ParticipantI was too lazy to post the pics, so thanks for that Kranen.
How can they make Belle look so stylish and Snow look so frumpy, all on the same day?

Caption says: “Garry Point Park, was the site of Henry’s Castle, prepares to shoot a scene with Hook and Henry on the beach.”Garry Point Park has been used in the past for Henry’s Castle, for the playground where Rumple almost killed him, and also for the stuff with Ariel and Belle on the beach. It’s also where Charming and Emma had their chat before heading off to the Diner in 310.

ParticipantI donât want Emma to lose those original memories either but in their defense, she actually hasnât lost those memories at allâŚ.theyâre just suppressed by the new ones Regina planted so Tallahassee will still be important for her whenever she gets her memory back.
I’m interested to see how the fake memories will mesh with her real life once she gets her memory back. Knowing what it feels like to have that sense of family, could it make her want Neal as a part of that even more? She had a version of Tallahassee with Henry with all the fake memories, plus the one year they did actually spend together, and could that rekindle her original recipe Tallahassee dream and give her new hope that it’s actually possible.
My theory is that the bad things if Pan was tracking Neal to track Emma to track the heart of the truest believer through some sort of blood magic is perhaps Emma and Neal would have been Killed and the Darling boys would have taken baby Henry. We all know that Darling boys knew of Henry because they were going to adopt the child in Save Henry.
Yes, I think Emma’s death could have been one of the potential “terrible things” that could have happened. I’ve figured that Pan had a hand in Emma being in jail for the purpose of getting that baby isolated, then he sent the Darlings to adopt him, and it was all meant to be easy. If Henry were with Emma and Neal, they’d have protected him, making it hard for Pan to get to him, not impossible like when Henry was in SB though, because as long as Emma and Neal could be disposed of, Pan could still get Henry. Knowing what we do of Pan, knowing that the Darlings were armed, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to assume that Pan would have told them to kill Emma and Neal if necessary, to get Henry. So Henry ends up an orphan in Pan’s clutches with no one to rescue him, Emma and Neal end up dead, John and Michael end up murderers (having killed someone they once considered a brother for bonus angst), and Emma’s death breaks the Curse, but her parents can never find her, and Rumple can never find Bae, which means the whole Curse and all the suffering people went through because of it was all for nothing. I’d say that’s a decent amount of “terrible things” that could have happened if Neal and Emma had stayed together.
So here is a question. Was August being guided by the side of good or for the side of bad. I can see Blue wanting Emma to go jail to ensure that Henry would be safely tuck away in SB, the town that doesnât exist in a land without magic. I can see Pan wanted Emma to go to jail, perhaps told the Darling boys to tip the cops off, so in the long run they can adopt the child but still Mr. Gold beat them to it. Who was providing August with his info, because I have the inclination that August was not working by himself that night. Questions, Questions, Questions.
I used to think that the “little fairy” August mentioned was Blue, but then we were told she didn’t have her memories, so then I thought it was Tink, but now it seems like she was legit trapped in NL, so I dunno about that any more either. I guess they could still work around that, maybe she WAS allowed to leave that one time, but there was something that forced her to return to NL, and completing that mission for Pan is why they weren’t outright enemies in NL and he let her live and roam freely.

