Let’s say that the laws of magic get broken, and Ana gets brought back…would that be permanent?
I’d think that the laws would only be broken briefly, and then order will be restored, because otherwise, well, you’re changing the fracking laws of the universe, and I think that there’s a certain order that needs to be maintained for the universe to function as it should.
Last week we saw Nyx saying that Amara’s fate was to die, she wasn’t supposed to be saved, and she has to return the water to the well, which we’ve speculated could involve her drowning in the well. So if they’re gonna be consistent, then shouldn’t Ana’s fate to die be a fate that’s unavoidable as well, and when order is restored to the laws of magic, she’ll be dead again, even if she’s brought back briefly?

I think the Ruby double in her car did have an actual S2 Ruby costume when we got the BTS pics? Though we didn’t see it in the ep, so I dunno if it could really be used as evidence.

Pretty much since the beginning I’ve been anti-Ana and Will because they’d portrayed her as having just dumped him for her own personal gain, despite the dream they’d had together. Seeing what actually happened does redeem her in my eyes a helluva lot, (though I do still give her the sideye for having ditched him in the first place because I’m not 100% convinced she did it for them both, I think there was a fair bit of, “Ooooo, the sparklies do look lovely on me,” involved), and I’m not mad that Will forgave her, even though I’ve previously been thinking that she didn’t deserve his love or forgiveness at all. So yeah, I can see some similarities with SF now that we have all the facts, but I hadn’t seen similarities there before this most recent WL ep.
Will’s voice sounds so empty when he’s talking to Alice.
If they do break the laws of magic though…how does that affect the parent show? Wouldn’t that have some sort of repercussions on ONCE?
We don’t know how much time has passed in WL, do we? Would be interesting if the moment the laws of magic breaks worked out to be the same moment Rumple was stabbing himself. It’s sort of crack, but then again, they have had little things that sort of line up with the airing dates of both shows, like that gazebo appearing in both shows in the same week. The next OUAT may involve some exposition from Zelena about what happened to Rumple, in the same week we see the laws of magic breaking on OUATinWL?
GAH, it hurt so much seeing Will’s heartbreak, both in the past and present day when he had his heart.
I agree that the kiss was an “I forgive you.”
As to whether he’ll try anything now…well they did have that little conversation about changing the laws of magic and what Ana had wanted to do with it, (I like that she wanted to go all the way back to changing them ever going to WL in the first place, as opposed to just wanting to make Will love her again), so I can see Will being tempted to try something magical to be able to bring her back.
I don’t think Snow and Charming need any prompting to make tacos.
Good point, they likely would have got to working on another baby all on their own. Zelena doesn’t know all the stuff we’ve seen about Snowing wanting another baby though, so she may have sneakily offered them some encouragement. Or she might have just taken advantage of it when Snow got pregnant of her own accord.
Really enjoyed all the angsty stuff between Will and Ana, (but could have done without the cheesy effects when they kissed). I liked that the full truth about the day at the wagon came out, and both actors played it so well, you could really feel their pain and heartbreak over it all.
Loved seeing Cora again. OMG I hate her, but she’s just flawless.
Still really enjoying the Jabberwocky.
I know the Jabbapillar’s lair has always had a Star Wars vibe, but this scene felt even moreso than usual. Did he have that dancing girl in the bikini there previously? It’s been a while since I watched any Star Wars, but wasn’t there a fight that broke out in the Cantina too? Or was it just Han sooting that guy? Aynway, I got a Han-ish vibe from Cyrus in that scene. It was fun!
Speaking of Cyrus being fun, I had to laugh at him playing with the light switches in Will’s place in SB. Like a kid with a new toy, “light goes on, light goes off, light goes on, light goes off, this is so cool.” LOL
The relationship between Cor and Ana seems really similiar to that of Cora and Regina,
And that magic lesson had shades of Cora/Rumple, too. Really enjoyed how they wrote the Cora/Ana relationship.
Cora makes manipulation look so easy. Girlfriend was master of the poker face. She played them both so perfectly to get what she wanted out of them.
Dunno if you listen to the Greetings From Storybrooke podcast, GoldenKey, but their podcast for The Queen Is Dead is titled Johanna Did It because one of the hosts thought she was totally shady. Bill’s mentioned his crack theory in a couple of more recent podcasts too, mostly joking about it, but part of his brain is still holding onto the belief that Johanna was bad.
Dunno that I buy into it personally, but still, you’re certainly not alone in your Johanna suspicions.
