They may not have Hook try to kill Peter Pan. If Neal is in fact NealFire Pan, it’s possible that Hook and he had a good relationship not the one we know from film and books. The feud between Hook and Pan could be very recent. You could theorize (and some are) that Hook was a kind of father figure to Bae who he knew as Peter Pan in Neverland. When Bae (or Hook) finally found out the identity of the other (that Peter is really Milah and Rumple’s son or that Hook is really the pirate Milah ran off with) that could lead to complications in their relationship. Right now, all we now is that Bae and Hook know each other, but we know nothing about their relationship. It would be a major blow to Rumple to learn that the man who keeps trying to kill him raised and cared for his son.
Agreed on all counts! All we know right now is very very limited until we see Neverland. They’ve turned other stories on their heads so goodness knows what they’ll do with the Hook – Peter relationship. Was it always bad? Were they once friends?
In Tallahassee Hook spoke with an almost fondness of the Lost Boys. Curious to see how that all plays out. Was he once one himself, then left, grew up, and returned after Milah’s death? So many questions but there was definitely a softness with which he referenced them. Very un-traditional Hook-like. So excited to see that play out eventually (it better be sooner as opposed to later!)

I have to say, Bae certainly acted like Peter Pan this last episode. Comfortable with a sword, not even remotely afraid of Cora and Regina, and even showing a little cockiness. It’s certainly the way that I view Peter Pan from the movies and cartoons I’ve seen him in. His personality fits
Indeed! I hope Hook is the one who taught him how to swashbuckle. Boat driving lessons in the morning, and swordfighting with a cutlass class after lunch.
THAT would be amazing! Please let this happen. I really really want to see the softer side of Hook that we got a hint of with his mentioning the Lost Boys in Tallahassee. If this isn’t it then he better have once been a Lost Boy himself (which I could also see) in which case it would explain how he knew what land to travel to in order to get enough time to plot his revenge. Either road leads to…epicness in Neverland!
Anybody remember if young Bae did anything with swords? I know he was perfectly fine with going off to fight but I can’t remember if ever saw him with a sword. Even if he did I would hazard a guess he honed those skills in Neverland possibly from Hook. As for the boat driving it could have been to escape from Hook like in the movie when the ship flies but in that case how did Hook get it back? It would make much more sense that he at some point was fond of him and taught him to do at least that…unless Peter just sails the pirate ship around Neverland for a bit for the heck of it. Would love to see Hook teaching him to do all of those things though!

MysteryKat25ParticipantCrazy thing I just noticed. There’s a huge parallel between what happened in QoH and The Miller’s Daughter.
Regina attempted to basically kill Snow & Emma at the well and then undid it at the last second to appease Henry. How weird is it that Snow essentially did the same thing to Cora in this episode but actually succeeded? (or failed at arriving in time to undo it, whichever you prefer)
What are the odds that Regina would do the right thing and Snow the wrong thing in a similar circumstance? And what does that mean for their future interactions?
The fact that Snow has now essentially “given into her dark side” I think she needs to sit down with Archie pronto or she’s gonna lose it. She’s surrounded by people who love her and they’re full of good / true love magic but she just created an even darker evil queen who has more ammo to throw at her. I fully expect it to be more than just “showing up to a party full of hypocrites” and “you killed my mother” stuff (especially since the mother-killing goes both ways for Snow & Regina. This just got more complicated. When the EQ actually does have something legit to throw back in Snow’s face essentially saying “I was in a similar situation and even I did the right thing, so much for you being as white as snow.”

MysteryKat25ParticipantMy guess is they really wanted Josh Holloway and it was cheaper to let ABC in on the profits rather than buy out his contract (again, just speculation) and if that’s the case then it makes it a partial ABC show which gives them the chance to bring in Meghan as well (but she can still pop into OUAT a bunch hopefully, especially for the random little scenes she usually does). I wonder if the new show will film in Vancouver? (Maybe after it’s picked up if it is…cause that would make it even easier for her to stop by and Vancouver is quickly becoming the go-to place to film…) Still seems weird but I guess not entirely out of the realm of possibility. I can’t blame them for wanting Josh 😉

MysteryKat25ParticipantJust realized I put whistle in there twice which totally ruined the metaphor.
Pretend it says that I was starting to think the Huntsman’s whistle is the equivalent of Shannon’s inhaler (Lost reference) but am so glad it doesn’t sound like it will be!

MysteryKat25ParticipantLol Phee – understandable; and while it may have been said in response to a specific thing it is one of my general mottos for this show. Nothing is set in stone until we see it and even then nothing says that just because 1 thing is right that something else may not be right too (unless they are in absolute 100% direct conflict with each other of course).
Theorizing is half the fun around here and this show is still about hope…right?

MysteryKat25ParticipantI’m still bothered by the names. Flynn? Owen means Eugene? And these are just outsiders? That seems weird.
Oooh I never thought about the Ben and Owen thing…it’s kinda like Auntie Em & Uncle Henry maybe. Ok I feel a *tiny* bit better now.
Either way definitely looking forward to seeing this ep.

I made this one 😀
What a fantastic collection of clips you used! Fits perfectly and I love being reminded of some of those scenes. RumBelle grows on me more and more each day (loved them since Skin Deep but still). Nicely done!

MysteryKat25ParticipantI added the tea… 😛 but yes definitely the tea. Poor Chip! (Thank goodness he threw in that line about it only being a cup, nice little in for the audience to know ok, definitely not a person since we just saw him turn Gaston into a rose and get his legs chopped off by Belle lol)

MysteryKat25ParticipantOh I think we’ll see him eventually. If this is just the first week then we’ll have to flashback to SB again at some point to get the Henry arrival story. Wow that is a lot of characters….if anybody can handle it, it’s RC. Rumple had centuries to change and adapt to many different circumstances / situations and he treats people the way he has to in order to get them to do what he wants which involves a lot of different personalities as well. Crazy but oh so good.
