It looks as if something very magical happens in that church…I still wonder if belief can save Blue or if they can retrieve her shadow.

That bright light has to have something to do with Blue being resurrected IMO. A church, pixie dust, it’s the perfect setup for a climax to the “belief” theme causing something powerful to happen.

what if… its like the episode turn left in dr who… maybe emma because she is affected by this new curse relives her life if she never gave henry up, when the dr says to her.. its not to late to change your mind.. BAM.. YES, I change my mind, I want to keep him… which in turn means … all the bad things that were meant to unfold if emma never broke the curse happens…but in the mean time theres another reality where the ones who were cursed first go back to FTL an live in an alternate what it… what if regina forgave snow…

That would make the doctor and nurse from the press release fit in, and I do like the idea. Maybe they didn’t mention the flashback because it’s just an alternate present day to parallel with actual present day? All the wacky FTL pics that I think are probably an AU are for 312 though. Maybe 311 shows the AU in our world, and 312 will show the AU in FTL? We’ve gotta work Smee in there somehow though, and Regina’s father, so there must be some FTL and also possibly NL bit in 311.

We’ve seen the promo pics now so we know Keegan is there in a coffin. I think she gets credit in opening for her body being there, even if she has no lines? (don’t quote me on that)

Quite possibly, considering she’s recurring. If there’s a bit part, one time guest star that has no lines, like the lady at the adoption agency who brought baby Henry in for Regina, then they won’t get listed in the press release, but Keegan’s higher ranking than that, even if she’s not a regular. We might also get Blue flashbacks, even if she does stay dead in present day, (which I’m not yet convinced of).

Smee turning back to human in present day would seem like a random reason to go to the trouble of getting the actor back, so I wanna say he’s probably involved in a flashback.

Very curious seeing the doctor and nurse again. Hmmmmm.

Emma didn’t meet up with Neal initially for lunch not just because she’s scared to try again with him and trust him (I think she really is beginning to trust him again btw) but because she’s scared he’s going to be ripped from her again. And she doesn’t know if she could go through losing him for a third time.

Yes! Think I said something similar in the little ship debate I was engaged in in the chat last night. Right now she’s in the mindset that she can’t get the happily ever after, so trying for it is just gonna hurt, because it’s inevitable that it’s not gonna work out.

And if you think about it like that, it’s not completely dissimilar to why Neal didn’t immediately go to SB after getting the postcard. He didn’t believe there was a chance, so he didn’t think it was worth trying, because it’d only cause them more pain.

In trying to push the CS side of the triangle, Hook as a character himself is totally getting lost. Not only that but they’re passing up opportunity to flesh out relationships he could have like with Neal and Tink. Neal and Emma both have plenty of storyline potential outside of their romantic relationship but at the moment CS is the only thing making Hook relevant, when is the last time Hook had a conversation or interaction not related to Emma and I mean that seriously.

Urgh, it’s so seriously disappointing, and I really hope they give Colin some better, more diverse material to work with in the very near future, because it’s kinda sad what his character has been reduced to. He’s freaking Captain Hook, there should be plenty of non-Emma-related storyline they can come up with for him.

And here’s yet another lovely GIF set! I love how much Snowing recognize the love Emma has for Neal is like the love they have – true love.

People like to say that Snowing are trying to force Neal onto Emma because first love is true love, and so there’s no question about it, they belong together, but I think that’s a simplistic interpretation. Yes, they’re advising her to try things with him again, and yes they can sense the love still there, and they’ve had Emma flat out tell them that she never stopped loving the guy. But I think they’re also coming at a place of speaking from experience, because they might be the same age as Emma, but they’ve been through some crap and come out the other side having learned some life lessons, which they’re now trying to pass onto their daughter. We saw that pretty blatantly in the most recent ep, where Snow coming to realisation about embracing the happy moments instead of dwelling on all the bad that can go wrong. Their own relationship has been tested, and has endured, so they believe in Emma’s relationship with Neal passing the test as well. It’s not just some fairytale love mentality, it’s because they’ve lived and learned, and are now trying to teach those things to their daughter, because that’s what parents do.

I understand that the shadow that took Blues shadow was Pan, but my theory is that the shadow that was impersonating Belle and turned Pan into a boy IS blues shadow.

Here’s the one that took Rumple. It’s got the light blue eyes, like the one that took Blue’s shadow.

It is curious that the shadow impersonating Belle had different coloured eyes. Hmmmmm.

And really who can say Emma and Neal don’t need to talk. A lot of stuff about their feelings and past came up in Neverland and even if they never moved forward again romantically, conversations need to be had so they can move forward them a way that allows them to get along and be co-parents to Henry.

OMG they SO need to talk, about SO much!

It’s nice to see that Emma’s parents view Neal as a source of happiness for her. And the best part Emma was going to meet Neal. She was going to go on the ‘date’. When the SF conversation first happened I really didn’t expect Emma to show so the fact that in the end she did intend to come was huge for me.

