ParticipantI never take those quiz things seriously. I got Snow three times before getting Hook.

Participant@josephine do you remember what you answered to get Emma?

ParticipantI took the quiz three times yesterday and it came back with Snow White, all three times.
I took it again and now, I’m Hook.

ParticipantI hope the writers don’t go there again. In some ways, it could work because then Rumple would have the opportunity to make things right with young Bae but that would be the only thing I see working about it. It would probably be fun for Henry awhile and then, weird. And probably for Emma too.

ParticipantWow.
As much as I hate Pinnochio, I hated the way they wrapped up his storyline too, basically zapping away all that character development and making him a kid again. Could the same thing happen to Neal? Give him a chance to be a kid again? The writers could certainly go that way but after Selfless, Brave and True happened, I hope that they decide not to take that route. Plus, Henry becoming BFF’s with his kid dad, is kind of weird. We haven’t even seen Pinocchio playing with Henry, we’ve heard he has but haven’t seen it. .

ParticipantIn fact, unless the writers play the “Neal is the good guy that suffered” trope, I see it more of Neal owing Hook the chance to be in a family. Yes, Neal suffered a lot, but he had a second chance to be raised by someone that loved him (through Milah) and he denied it, once again, due to Rumple’s cowardliness (he refused to tell the truth). Am I seeing too much into this? I’m not saying Neal should hand over in a silver plate his family to him, of course not. But if anything happens, he should let him be the father figure to Henry, since he was never there, although it wasn’t his fault in this case.
Thank you for posting the name of that trope. I’ve been wondering for awhile where Neal might fall. Si based on that, I did a google search and came up with Main/Hurting Hero. I think it fits Neal.
I saw this on tumblr

“I like Hook, but I still can’t get over how he was confessing his love for Emma less than 3 days after betraying her and leaving her to die by the device in Storybrooke. I blame that on the bad writing and the unrealistic fairytale romances. “Sorry I left you for dead 2 seconds ago but I think we may be true loves, wanna make out?” Hell I’d have given him a smooch too, I just wouldn’t think I was in love with him.”
This is what I mean by the double standards in this fandom. Five days ago, before the crew left for Neverland, Neal was genuinely in love with Tamara and now after Tamara revealed her true love colors and Neal’s confession his love for Emma, it’s alright. And the person who submitted this doesn’t like a Hook fan, even though he or she says they are.
