Some more ponderings about an AU, (because now it’s stuck in my brain).
If 311 shows the NewCurse happening, then 312 shows the aftermath of the NewCurse, 313 could be a good spot for them to show how it would have been if the OriginalCurse never happened.
If they keep amping up the competition and animosity between Hook and Neal in present day, it could be quite bittersweet if they then go back and show how they could have repaired their relationship instead, if things had gone differently, and Emma didn’t exist as an adult to come between them.
They could have AdultBae casually ask Snow what they’re gonna name the baby, and it’d be a great little contrast to how Rumple demanded to know the baby’s name.
Maybe Rumple’s not there because even though Hook decided to give up the revenge, their relationship is at best tense but civil, purely for Bae’s sake, because he now has good relationships with each of them. So whatever this gathering is, Bae brought his stepmum along, but dad didn’t wanna be there because Hook would be and it’d just be awkward.
I’m not sure how the t-word would fit around Rumbelle, because they met only a few years pre-Curse, but if Bae’s aged to adulthood, that means he’s been back from NL for at least about 15 years or something, and if he’s repaired things with Rumple, then they could have had a parent/child true love moment that broke the Dark One curse, in which case Rumple never made the deal where Belle came to live with him. So I guess they just met some other way, because Rumbelle were always destined to meet, no matter what.
As for Philora being there, if they’re just from a neighbouring kingdom, then it’s perfectly acceptable that maybe they knew of Snowing, and with no Curse to separate them in different worlds, instead they became friends, perhaps their kingdoms traded with each other. We don’t know how long before the Curse Aurora was put under the sleeping curse, so maybe it hasn’t happened yet, OR maybe Philip’s just woken her up. Maybe Philip went to Snowing because they’d become famous for him having saved her from a sleeping curse, and now Philip needed help with the same thing, and that’s how the couples became friends.
Maybe in the AU, Regina did end up meeting Robin, and that contributed to why the Curse never got cast, because she was so much happier in life and had decided it wasn’t worth it to hold onto her anger and destroy Snow’s life.
And now that I’ve decided this would be a super interesting thing that I’d love to see, watch as another spoiler is released that totally debunks the AU theory in 5…4…3…2… 😛

Henry was in the NYC stuff, so it can’t have been a flashback. The only previous time that Hook’s had the opportunity to be in NYC, which would make a flashback for him there possible, was when he went to kill Rumple, but he was wearing his hook then, not the fake hand like in 312. I think the stuff with Emma and Chris Gorham is also present day, because they’ve got her in the same red jacket as the scenes she has with Henry, and if they wanted to differentiate between flashback and present day with Emma, you’d think they’d have dressed her very differently.
Wouldn’t think that they’d have a large part of any ep just be a dream sequence, let alone the first ep back from a 3 month hiatus, when all the viewers are desperate to see what happens next in the story.
I think the “it’s not what you think it is” comments from Adam was just in reference to how he got bombarded by shippers from both sides, all blowing up about CS being in a full on relationship with Neal being completely discarded from the story.
Maybe it’s an AU situation, where Regina never cast the Curse? Maybe Rumple wasn’t even as manipulative to get the Curse cast?
If Regina either wasn’t as evil, or had been imprisoned or killed, then she never would have locked up Belle, which could explain her being there.
Bae never came to our world, instead he went back to FTL and grew up, which means Rumple had no need for the Curse to be cast.
Hook came back from NL, maybe not still hell bent on killing Rumple, considering he’s hanging out with the rest and Belle looks happy, so Rumple’s probably not dead. Maybe his time with Bae affected him in a way that he ended up coming back to FTL to genuinely make up with him.
Snow’s cape seems like it’s probably there to hide her bump, but maybe not, and maybe she’s still pregnant with Emma here.
Anyone spot Jamie in the background of any pic? I looked but still don’t see any evidence that she’s there. Ugh, I need to know where she currently is!!!
She hasn’t tweeted or instgramed anything about going to Vancouver recently.
If this is the result of the new Curse, then it doesn’t add up, because that Curse happens in 311, and in 312, Hook’s very definitely in NYC, and there was rumour of Ginny and Josh having been around the NYC set as well.
But the only way it makes sense for Neal and Hook to be with the rest of them in FTL is if it’s in present day, because they lived a couple hundred years before everyone else, (and Neal was still a child back then), so this can’t be a flashback.
When Snow returned to FTL in S2, she didn’t revert to looking like her old self. I guess if she gets sent back due to a ReverseCurse, then it’d make sense that she reverts to looking like her old self, but that would actually have to be due to a curse thing, not just going through a portal, otherwise it’s inconsistent with S2. And if she actually was in the NYC stuff, then it doesn’t compute that she just popped over to FTL later, post-new-Curse, through a portal and that changed how she looks. And even if the rumour about Snowing being in the NYC stuff isn’t true, Hook was very definitely in NYC, but has still made it back to FTL somehow.
I’m trying to think if we’ve seen Hook in the red vest in present day, but I’m pretty sure he’s only worn that in flashback stuff?
or the theory that the two realms somehow merge
Maybe they’re not even back in FTL, maybe they’re all in SB? But Aurora and Philip are there. I guess if there’s a merge between worlds, everyone still in FTL might get brought over?

