    I think the fact that this episode and the previous one are close together is a red-herring. @slurpeez108 wrote:

    I’m glad we’ll finally get to see the Pinocchio/Geppetto back-story. I’m also hoping we can clear up whether August really is Pinocchio or not. It seems like we’ll be finding out answers to lots of the major questions that have been asked on the forum and elsewhere.

    I’m hoping the Stranger doesn’t turn out to be Pinocchio. I want him to be a new character like Emma. But it could also be a totally unrelated story within the episode as well.

    Here is a big spoiler: We’re going to see Kathryn/Abigail (Anastasia Griffith) again in this episode! That must mean Kathryn is still alive in Storybrook, and we won’t just see her as Abigail in a flash-back.

    Guest Stars:
    Kathryn/Abigail (Anastasia Griffith)

    Well, now that I think about it, Abigail seemed a lot older than Frederick in ‘What Happened to Frederick,” so I think I can understand why we might see her again when Snow is small.

    Theory:
    I think the reason REGINA ends up married to King Leopold is it was an arrange marriage. After Snow’s mother dies the match is arranged to cement relationships between the kingdoms OR to get $$$$$ for the realms coffers.
    .

    I’m starting to think maybe Regina met little Snow in the stables along with the Stable Boy, but Regina didn’t know who Little Snow was. But Little Snow is all sweet and befriends Regina, Snow runs back to her daddy and tells him about this sweet woman she met in the royal stables and Snow’s dad meets and proposes to her on the spot because Snow has taken a liking to her.

    Or maybe before King Leopold proposes to Regina, he seeks out Cora and she agrees to the arranged marriage because rich = power.

    Oh wait it looks like Regina’s mother is holding Regina up in the air and Regina looks scared. Wow i think her mother is going to be something else in this one.

    Yes, she is! I just saw a flip behind the scenes pic of Lana in the air, suspended by wires and it’s the same field. So, Cora is a witch and very controlling, it looks like which makes me wonder how Henry Sr. could have fallen for her. Maybe she became evil later.

    I don’t think Regina’s family were royal, otherwise Cora wouldn’t be manipulating Regina to marry a royal.

    I think that Snow is going to find Charming and kiss her and she will wake up in the coffin again like at the beginning of Ep 1. And i think that Charming is going to take control of his father’s castle. I think that David is going to get his memory back.

    I like that because it would bring everything full circle.

    But that begs the question of who Red’s Happily Ever After is?
    But I think it’s not a who at all. I think her Happily Ever After is more being able to live her life, not being hunted, and being in control of her power.

    I agree.

    Before the whole big reveal that Red was the wolf, I thought Granny was being so mean to Red, restraining her freedom like that. And maybe Ruby’s happy ever after is that she is able to live her own life.

    3. The scene where Henry was trying to help Ruby find a job and she doesn’t like the bike basket delivery idea so Henry asks her how she feels about delivering things on foot with a little basket. The way he looks at her when he asked her was classic. Then the scene where Henry tells Emma that Ruby is Little Red Riding Hood.

    And Ruby made a comment like, “Is that even a job?” 😆 😆

    Favorite moment: Granny settling into her rocker with her crossbow at the ready–and you just know she’d use it, too! You go, granny girl!

    Yeah, you don’t want to mess with Granny. 😯 But it made sense later why she placed herself right outside Little Red’s room.

    @darcyfarrow wrote:

    Least favorite: the scene in which Rumple DIDN’T appear. Aw gee, not even one measly little scene? Not even a walk-through from Mr. G?

    Yeah, I think this was the second episode without him 😥 But I feel like Rumps could have been in there somewhere in spirit. ‘Cause remember when Granny said that she went to a magician to enchant Little Red’s red cloak — what if she went to Rumple?

    I believe it is different from Regina’s usual boxes. It looked like to me that it could possibly come from the palace. Maybe it was a jewelry box belonging to Snow White…which would explain how Mary’s fingerprints were inside the box. Regina could have gotten it and used the animal heart the Huntsman brought to her faking Snow White’s heart. Just an idea. So what do you think????

    Did Emma verify that is a human heart? I think she did.

    Hmm, it didn’t look like a jewelry box to me. There didn’t appear to be any loose compartments inside.

    See, I’m telling ya – it all goes back to the characters being able to think for themselves. Once they begin to think for themselves, they start to have flashbacks of who they really are. And isn’t a library full of books a great way for people to start thinking for themselves? You read a book and start to theorize about why a certain character behaves a certain way, then you start to draw parallels about your own life. For the Storybrooke characters they would be reading about things they have never experienced before. It would almost guarentee they would choose to deviate from their Storybrooke course = thinking for themselves.

    Excellent parallel 😀

    @King Arthur wrote:

    But where are Mary Margaret and David getting there books? MM says to David in Skin Deep “Oh, you got the book”.
    ;(

    I was wondering that too. Then, I thought, maybe there’s a tiny bookstore somewhere in Storybrooke that we haven’t seen yet.
