ParticipantI think not just courage but a chance at happiness, a chance at love, a chance to undo what was done. I wonder if Zelena not only wants revenge but she wants to recreate herself as someone loved and accepted.
I like the sound of that. It would certainly fit with her line to Rumple about what he’d wanted for himself.

ParticipantA fair bit of warning, but on the contrary ABC has been notoriously known to spoil deaths in promos for other shows before.
If there’s gonna be an ep where a main character dies, they’re gonna hype that in the promo for the ep it happens in, because killing off a main character isn’t the kind of promo gold they get to play with every day. So the fact that the promo for 315 mentioned nothing about a death, makes me really doubt that a main character is dying in 315.
IF someone dies in 315, IF the scene in 316 IS a funeral, I’ve been saying since we knew that Little John turned into a monkey that maybe he’ll end up being killed when he attacks people. And in the promo for 315, we’ve got a monkey attacking people. Death of a minor character like LJ wouldn’t be anything worth hyping in promo, it’d just be a thing to keep as a shocker when the ep airs. And if crew were telling fans that a death was filmed, maybe it was LJ’s death, and the crew were just trolling the fans, being sneaky with how much info they did or didn’t reveal when they said, “Oh yeah, the death has already been filmed.”
Basically, until the ep actually airs, we know nothing for sure. But I still believe that if a MAIN character is being killed off in an ep, they’d promote the crap outta that because a major death would likely draw in more viewers, so you don’t waste that opportunity by not mentioning it at all in the promo.

ParticipantI think one of the most annoying things to me about this episode was A&E’s/Robert Hull’s apparent *COMPLETE* lack of knowledge about women’s anatomy and human gestation periods. Snow wakes up one day, and tells Charming they’re pregnant, and she is SO CLEARLY PREGNANT. Then the next scene has a “9 months later” cue?! In a normal world, it takes at least a month to even maybe think that you might be pregnant (and last I checked Sneezy didn’t bring the Storybrooke pharmacy over with him for Snow to get a pregnancy test) and at least 3 months before you even start showing. As Emma would say, Seriously? Did they make tacos the night before and she just magically knew they had conceived another child and looked 3 months pregnant? Maybe time works differently in FTL, basic math doesn’t work? C’mon.
That bugged me too, but it made me laugh more than anything. I can believe that Snowing started making tacos soon after arriving back in FTL. It was an emotional time, they’d lost so much, so they (literally) embraced being together. But the implication was that that scene was the day after they took up residence in the castle. Snow was admiring the view like it was the first time she’d seen it in forever, and Regina gave Robin the arrows for having helped her break in. So unless they made a baby and Snow magically knew all in that first night back in the castle, it makes no sense.
Maybe Snow was already pregnant before they left SB, before NL even, and fair enough that could have happened, but then why the magical realisation on this particular day? She hadn’t been acting like she thought she might already be pregnant, even in NL when she talked about wanting another baby, and that was only a week ago for them at that point, so she should have been feeling like maybe she was already by then.
But the thing that really made me laugh was that they had a full length shot of a very obviously pregnant Ginny, and tried to pass it off like she’d only just discovered she was pregnant. Then they flashed forward to “9 months later”. So judging by how pregnant she looked in FTL, she’s about 14 months pregnant now. 😛 Seriously, they couldn’t just shoot her from the shoulders up for that, “surprise, I’m pregnant,” scene?

ParticipantI think this is a very misleading Press Release which should have been worded differently.
I think they are going to discover that he isn’t actually dead, but lost somewhere. I do think it’s misleading.
Agreed. From the perspective of Neal and Belle, they are essentially trying to bring Rumple back from the dead, that’s the most basic way to describe what they’re attempting, (and a press release is like a tweet in that you’ve only got limited space to get the point across). That doesn’t mean that’s what’s actually happening though.
Also odd wording is saying that Neal finds himself back in SB, like he’s only just arriving in our world. I’d been thinking he came over to our world separately, but 314 debunked my thinking on that, and instead I ended up thinking that Zelena had him prisoner in the farm house, and while she was away visiting Snowing, he got out, and went and busted Rumple out of the storm cellar, and they both made a run for it and split up in the SB woods, (“We need to split up, son, she still has my dagger and I could be a danger to you if we’re together when she discovers we’ve both escaped.”) Now, that could still work if the press release is just worded strangely, and Neal meets up with everyone else in town, and then discovers Rumple is still missing out there somewhere, (because Zelena summoned him back, in that clip in the promo). Rumple’s obviously with the group at some point judging by the promo, but perhaps they lose him, and it’s after that that they find Neal, which is him “finding himself back in SB” even if he’s been trapped in the farm house on the outskirts of town up until this point.

ParticipantAssuming that Zelena needs heart, courage and brains to complete whatever mission she’s on, it’s a shame she doesn’t possess any of these qualities herself. And, since she doesn’t possess these qualities, as our heroes do, I predict her mission will backfire.
Agreed, and it’s making me feel a bit sorry for her.

ParticipantIt is odd that this scene was cut, because that really is something major! I do think it was meant to be in 314, because Raphael was included in the guest star list in the 314 press release. Maybe it was written in such a way that it could be slipped into another ep instead, without it messing with the context?
PS. I love that William fricking Shatner is a Oncer. LOL

ParticipantThis is how I would like this to play out. Perhaps, Neal is in danger from the WW and somehow being controlled by her. Neal sends the note to Hook so that Hook can save Emma/Henry since Neal perhaps knows about Walsh and the WW plans. Hook cannot let anyone in town know that Neal sent him because they don’t know who the WW is in SB and when she might be eavesdropping. By revealing the truth that he is working with Neal it would put Neal in further danger.
This would allow for some good CaptainFire and also unite the fandom. I don’t know if it will happen this way, but I like to think it’s possible.
YES, for that bit I bolded in particular. JMo has said in recent interviews, when talking about Neal and Hook, that those two have a relationship and mutual respect and whatnot, which frankly makes no sense judging by what we saw of them in S3A, but it WOULD make sense if they’ve been secretly working together in S3B. So that’s the hope I’m clinging to, because my kingdom for some mature, emotional interaction with present day CaptainFire.
Even if Neal’s being held captive by Zelena in SB, it would still make sense to keep it hush hush if he’s the one who sent Hook the message, because if word about that gets out, then there’s the chance that Zelena would find out that Neal’s been working against her, so Hook’s keeping it secret to try and protect Neal. Which, going back to my desire for CaptainFire, would be rather glorious, considering how differently things played out between them in NL back in the day when Hook did the opposite of protecting him from Pan, so YAY character progression.

ParticipantThe bit in the middle, that’s glowing red in the BelleFire pic, is a sun design if you look at the overhead shot. You think “sun” you think happy, bright, eternal flame. When the symbology of the Ouroboros is added around the outside, maybe it’s just me, but the vibe of the whole thing takes on a darker feel. Maybe BelleFire were trying to do it the sunshiney way, and that just doesn’t work, you need the rest of it to pop up around the outside or nothing will happen, and the thing that happens inevitably isn’t so sunshiney.
Phee
ParticipantOh he’s totally the Dark One in that scene IMO. That’s not mortal Rumple being brought back, it’s the Dark One.
Also, looking at the pics again, I noticed that the Ouroboros part around the edge doesn’t even appear to be there in the BelleFire shot.