Queen Clarion (who goes by the nickname “Queen Ree” in the books) is the queen of Pixie Hollow and the overseer of the four seasons. She has also lived longer than any other fairy or monarch of Pixie Hollow. − − Despite her great wisdom and power, Queen Clarion doesn’t seem to take her queenly royal station too seriously. She is a loving and approachable but can be firm when she has to be. It has also been said that she is mysterious. − − As ruler of Pixie Hollow, Queen Clarion sometimes mediates and helps to settle arguments. In the films, she has the task of making sure the preparations for the seasons are done in a timely manner (with the help of the Ministers of the Seasons). She also greets new arrivals at the Pixie Dust Tree, helps them find their innate magical talent, and gives them an appropriate name suited towards the talent guild that they are now a member of.
Some traits sound rather Blue-ish, but “doesn’t seem to take her queenly royal station too seriously,” sorta blows the theory for me, because Blue takes her position VERY seriously.
Clarion sounds like she could be that “Force Of Nature” character that’s been cast for WL.

Still the writers have made Neal and Emma two peas in a pod. They are culturally from two different worlds now, both experiencing trying to survive in a world so different from their own. They both were abandoned at a young age. Both had foster parents. Both lived on the streets. Both wished on the Blue Star for family. Both would die for Henry, but neither would kill an innocent even an innocent in the employ of a not-so-innocent for him unless absolutely necessary, no other choice scenario. Both would put an innocent at some calculated risk for their son. Both like hot chocolate with cinnamon. Both try to stand up for others who are being bullied (Neal with Whale, Emma with Ashley). Both are generally liked by other people, as oppose to the kind of person who rubs people the wrong way because they say and do mean things to amuse themselves. They never lost complete hope despite all the pain. They are resourceful. They are resilient. They want to forgive, but they don’t trust blindly either. They don’t expect others to do things for them.
*cough*SOULMATES*cough* Seriously though, all that stuff they have in common, the way their stories have been constructed so they have all these shared experiences and traits, there’s no doubt in my mind that they’ve been written that way for a reason.
The truth is I didn’t think I would ship Swanfire but they just won me over with the dynamic of their relationship and story.
Same. I really enjoyed them in Tallahassee, but was worried that if Neal turned out to be Bae, it’d make me roll my eyes and I wouldn’t really be that interested in the ship in the long run. Now freaking look at me. 😆
I think what they’ve shown with Regina is her starting to admit to herself that maybe she could and should “love again” like FrankenDaniel told her to, but I doubt she’d actually seek out that guy who was sitting in the pub all those years ago. If she’s starting to look at her life in a more real way, she likely won’t instantly flip a switch and decide that she deserves to have someone love her again, so I can’t see her setting off on a man finding mission. I hope she has no idea that Robin is the man with the lion tattoo until AFTER she genuinely falls for him. If she knows who he is beforehand, the whole relationship will probably feel more forced and less genuine IMO.
