ParticipantHow does Hook find Bae’s apartment?? Do Emma, Rumple, or Henry leave at a certain point and he stalks them?? There are some plot holes in this part of the promo that I hope get filled in during the episode cause if they don’t it’s going to be very disjointed.
All very good questions. I’m still trying to figure out when Hook put on a black gloved hand attachment in Manhattan. He just had a stump before that and he’s still complaining about his hook being gone.

ParticipantIt’s an interesting thought for sure. Both boys led him in a way to Bae. On rewatch of Manhattan, Rumple even sorta thanks Henry and acknowledges that he put all of this in motion by bringing Emma to SB so I have a feeling he will at least channel it to Henry even if it was meant to be somebody else (like Pinocchio).
The whole prophecy thing kinda reminds me of Harry Potter – ironically there were 2 options for that one as well and he chose one making things go the way they did (trying to be vague). We’ll see if Rumple goes the self-fulfilling route (again) or if he’s learned anything. I don’t want anything to happen to Henry, and Bae would really never forgive him if it did so here’s hoping.

ParticipantIn 2×14 Manhattan – the #23 is hanging down above the bar (not as cool as the route sign in season 1 with 23 going 1 way and 4 going the other but still a nice little number nod from Lost)

ParticipantTossing my hat in for the OUAT Cookbook. Still trying to think of something else to be keeper of but nothing just right comes to mind yet.

ParticipantShe seemed to be very much in love with him and was concerned about him going off to fight. I think what happened after that was everybody she knew kept telling her what a coward he was and that he went to extremes (injuring himself) to get out of what he got himself into to come home. She really seemed to hate the coward thing and just refused to accept that he listened to the seer and thought he was actually doing her a favor.
What I really hated was that not only was she upset about the town berating her husband to her but the fact that she really wishes he had died rather than come home in that way. If he had just been randomly injured it may have been different but it probably scared her a bit that he went to that extent to injure himself to get out of it and nobody is letting her live it down either.
Basically she was great for a few seconds and they did seem like they were in love. He was so happy to have found a way to make them more money and have the family they dreamed of that it made it all the sadder what he went through to try and come home (even if the seer was very misleading and caused all these problems) and Milah just couldn’t be happy to have him back. She seemed so disgusted when she handed him his son and walked off. She’s horrible now.
Who knows what she was like as a pirate but I’m kinda disgusted either Rumple or Hook ever loved her now that we know how rotten she is – I love both guys but their taste in women took 300 years to improve.

ParticipantGlad to see one of my favorite theories is at least 50% accurate! Rumple occasionally referred to Bae as a “lost boy” and there were just WAY too many clues pointing to Neverland to be a mistake (the most important of which was the non-aging thing).
Still hoping for Nealfire Pan but could see it going either way. Now the question remains as to his relationship with Hook, what he does and doesn’t know about him / his mother, and whose side he’s on now in the Rumple vs. Hook showdown.
The writers could easily have meant that they won’t be *showing* us Peter Pan in flashbacks and we may or may not get him to outright say in the next ep which he is (though I would think Emma would have a few more questions for him so maybe he’ll pull a Henry and say “I’m not [Peter Pan]” like Henry told Emma in the pilot “I’m not Pinocchio” but we’ll see.
Eddie & Adam have always said that Peter Pan was their favorite story and they were waiting on the rights to everything. That’s why I don’t get the Hook hate (at least the stuff directed at him because he was “new” this year and they wanted the focus to be on the main characters). If they could have had their big story arc with these characters last year, they very well might have, or at least laid the groundwork for it.
We also originally heard that we wouldn’t be meeting Henry’s father for ages, but then poof: they get the rights and bam, Bae shows up (pretty sure they always knew they wanted it to be Bae, and to explain the time gap they were praying they could eventually show Neverland). Also since Peter is their favorite character it would make total sense.
Kudos to those who have found all sorts of other random clues supporting the Peter / Neverland theory! Wish we didn’t have to wait 2 weeks to find out what he actually says about it. I’ve been waiting for Neverland since Hook was introduced!

ParticipantI’ve always liked SwanFire on paper but was a little underwhelmed by Tallahassee (it was sweet, it had its moments, wasn’t really into SwanThief at the time, saw more potential in Hook). Fast forward to Manhattan and I am MUCH more impressed. So glad I like present-day Neal more than flashback Neal (and I’ve always been a fan of Bae – was so worried he’d grow up to be something awful based on what he went through with Rumple but glad he hasn’t lost all of his sweetness!)
I’ve been a pretty vocal supporter of CaptainSwan (still see the potential there – though most thrown together with Emma have a great potential story arc) but I can see/understand the SwanFire thing now (was always waiting to see present day Neal just because I try to be open-minded and wait to actually SEE something before hating it – things are always shades of grey on this show, that’s why it’s so great).
After tonight’s ep I’m still 50/50 but as opposed to things like Lost (I’m still mad), if this couple is endgame I’d be ok with it (based on what we know so far).
There’s definitely lots of potential and I’m looking forward to seeing more SwanFire moments. I always liked the *idea* of it, but the execution this time around was much better. It was so nice seeing him stick up for her this time too!
(And yes, it’s possible to be a fan of both sides and be torn. What can I say, I like most of the characters / potential pairings on the show and I can see why they would want to go down one or both roads at some point in the future. Just glad I’m not the one character that has to pick one of them. I want everyone to be happy!).

Didn’t Emma or Mary Margaret give Hansel and Gretel gingerbread cookies to eat in True North?
I added a generic “cookies” for MM because I couldn’t remember if there was a specific kind of not. I’ll have to pay close attention to food stuff when I do my rewatch closer to the season finale I guess.
