I’m sorry to say this, but my suspicion is that Michael Colman (Happy) has been fired and that the WWW will kill him.

That’s what I’d thought as well, but the pic that Sean’s wife tweeted had Michael hanging out with the rest of the cast at the pub, posing for a pic with Colin and all. If Michael had been fired for getting on the wrong side of a couple of the leading cast, I just dunno that he’d have been out drinking with them all? So I started to wonder if Happy will live after all.

Wicked sisters only works for me if the WWW was born before Regina. Cora wanted the good life, so she gave up her first child so it wouldn’t hold her back.

It only really works for me if I think of WW being the older one as well, (the hiding of a younger sister just feels like it would be too convoluted of an explanation to make it believable, given what we’ve already seen). If so though, I think she’d have given the baby up purely because she didn’t have the means to look after a child because she was so poor at the time. I could see PoorYoungCora having actually sold her baby to someone because she needed to be able to buy food for herself and her father. If so, it could explain the iron clad grip she had on Regina. She had to give up her first born child, and so she wasn’t letting her second born get away, no matter what.

Edited because having thought some more about it…One day YoungPoorCora heard about a traveling circus that had stopped in a nearby village. She went there, and found a man named Oscar Diggs who claimed to see the future. She went to him in the hopes that he’d tell her she’d be able to escape her life of poverty. Oscar liked the look of her, so he scammed her with a story of her finding true love and leaving her old life far behind, and that caused her to fall for him. He let her believe that when the circus moved on, she could come with him. Then one day she went to see him and the circus was gone. And she was pregnant. With no way to provide for the child, she gave her away (or sold her). When the child grew up, she went searching for her bio parents, which led her to Oz, where her father was now set up as the Wizard. Once there, she demanded to know who her mother was, and he told her about Cora. She acquired the crystal ball to help her track down Cora, and in the process discovered Regina, the child who Cora was utterly dedicated to. Having been given up, this made her seethe, caused her to become so envious of Regina that it turned her green. Now she has Regina’s castle, her clothes, and is on a mission to destroy the rest of her life as well.

So in other words: almost home.

What was it that Emma’s S3 promo poster said again? 😉 And considering the next land we’ll be exploring, and one of the big quotes that’s associated with the main protagonist of that story…I’m thinking we might get us some more “home” references before season’s end.

and it was EMMA who said date first, not Neal. In fact Neal never says date, he just suggests food and talking. Emma’s all like, “OMG. Date! you wanna go on a date?! I wanna go on a date too. But wait. Must be Savior. Must be strong. Must put on armor. Must not smile at adorable man….failing…failing…oh heck. SMILES!”

She really tried to hold that smile in, but she just couldn’t. LOL

Yet, he was never going to compete with Neal, not really, because Henry is the love of Emma’s life and Hook has shown himself to be a horrible father figure. That is the way it’s been written from the start. Just look at what Eddy Kitsis has previously said on the matter:

Agreed. The groundwork has been laid for SF from the very start of the show. Even if we didn’t know it back then, from the getgo, they were building this story about the son that Rumple lost and how he needed the Curse in order to find him, but he wouldn’t be able to find him without the Curse breaking, and that was Emma’s part to play, and in the midst of it all, these two people were drawn together and fell in love. Their relationship is an extension of the core of the show, and I just do not believe that Kitswitz would alter something so important, just to bow to fan pressure. Hook is one of several obstacles to have been thrown at SF. That’s how TV shows work, you throw obstacles at the OTP to torture the fans by drawing out the culmination of their love story. Even if SF aren’t officially back together by season’s end, I really do think they’ll have made some great strides by then.

The song for the SF Family vid was perfect. Kicked me right in the FEELS.

I can’t imagine Emilie getting demoted to recurring status, no matter what amount of screentime she does or doesn’t get. They’d want her exclusively for their show, wouldn’t want her going off to star in anything else, and keeping her on contract as a regular, giving her the pay rate of a regular, is the way to do that. She’s not just some random actress, she was part of LOST, so she’s probably sorta like family to Adam and Eddy in a sense. They didn’t have that sort of previous relationship with Meghan, which may have contributed to how she ended up getting demoted.

Good point about Sean probably getting regular status if they do bump someone else up to that level.

Frankenstein-Whale post curse seemed like a drunken mess of wasted plot potential tossed aside for a few jokes more than an attempt to fashion a whole character. The whole science versus magic thing ending in a crushed neck of missed opportunities. Was Whale-F capable of growing and changing? We’ll never know entirely but we saw a moment of friendship of sorts start to form between him and Red, “monster to monster”.