Notice how when Charming came up to her, she was messing around with her phone. She was probably feeling bad about not having gone, and worried about him being hurt and angry with her, so maybe she should txt him, but what’s she gonna say in a txt, that’s so impersonal, no, she should call him, call him and explain, but really, what would she even say, isn’t that just like going there in person, so what if he gets the wrong idea, and what if he doesn’t understand exactly why she’s not ready, but that doesn’t mean she’ll never be ready, and she’s just scared and confused and doesn’t know how to handle it. So she’s sitting there thinking, “OMG universe please give me a sign of how to handle this,” and then up walks DaddyCharming to boost her confidence.

Also RIP to CaptainFire. They could have had it all. But in all seriousness it’s sad that such a complex relationship has been reduced to having all their interactions centred around Emma. I’m starting to feel that the past, Milah and all that may never come up in the present with these two.

*sigh* For real. Part of me wants to keep the hope alive that a time will come when they are able to address all that stuff, but the more time passes, and the more juvenile Hook acts, the less likely I think it is. I might appreciate that they seem to be writing Hook as a poor option for Emma, but I dislike that in turn, that’s having a detrimental affect on the CaptainFire potential.

PS. Welcome to the thread! 😀

I loved the way he looked down at her as he was stepping off the ship!  That smile he gives her just melts my heart.  Rumple doesn’t smile like that…like…ever.

Can some post screen caps of the scene to see what the shadows look like?

    Shadow that impersonated Belle…

    Shadow that took Blue’s shadow, (there wasn’t a shot of Blue’s shadow’s eyes)…

Something I noticed on re-watch, which might mean nothing, or might mean something…Blue’s shadow was taken really easily. When we saw Neal, Hook, and Henry all having their shadows taken, they resisted for some time. With Blue, her shadow just got yanked right on outta there like she wasn’t even really trying to hold onto it.

Ok to cast the dark curse it’s sacrificing the thing they love most Pan loves himself most so I think that’s gonna come into play here.

Perhaps he’ll try using Felix to cast the NewCurse, thinking it will work, the same way that Regina thought that using her horse would work for her. But it won’t work, because the thing that Pan loves most is himself.

I said this in the promo thread for 311 as well, but I’m wondering if that green smoke might be the coming of the WWW?

About how Cora could maybe play into this Oz speculation…I think I could see WWW being Cora’s sister. Could also be her mother, I suppose, but I don’t really want another storyline where a parent/grandparent doesn’t look the right age, so please don’t make Regina the same age as her grandmother. Some age tweaking would be necessary if she was Regina’s aunt as well, but it wouldn’t be quite as extreme. Either way, they could say that the pendant is what keeps her looking younger than she is, and it’d fill in one of the extra spots on Henry’s family tree we’re supposed to be getting.

Maybe Cora had a younger sister, who got away from the mill, went off to Oz to become a powerful witch, and that played into Cora’s drive to become powerful herself. If Cora was pre-disposed to magical ability at all, then a sister would have been as well.

Haven’t they said they’d love to have Rose McGowan back if the story allowed for it?

So I guess, if Mader is the WWW, and if they wanna go with Oz Witches being sisters, that could potentially make Cora WWE. We know she never had a house dropped on her though, so maybe things just happened differently in the Onceiverse. Maybe Cora did go to Oz at some point, while Regina was very young, maybe around the same time Dorothy was there, and caused some havoc, then left, and left her sister the WWW looking for revenge.

If you wanna bring Eva, owner of the potentially mysterious slippers into it, Xavier introduced her as being “from the Northern Kingdom,” and there is a Good Witch of the North in the Oz mythos…

The Good Witch of the North is a fictional character in the Land of Oz, created by American author L. Frank Baum.[1] She is the elderly and mild-mannered Ruler of the Gillikin Country. Her only significant appearance in Baum’s work is in Chapter 2 of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900), in which she introduces Dorothy to Oz and sends her to meet the Wizard, after placing a protective kiss on her forehead. She makes a brief cameo appearance at Princess Ozma’s birthday party in The Road to Oz (1909), but is otherwise only mentioned elsewhere in the series.

    L. Frank Baum presented her as an extremely kind and gentle character who stood against the oppression and subjugation of people. She became the Ruler of the Gillikin Country in the North after freeing the Gillikins from the clutches of Mombi, the erstwhile Wicked Witch of the North. However, the character’s kindness and magnanimity of spirit was not confined to her own domain, and she was loved not only by her own subjects but also by other people in Oz, such as the Munchkins. Although she wasn’t as powerful as the Wicked Witch of the East and was hence unable to depose her the way she deposed Mombi, the Good Witch of the North was nonetheless exceedingly sensitive to the plight of the enslaved Munchkins, who regarded her as their friend. She also appears as a highly-altered player in Ruth Plumly Thompson’s The Giant Horse of Oz (1928), in which she is called Tattypoo.

Her role was significantly expanded in the 1902 musical extravaganza, in which L. Frank Baum named her Locasta. The character was more famously conflated with that of Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, for the 1939 film version.

“An extremely kind and gentle character who stood against the oppression and subjugation of people,” sounds sort of Eva-ish. I know that she didn’t have any magical ability that would classify her as a “witch”, but she was definitely secretly buddies with Blue, and might have owned magical slippers, so maybe those things could still qualify her to fill the “Good Witch of the North” role.

Then we just need a Glinda from down south somewhere, and that’s all four Oz Witch bases covered.
