I had a dream about Captain Swan. I think Colin and Jen were filming a scene together. They were flying together. Hook wore his usual black leather but Emma wore a different outfit. It looked like indian skin and they were holding each other and he kissed her. It was really beautiful and dramatic. I remember there were different shots of it, a wide angle, a semi-close and a really up-close one and the director and they decided the really up close one wasn’t good.
[adrotate group="5"]You know, just because the Neverland arc is done, does not mean that Hook’s story is done. Pan’s story, that’s definitely done and I think Hook’s proved thus far and with the winter finale, there’s more story to tell with him coming up.
I’m going to add from the perspective of a non shipper. Sometimes it’s just plain awkward. Sometimes you folks get a little obsessive and overprotective. Like you’re gripping the helm too tightly. The seas are rocky at the moment, but they are vast and mighty. Beautiful and glorious. Sometimes a sailor just needs to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and see where the seas take them. There’s room for everyone on the mighty seas.
OMG, I love this philosophy. It’s really beautiful. Adam and Eddie are writing a story guys, the ‘ships part is really secondary to that and it is first and foremost, a fandom thing just like fanfiction, fan art, forums even.
If it’s Hook then it’s a waste of an iconic character who never got to actually explore his traditional backstory.

If it’s Neal then HENRY LOOSES HIS FATHER. I’m sorry but I was 19 when my father died and it changed me as a human being and it’s not something that this poor 11 yr old should have to go through.
I’m sorry RG. Hugs. My boyfriend’s dad died suddenly a few years ago and it was hard too. He wasn’t my dad but he was a really nice man and he called me ‘his sunshine’ and I cried lots after I heard the news.
Not to mention the toll it would take on Rumple. If it’s Belle then my OTP is shattered and my favorite Disney Princess bites it when she was barely given anything to do.
I love Belle too. But I don’t think it’s her. I think she’s safe and we were promised, there’s lots Belle coming up in 3B. Doesn’t make sense to kill her when she has big stuff coming up.

Ok, I also sadly agree that Neal makes the most sense. He has never had his own storyline – it’s always about how he affects those around him – Emma, Rumple, Henry. He’s not really tied into the show, it’s not about HIS journey at all. I don’t know! I guess I’m kind of surprised either of them would die, honestly. But they sure did put Neal into the background in 3A – maybe that was on purpose.

I agree, he was in the background a lot in the first half. I’m not sure that was a build up towards his eventual death.
Anyone think THAT is the “very good reason Neal didn’t show up”? (Other than not being Emma’s TL, of course!) Maybe he dies during the year they were apart.
Maybe he does, maybe he dies later. We don’t know because the article never specifically stated when the episode would occur. But, if he did die during the one year gap, that would be a pretty serious reason to get Emma. I think Hook coming to get her, was a last-minute decision, a last resort. And if Neal was already gone by then, then maybe Hook really did have the best chance of succeeding.
I think Henry has to be on the table but he’s…not very likely, right? 8pm Sunday show on ABC, run by Disney, isn;t going to legit kill a kid.

I’m confused…..again….as usual. Why do you suppose the story in one paragraph referred to the death as a major cast member. But in another paragraph referred to ” series regular”?
Does the writer actually know who dies? Or are they just guessing? Is a “major cast member” a contractual title? Or is a “series regular” a contractual title, or, are they both?Series regular means when a character is required for an extended arc beyond one season, they are promoted to series regular.
This is different from recurring status.
A recurring character is a fictional character, usually in a prime time TV series, who often and frequently appears from time to time during the series’ run. Recurring characters often play major roles in more than one episode, sometimes being the main focus. The character’s return is often based on popularity and liking from fans. Recurring characters also appear in less or more than just half of the episodes per season or book.
And all characters are major characters, even the secondary ones.

It’s a hard call for the producers (and the actors’ plans complicate things), but a show jumps the shark when the producers stop planning from their own vision and start writing for the fans.

Whoever it turns out to be… I hope A and E don’t try to do some magnificent song and dance about how it was planned all along because nothing will ever convince me that Baelfire–the reason for the curse–was SUPPOSED to die. I hope they are open and honest with us about it.

Yeah. It’s sad because everyone is saying they want it to be Hook.
That’s primarily the hate talking. Hook is popular with a lot of people but not everybody loves him. The people calling for it to be Colin, generally, are the same people who hate him.
I don’t want it to be ANYBODY. Ugh. This is going to dominate the forums for a good week at least… WE NEED HAPPY SPOILERS NOW PLEASE
I agree. You all know where I stand in regard to Neal. I don’t like him but I still want him to have a happy ending. I just don’t see it happening with Emma.
