I believe that just as Rumpel says “All magic comes with a price”.
It really comes down to the theory that there’s always a counterpart to everything. There’s always two sides to things. You can use Yin and Yang as an explanation or actio and reactio. You can even use the physics fact that energy isn’t lost, but only transformed into something else (e.g. warmth).
If you have or do one thing it will always have an effect. It can be small, very hard to detect and easy to overlook, or it can be rather large and not always good.
If you think about the fact that magic enables you to get things that may have been out of your reach otherwise, it seems plausible that there’s always a price to pay according to what you’ve gained. Magic, in my believe is like energy. It isn’t created of nothing. It’s power comes from somewhere, may it be losing your husband (Thomas), losing your freedom (Genie) or missing to see your daughter grow up (Snow&James, I believe that is the payment for using the magic tree.). There’s always a price, no matter where the magic comes from, because essentially it is all the same, just used differently.I hope my thoughts are understandable. If not, just ask. 😀

Regina probably told the guard/huntsman to go with her and Snow didn’t object so as not to raise attention (and because she wasn’t sure it meant anything. She knew that the EQ wanted her dead. She tells the huntsman that the EQ picked him.).
miaParticipantFavourite Moments:
1. MM and Leroy going from door to door. I totally agree with rumplegoldfrankristi, their faces were hilarious!
2. Emma walking David to the police car. Everyone turning their heads towards them and MM looking aghast. Of course, not so good for the characters, but it was a cool scene.Least favourite:
Sidney giving Emma the phone records. Didn’t like him before and now that we know that he works for Regina, even less. =/miaParticipantI know. ^^ I’m pretty sure most people already knew, anyway. But for future reference. 🙂
miaParticipantYes, there’s definitely some background there. It may have something to do with his son or some deal. Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll go into it this season.
miaParticipantFor all who missed it and can’t watch it on Hulu, here’s the YouTube video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Osz9gYccX7QMy favourite part was definitely the British grandma thanking Josh for making her granddaughter ovecome Justin Bieber. xD
miaParticipantThey mentioned it at the PaleyFest and it was a theory I had been thinking about, too. August could be a future Henry. Then again, I think the way he treats Emma wouldn’t make much sense then. 😉 And I so hope they’re not putting time travelling into the show …
miaParticipantGod, that was funny!! And now we know the answer to the aging thing!
miaParticipantThat’s actually an interesting thought. I always thought the evil fairies would be some other fairies, that fairy godmothers could not be evil, because they exist to help others. But maybe some of them do turn evil?
Evil fairies … Reminds me of Cornelia Funke’s book Reckless (children/YA book with the Grimm Brothers and their tales as basis. Nice read, though not her best work.).miaParticipantWelcome to the forum Darcy!
I think Skin Deep is the fave episode of many many people. 🙂 We’ll see some more Belle tonight.
Enjoy the discussions and hope you’ll join them. -
