread for the time being. It might re-open at some point, but with possible new guidelines. But the way it stands now, progress is not being made if both sides keep arguing about the ethics of Outlaw Queen. What started out as a thread to vent against the ship has turned into a general shipping debate.
