Tumblr post from someone who feels the same way about wasted Hook potential as I do. It’s long-ish, so I’ll just copy and paste one paragraph…
Everything they’ve done with this character is wrong. They turned him from an interesting villain to a lovesick puppy who serves zero purpose other to follow Emma around and did so with zero development. They portray him as a pushy man who resorts to stalking, thinks it’s his decision when and how Emma deals with issues, and lies to make himself look good. And these things are portrayed as romantic.
I’d also like to know what the “bad things” Emma has done are – that remotely stack up to the garbage Hook has pulled.
I too would very much like to know what JMo was referring to.

Urgh, JMo’s comments just rubbed me completely the wrong way and make me think that A&E had to have a talk with her to explain how they see things when she went to them to ask WTF was going on.
I’m trying to come up with a catchy blog title. Any suggestions?
I just googled Puck quotes for inspiration and “Whither wander you?” was at the top of the list. Something like that might work maybe?

Hopefully David Anders will be free too so we might get some scenes of them together? (maybe? I’m afraid to ask for more than that)
He’s gonna be in iZombie. But assuming they keep filming that in Vancouver (they shot the Pilot there) I guess that might make it easier to schedule him appearing on OUAT, perhaps, maybe. I think the original S2 storyline they had planned for Red involved developing Frankenwolf. Whether or not they’ll stick to that now though, who knows.
Good to hear that she’s been told she’ll be back. Though the way they worded it kinda bums me out, because it sounds like she’s not even banking on it until it actually happens, which you can’t really blame her for if that is the case, considering what happened last time she was supposed to have a storyline. Here’s hoping they do actually give her something worthwhile to do.

Emma Swan: Neal never got a fair chance! He never got to spend time with you after you found each other again. He never got to see Henry grow up. He spent exactly one birthday with his son. We always talked about home… now I still have a chance to find it but he doesn’t and it’s killing me.

It is suspicious. It’d also pretty much butcher the Disney story and the only similarity left would be that her powers have to do with ice in some way. That doesn’t mean that it’s not something A&E would do, on the contrary I think they totally would. But anyone tuning in expecting to see the Elsa they already know and love would be disappointed.