ParticipantSchmacky, I often read your stuff on tumblr and have the urge to flail my arms screeching PREACH, and your long post from several pages back is no exception. The online fandom is such a tiny representation of the entire viewing audience, and it’s the viewing audience at large that dictates the ratings, so changing their story just to placate a particular bunch of online fans would be rather stupid, and they might not be perfect, but they know the business they’re in pretty well. Neal’s character has been a vital part of the story from day one, seriously, we’d have no show if Rumple didn’t need to find his son. Boyfriend is majorly important. They’ve said that they considered adapting Neal’s story because so many people online had guessed who he was, but ultimately made the decision to stick with their original vision for him. If that’s not evidence that online fandom won’t sway them from things they have set in stone, then I dunno what is. Considering how central the character of Nealfire is to the whole point of the show, I believe that from day one, one of the things they had set in stone was that that long suffering kid was gonna grow up and get his happy ending one day, and they constructed a poetic (Adam’s word) love story for him. For all the in-show reasons we can argue and interpret, I think that basic fact about how the show was conceived and constructed is one of the most telling things that SF is endgame.
As for the new spoilers about who’s shooting, even if it IS Hook and Henry shooting a scene alone, with no one else around…so what? Like some others have said, there are so many reasons that such a scene could eventuate. And let’s not forget that Henry is the most hardcore SF shipper going. Hook already knows he wants his parents back together, but it’s not like he’s spent any time with the kid to really get to know him or how deeply he feels on the matter. For all we know, this scene could end up being similar to the scene with Hook and Bae on the boat, only this time it’s Henry being upset about Hook wanting to keep HIS parents apart, and maybe the whole sense of de ja vu would be a slap in the face to Hook that he’s doing the same thing all over again, and he never got to repair his relationship with Bae, and that’s eaten away at him for forever, so does he really want history to repeat with Henry? If Henry feels this deeply about it, then there’d always be tension between them, even if he did end up with Emma, and does he want to put another kid through that sort of upset? And maybe the reality check from Henry is what will lead to Hook sacrificing his life to save Neal. We just dunno. Maybe it won’t be anything like what I’ve just speculated, but even if not, it could still be so many other things. And it’s one scene out of an entire ep, so it might not even end up being anything incredibly significant.

ParticipantThat full Twitter conversation about Meghan being spotted ended with them saying it was an old pic, so I wouldn’t put much stock in that.
I wish they’d give Ginny a different coat. That beige one is just so blah.

Participantand the biggie? Her death would IMO lead to Gold having psychic break, a nervous breakdownâŚ.Heâd be emotionally shattered and deeply, deeply despairing.
I’m doubtful that that’s the story they’d want to tell with him in the future. He’s been in that dark mental place for centuries, and has finally turned a corner in a MAJOR way. I think his storyline going forward will likely be reuniting with his family and having to re-invent himself without his Dark One magic. Without that, he can’t control and manipulate people like he used to, he doesn’t have his crutch, he’d have to adjust to his new role in the community and alter how he relates to people, and I imagine that would be frustrating, confusing, and at times demoralising. There’s plenty of potential for the character in that regard without them having to put him through more torment due to losing his TL or his son, both things that have been done before so would just be a rehash.

ParticipantOne person will become a hero, and another will die. Would your hero cowardly stand by and watch? Would they die? Or would they sacrifice their love and save the town?
If it were the only way to save everyone, Neal would offer himself to be sacrificed, because that’s how he rolls. He willingly sacrificed the only home he’d known, to save his father’s soul and to save everyone in FTL from his father. He sacrificed himself to the Shadow in order to protect the Darling boys. He sacrificed being with Emma so that she could break the Curse, not just for herself, but for everyone in SB. He was willing to sacrifice his life by falling into the portal so that Henry wouldn’t lose both his parents. So if his death was the only way to save all of SB, he’d step up to the plate again.
I wouldnât count on IMBD being a wealth of knowledge where this spoiler is concerned.
Yeah, I’ve noticed this season that they’ve been rather sporatic with updating the full cast lists for each ep, so I wouldn’t put much stock in it.

ParticipantI do think a hypothetical mini series for Neverland would be the best way to explain a lot of this. One issue in general is that aside from Hook, the other Neverland characters (Teen Baeâs actor isnât a regular) arenât regulars on Once Upon A Time, and they have a limited amount of centric episodes for each of the regulars per Season. The other issue is that they would need to somehow relate the events of the flashback to the present day storyline of each episode.
Yep, the more I’ve thought about it, the more I’ve started hoping for a NL mini-series, because it seems like the perfect way to cover this stuff. Must. Not. Get. Hopes. Up.

ParticipantBelle or Bae sacrificing themselves so that Rumple could live would be the LAST thing Rumple would ever ask of them. And I think they both know that. Rumpleâs final words to Baelfire were âlive and be happy. Even if itâs not with me.â If Belle or Bae sacrificed themselves for Rumple, Rumple would just turn around and re-sacrificie himself for them.
Agreed. The storyline would go around in circles and be pretty pointless.
Rumple told Bae that he would have a happy ending, just not with him. That should immediately exclude Neal from the running.
Yeah, I doubt they’d have Rumple tell Neal that as recently as the mid-season finale, if they were planning to kill Neal off.