I suspect that their original plan for S2 would have involved some more development of Victor, which would have fed into the Frankenwolf thing as Red’s big story arc. Part of what makes me think that is the way they staged some stuff in We Are Both…

It works on the “if he hurts her he’ll meet Granny’s crossbow and he knows it” level, and also on the “cupid’s arrow” level. And after Granny had walked past him, he started to walk in Red’s direction, doing the nervous neck rub like he wanted to actually approach her and say something…

Then at the town line, during Charming’s speech, immediately after, “Stay here and every choice is open to you,” there’s this shot…

Then we got red being the only colour he’d seen in his world. And Frankenstein and the Wolf(wo)man is a classic combo that I’m sure they’d love to play on and twist to their own design.

Anyway, it seems IMO that they were laying some groundwork for it even in the 2nd ep of S2, (and even in S1, because yes he was sleazy with his leering, but now we know about his connection to the colour red, which makes me see S1 Whale as slightly less sleazy with the butt staring, he probably had some subconscious thing about being fascinated by the colour red buried in his brain somewhere), and the writers have their pic stuck on the wall, so I’ve gotta believe that it (Victor’s individual character growth, in addition to the relationship) would have been explored and developed properly had they not changed course mid-season.  Would there be enough time to develop it properly at the back end of S3?  Who knows, but I won’t be surprised if they give it a shot.

I do wish they’d used Victor in the magic vs science storyline, that seems like a massively wasted opportunity, but maybe they’ll be able to rectify that a bit if they use him in the Wizard of Oz storyline instead, (the Wizard’s illusions were a sort of science masquerading as magic).

I can see Ruby having a heavy presence again in Season 4 like she had in Season 1 as I don’t think Intelligence will be renewed. Episode 1 clocked in at a 2.4 whilst episode 2 dropped down to a 1.2.

I wonder if Ginny and Josh’s work load might decrease a bit towards the end of S3 and even into S4? They’re gonna have a newborn, and the actors already seem to be battered around with 4am call times and then shooting until after dark, so how do you balance those kind of work hours with looking after a new baby? Anyway, if those two have their screentime cut back a bit, that could maybe make some room for Meghan to become a regular again, if Intelligence does get the chop.

Meghan Ory has been told ages ago, that Red will be back, that is no news at all. What she said in this short interview doesn’t give me the impression, that she has been booked for any upcoming episode so far, so not getting my hopes up high.

Her return was also mentioned in Keck’s spoiler article the other day, which had some info that actually came from Adam and Eddy. Meghan is from Vancouver, so now that her show is wrapped, I imagine she’ll be going home to Vancouver once she has no more Intelligence obligations in LA, (looks like she went to a Television Critics Association event the other day, she sent a tweet about there having been an Intelligence panel, so maybe she still has some other media commitments before she can leave LA). Once she’s back home, there’s no logistical reason why she couldn’t be back on the show towards the end of the season.

I dont for a moment think that Rumple didnt make Cora pay a price for tricking him in their baby deal. I actually think since Cora broke thier second deal, that Rumple went back to thier original deal, which was Cora giving Rumple her first born in exchange for him teaching her to spin gold.

I could see him doing something like that. But I could also see that, if he already knew he was gonna corrupt Cora’s child, that would be revenge enough for him. And having Regina push Cora through to WL was some bonus punishment for her having gone back on their deal too. So I could see them maybe writing in another altercation between YoungCora and Rumple, which involved BabyRegina somehow. But if they just leave things as is, it doesn’t feel like there’s a hole in that aspect of the story for me.

It was 300 years or so for Rumple, and it is pretty good casting that Eion Bailey sort of looks like Stephen Lord who played Malcolm. There’s a gifset around here somewhere about it–pretty eerie really.

I can’t find it again but yes it’s very creepy. August looks like adult Malcolm. No wonder he spooked Rumple

:o I would very much like to see that

Buggered if I remember where the gifset is, but here are pics of Stephen and Eion…

Everyone complains how Eion looks nothing like LittlePinocchio, but he sure does look like a Stiltskin.

However, though I have to check, I do believe the wizard gets back to oz at some point in the books. I dont think it was by tornado or balloon but I could be wrong

    So sayeth the Oz wikia…

He returned to the circus, but during another ascension came down in a crack in the earth caused by an earthquake. He eventually landed in the Land of the Mangaboos where he was reunited with Dorothy Gale and met her cousin, Zeb Hugson. After demonstrating his power by producing Nine Tiny Piglets, the Wizard was challenged by Gwig, the local sorcerer, and Oz sliced the Mangaboo in half. The Mangaboos forced the companions to leave their country, so the travelers journeyed through the Valley of Voe, the Land of Naught, and a den of Dragonettes before reaching a dead end. From there, Dorothy signalled Ozma, who transported the entire party to the Emerald City. The Wizard took up residence in his old rooms behind the Throne Room, and Ozma invited the little old man to remain in Oz permanently. (Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz)
