Was just listening to the AfterBuzz podcast for this ep, and they suggested that Cryus’ mother is Amara, and something to do with him is why she wanted to be able to change the laws of magic, which I found to be an intriguing idea. Amara did seem ageless, and Cyrus has been around for who knows how long, so I don’t think there would be any t-word issues that could prevent it?

For real! That one person was all, “stop being such a Neal”, or some crap, and I wanted to reach into Twitter and slap them. URGH! And the amount of CSers who posted crap on his promo poster on FB, just, GRRRRRR! I’m sure he’s dealt with enough unreasonable fans in his time that he doesn’t take all the nasty comments to heart, but still, he’s a HUMAN BEING, and people are so unreasonably mean towards him. I just wanna hug him. *sigh* And I love him for speaking out about the things he does.
I’ve never thought of fairies as being asexual. In this show, they’re equated with nuns. Nuns are required to be celibate as part of their duty, but that doesn’t mean that they’re asexual and incapable of falling in love and having a relationship, (case in point: Nova). IRL, a nun can leave the order and have a relationship if she wants, but that doesn’t mean she stops practicing her religion. So I think it’s entirely possible that Tink could regain her magic, and still have a relationship in the future as well.
The fact that this piece of dialogue is so close to their previous almost-conversation about Bae, I think does support the idea that it could be part of an AU setting. The way I’ve been thinking of the AU setting for 312 for a while though, is that Bae did come back to FTL, and grew up there, and reconciled with Rumple. If so, then this Rumbelle scene doesn’t match up, because of MRJ’s age in the FTL (potentially) AU scenes. The way I’d been thinking about it, Bae and Rumple had a good relationship before Belle was ever on the scene.
Maybe it’s just me but I really don’t want to watch even half of a season with the entire town having falsified identities again…didn’t we watch that in all of season one?! 🙁
It could either be an interesting concept to flip it around, or it could feel like a total rehash. I think it’d be a sort of different twist on the theme, because they’d actually be completely conscious of their present, unlike with the original Curse. And they would actually have memories, they just wouldn’t be real, unlike in the original Curse, where they were just living in a fog.
Oh, this is just all so confusing and we have months to get into the crack.
The only thing I’m completely sure of right now is that this hiatus is gonna be painful.

Is it possible the scroll only says a heart is required without specifying what kind of heart?
This is what I’m thinking. They’re talking in this new clip about the purpose of the Curse. “The last one was created to service the Queen’s wishes. This will be done per Pan’s desire.” And Panry says, “They’ll be slaves to this new land we’re making.” Regina wanted to take away everyone’s love and happiness, so she could have her own, therefore, she needed the heart of the thing she loved most. Pan wants to make everyone his minions, so he needs the heart of his most loyal minion. The way he was looking at Felix was very, “You’re going in the well next, friend.”
BTW, props to Jared, because the way he was dropping the stuff into the well, his whole attitude in that scene, I’m totally buying him as Pan.
Plus, we saw the spoiler images for 3×11 of Peter Pan (aka Robbie Kay) holding what appears to be the scroll. So, I think that HenryPan drops the necessary ingredients down the well which are required to unleash the curse, but that he holds onto the parchment up on which the spell is actually written.
Yeah, Pan has the scroll when they’re out in the street, and it looks like it ends up in Regina’s hand, so it didn’t go in the well.
But for me, at least, the jacket is, like Phee said, armor It’s more a symbol of what is wrong with Emma, her insecurities being hidden behind a tough outer shell, some impenetrable that no one can breech.

What made her reach for her jacket was Neal, the idea of opening up those wounds again. Because once you start, you’re never going to stop. Once you go down that path (one of many paths as my OTP declared in their own little party scene *insert happy sigh here*) it’s you’re future. And I think that’s really frightening for Emma, that she can have the future she’s always wanted. She can have Tallahassee.

Well, that ep we just got was all about the Snowing flashbacks, but present day had some serious SF development. So if anything, I’d say it might bode well for more SF development, if the 314 flashbacks are gonna focus on (at least one of) Emma’s parents again. 😉
Just look at her face. Think back to The Queen is Dead, “I don’t think forgivness is possible with him (Rumple)” and look how far he’s come…how far PapaStiltskin and Son have come. And now it’s SF’s turn.

Does anyone else think that Emma bought her red coat as a way to remember Neal?
She absolutely did IMO. JMo has said that the jacket is sort of like “armour” for Emma, which I think plays rather nicely into the idea that she got it because it reminded her of Neal’s jacket. That jacket would have been a constant reminder of both good emotions and bad. Just like the Bug. Just like the keychain. They’re all symbols of the love she had, and lost, but can’t ever forget.
Oh I hope it is a Charming centric, and would love to see him saving Rapunzel! Maybe this happened back before he ever met Snow? When he was just a farmboy, but still had the princely qualities?
