ParticipantJust yesterday I was thinking it was about time we got another casting call. Looking forward to their take on Black Beard!

ParticipantSeriously? Did they ever follow him?
That’s my question too. Frankly I’ve wondered for a while if whoever manages that account is a Neal-hating ABC intern. They don’t even respect the character enough to spell his name right. Looks like they’re also not following Sean. I wouldn’t put much stock in it.
PS. KFC, LET ME MARRY EVERY WORD OF THAT LONG POST!

ParticipantAlmost every child we read about in fairy tales is missing a parent. It’s a tragic commonality throughout most tales. Now we have new fairy tale children being born. I see no reason why the death cannot be Snow or Charming. But in particular, Snow.
Snow has been the moral compass from the beginning of our story. When someone doubts themselves, Snow gives them confidence. When everything looks hopeless, Snow brings hope. When things look dark, Snow brings light. When all seems lost, Charming and Snow come together.
But what would happen if the moral compass, the one who always brings truth and hope, we’re gone? Or, if Charming dies. Would Snow still believe in happy endings? Would hope remain?
Has Snow already lived her happy ending, and it’s someone else’s turn?
That’s a solid argument, Snow’s death could definitely bring up some interesting questions as everyone moves forward. I wonder if they’d go there though, because it would be beyond heartbreaking if Snow had another baby, her and Charming’s second chance to raise a baby together, and then one of them dies. On the show about family and hope, would they do something so hopeless and full of despair?
We aren’t going to know for a long time and we can keep coming up with theories and metas and scenarios but I think we’re going to drive ourselves nutty. (we already have) The death is going to happen. It’s going to suck. A lot. But maybe for now we sorta ease back a bit and let it unfold because it’s a long hiatus and this is only going to get worse the more we try to analyze EVERY SINGLE THING.
People were already paranoid about knowing if their fave actors have been on set, and now we know that one of them is gonna die. Yeah, people won’t be calming down over this issue any time soon, I’m afraid. *sigh*

ParticipantPlease stop saying that Hook should be a hero. He shouldn’t. He isn’t one. He hasn’t been one for centuries.
The same could be said for Rumple, but then he went and did something heroic by sacrificing himself to protect everyone else. No one (except Pan) has been more diabolical than Rumple, but he was still able to have a heroic, redemptive moment, so IMO there’s no reason that Hook shouldn’t have a chance at that as well. It doesn’t excuse their past actions, it proves that they’ve changed enough to be able to accept responsibility for them.

ParticipantI want Belle’s purple coat. That is a thing I need
That tumblr that finds the OUAT clothes has already identified it, (seriously, how do they manage to track these things down so quickly?), but it’s no longer available. Probably cost $500 anyway. LOL

Participanti heard there here was a day and night scene with them I think your theory definitely makes the most sense 🙂
The caption on this pic is “Getting ready for action in #Steveston” so it seems like maybe they were setting up but hadn’t started shooting yet around sunset…

Gotta be a reason is was a night scene, and with the pointing up, talk about stars seems to fit. Here’s a shot of them actually shooting on the beach at night…

ParticipantAnother reason that occurred to me why they won’t kill off Neal. The cycle of abandonment is a MAJOR theme for the Stilskins. Malcolm abandoned Rumple, Rumple abandoned Bae, and from the moment Neal discovered he was a father, his mentality has been: “We’re all messed up. What do you say we try to avoid that with him?” And since that moment, he’s been there for Henry in any way he possibly can be. This generation has succeeded at breaking the cycle of father/son abandonment that goes back (at least) two generations. They actually have a shot at sustaining a healthy, committed, father/son relationship. That is a major development for this family! I just cannot imagine them then turning around and killing off one half of this generation’s father/son pair. It would make no sense. It would negate the victory that was this family overcoming the breaking that abandonment cycle. It would make Neal’s efforts to be there for Henry null and void. I just can’t see any reason they would want to do that.

Participanthenry and hook were mostly talking but we were too far away to hear anything. i think hook was showing henry something because he kept pointing up
Speculation I just posted in the chat is maybe Hook’s hanging out, star gazing, having a think and a drink, and Henry comes along and interrupts him, asks him what he was doing, and then Hook points at the stars.

ParticipantTink seems to have the same scarf in both SB and at the (assumed) farm, and you can see Josh’s white tee in both locations too. So maybe they *poof* between those locations, if that really is the old Gale farm in Kansas, (which is a fair hike from Maine for a roadtrip)?
