Ya know, I’m curios as to why they allow VCF to report what they do?
Anything that they shoot in a public place is fair game for the public to see, photograph, and talk about. There’s no legal way that ABC could prevent it.

I dunno exactly how long ago it was that whatshername who plays Ella was back in Vancouver, and we were wondering if it was for WL, but if Will does end up in SB, and if Ana is Ella’s sister…Ella so needs to be the one to find that bottle.

This should work out OK with the Dagger rules. Will Pan maybe get a shot in and stab Rumple in retaliation, (Pan does carry a dagger himself), and that’s why Rumple’s dying? Or do they actually have some sort of magical “if one dies, both do” connection?

DO curse gets confused because it’s meant to go into the body of the person who did the stabbing with the dagger, but that person is already the DO…
Rumple also (mostly) dies (until Belle saves him in traditional B&tB style)…

This will be airing at 11am my time and I’m hoping I’ll be able to watch a live stream. Is before midday too early to start drinking?
When we got the pics of Rumple stabbing Pan didn’t the description of what was going on say that Rumple comes up and the others seem to get frozen, and then after they’re unfrozen Belle falls down crying?
I think it’s Pan doing the freezing. There are pics of him standing right in front of the group, talking to them, and they seem to be standing like they’re frozen.
You know this is the line of thought I’m working from, but the problem is she would have to believe that Robin is out there and to the best of our knowledge she considers him lost. There is a chance though that Tink convinced her that he’s still out there or that she will be convinced of that before episode’s end (it would make sense since the breaking the original curse seemed all but hopeless). If that’s the case then we might see something along the lines of in order to break the curse Emma has to find Robin and reunite him with Regina. And with their true love consummated her heart will be fully healed and happy endings brought back.
That’s what I’m thinking, that it will take the 2nd half of the season for them to come together and fall in love, and the kiss would happen in the finale. I think it’d be a lovely full circle moment for Regina’s story, if her love eventually ends up saving everyone from this second curse, which happened in part because she cast the first curse, which she was inspired to do due to having lost her first love.
How, or even if, the FTL photos for 312 could play into this whole situation, I dunno.
wow that’s twisty, isn’t it? But wouldn’t someone had to put TL on the scroll from her parents? I mean, that’s how Rumple did it with Emma. Hmmmmm
The EQ breaking a curse by being a participant in a TLK, yeah, it’s sorta twisty, (which is why it could be fun for them to do). 😉 I’m thinking of it like there’s something of herself that gets infused into the curse whenever she does her lightening thing to alter it, and that’s the equivalent of the drop of Snowing TL that was part of the previous curse.
So what I’m wondering is if the smoke starts out green when Pan enacts the Curse, but then Regina does the purple lightening, which alters the magic in the smoke, changes its colour to purple by the time it reaches town, and it does something different to what Pan had been planning.
I like that theory. I think it would be very appropriate for Regina to save those that she cursed
If so, and if the Regina-altered curse still has a detrimental effect of some description, would that mean that she would be the only one who could break it? Like, with a TLK? From Robin?
I think the purple smoke comes from Rumple enacting a curse(more like a protective spell) of his own for his son (again) but with a completely different context behind it given that he’s going to put himself on the line to protect his son, and Belle and those closest to his loved ones. Similar to Merry Weather casting a spell of her own after Maleficent’s curse on Aurora. She couldn’t stop the curse from happening but she could protect those in limbo until the spell was broken.
But wouldn’t it take someone actually with magic to be able to enact such a curse/spell? Because Rumple can’t use his own magic right now with that cuff on. Could he still perform other magic, even with the cuff?
I think the purple smoke scene in the promo was actually reused footage from 1×22 when Rumple brought magic to SB.
Just went to check screencaps to see if there was a comparable shot in 122.

Looks to me like the 311 shot is a fresh shot for this ep. The cloud looks higher. The 122 cloud seemed to pass under the power lines.

Rumple scrambling scared on the floor, and Pan KICKING HIM. I wanna reach into my computer screen and strangle the little *insert rather offensive expletive*. Rumple hasn’t been without his magic to protect him for centuries, and he’s just straight up terrified when he realises he’s lost it, and Pan still has all of his, and GAH, I can’t!!
Well there goes my idea that the green smoke is something to do with WWW coming to town. So if that green smoke IS the NewCurse…what’s with the purple smoke we also see in the promo? Does that come from Regina and her lightening hands somehow?
“Because of their special meaning to you, I’m going to take their lives.” WAAAHHHH?! Is it any wonder that Rumple gets stabby after this?!
So now Rumple’s got the cuff on that blocks his magic. So he’s gonna stab Pan to kill him the old fashioned way instead. Is the dagger’s magic blocked too, along with Rumple’s personal ability to use the magic? How is this magic blocking gonna play into the effect that Pan’s death with have on Rumple?
