ParticipantWe know there is a death coming and we have an idea who might be dying, but no one’s really discussed or theorized at least how it might happen and that, I think will play a major role in how the characters will deal with said death.

Participantthis is the best essay ever on who’s going to die. I think I’m going to scrap mine. this one had awesome gifs to accompany it and lol verdicts.

ParticipantNo one should be treated badly just because they disagree with you. I have seen some comments between swanfires and captain Swan shippers and I find it so strange. It reminds me of disagreements in kindergarten about what color was best.
I agree. and I love this analogy too. Lol.
No one will ever be right, because it is an opinion of a person, you may not agree, but it is not wrong.
Exactly. People should also not be shut down for expressing their opinions either.

Participantinterpret as you will but remember, to be kind and polite to each other.

You guys should go check out the Fanforum CS thread and the TWOP forum, they’re much more welcoming and you guys won’t have to hide in just your little section anymore. See you guys later.
Sorry about that Hookian and what happened in the chat earlier. I do get your frustration, really. Just reading the chat can sometimes be frustrating. I hope you still come back cause I like reading your opinions a lot. I hope everything will go well with you. *hugs*
I saw that too and I’m really sorry, hookian. Things really used to be so nice and friendly around here but with us CS ‘shippers and SF fans in the same place, and there’s more of them than us, it feels like we don’t have a voice in anything anymore. I remember in season one, going all over the place and reading theories and discussing stuff openly and there’d be some disagreements but we wouldn’t be yelling at each other. Or the other side, saying we’re wrong. No one’s polite anymore. We’re all snippy with each other and it’s only gotten worse, sadly.
The only two ways I can keep myself sane is restraint. I primarily stick to posting here and tumblr. Occasionally, I’ll read a spoiler and comment but generally, I try to comment on the less ‘shippy stuff to avoid cat fights and the like.

ParticipantGreat post about robot Neal @captaineala 🙂 Lol.
I think I’ve read it before, or something similar but yeah, I totally agree, Neal is very plot-devicey. The cinematography, the lack of close-ups or focus on Neal’s reaction or how he feels this season have been very telling.
And the questions posed at the end, that’s stuff that still hasn’t been addressed. I’d like to know when he stopped going by Baelfire and took the name Neal but again, it’s never been addressed. Stuff we did learn about his history, him knowing how to draw coming from his mother, it wasn’t revealed from Neal himself but through Hook because he knew that about Milah.
Outside of our main characters (and Rumple), we haven’t seen a lot of what happened to Neal before he met Emma and after arriving again in our world from Neverland.
It’s funny too, when there’s been something concerning Emma in Neverland, ever notice how Neal’s often been part of the background, away from the action? After Pan took Henry’s heart, Emma’s trying to console Regina and Neal’s pacing back and forth in the background away from our main characters instead of being by their side. It’s been like that in a few other scenes too in Neverland. He just sort of lingering in the background away from the main action until he has a big role that needs to him to be in the front.

ParticipantActually, it’s also probably likely to be a backstory episode – Both Cora and Graham died in their backstory episodes. And we know August is making an appearance soon… it could parallel Tallahassee maybe. With Neal doing the right thing. Idk, obviously that’s a controversial opinion and i won’t speak it outside this thread lol.
Hmm, good point.
I’m lurking and not posting in the who’s spoiler thread anymore. It’s just snow balled into a ‘I want this person to die’ because they’re not my favorite and it’s really sickening.

ParticipantHe mentioned the death could come at any time during 3B.
If it happens early on back in EF, then I can see why Hook and probably the Charmings, felt it was important to get Emma and bring her back into the picture before anyone else they care about dies. <-- that would drive the plot forward.

ParticipantIsn’t this Matt guy (the one who gave the spoiler, is he from TV Line?) a CS shipper? If so, I wonder if he would seem more upset in his writing about this. Hmmmm. (I am probably totally grasping at straws at this point)
He is a ‘shipper. Since the spoiler is coming from him, I’m not worried.
Adam and Eddie are going to write the show, how they want to write it and have said more than once, that they don’t cater to ‘ships. They write a story. So whoever dies, I’m confident it will likely be story driven, rather than for shock value or catering to ‘ships. The death will move the story forward.

ParticipantSo their argument that CS is fanservice is shooting themselves in the foot with this spoiler, really. Seriously, the fanservice argument has so many holes.
Adam and Eddie also don’t cater to bullies either.
And if they catered for bullies, that’s DEFINITE fan service.
I trust Adam and Eddie and they know what they’re doing. Everything that happens on this show, tends to be well-thought out. Lines aren’t just written for the sake of being written, to move the action forward. There’s meaning for every action and spoken line.
But hey, if you don’t like, no one is forcing you to watch.
