[adrotate group="5"]We really can’t judge that CS hug pic too accurately. Hook’s totally having a “just let me bury my face in your hair” moment, but we can’t see Emma’s face at all. Her posture kinda sorta maybe looks slightly awkward, like, “OK…so…we’re hugging now?” But it’s just one random still pic, and they often look more awkward than what’s actually happening, so it could be anything.
Their scene in the street seemed like something she wasn’t expecting, and she seemed confused by what he was saying, and it seemed like it was a brief meeting and then she was alone again, and after it happened, it looked like she was reflecting on the moment and smiling. And the forehead kiss is what her father does with her, so it’d be fitting if they showed her son doing it as well.
If it was someone she had actually planned to meet, and/or someone from her past who she hadn’t seen in forever, like a long lost foster brother, I’d expect him to have been there for a longer scene where they actually spent some time catching up, but it seems that she’s left alone again rather quickly.
So AdultHenryHallucination works for me right now, judging on the pics we’ve got. But we’ve only got a handful of still photos and no actual information about the context, so it could end up being anything.
To clarify, I’m not actually suggesting it’s physically time traveling AdultHenry, or rapidly aged AdultHenry, I’m suggesting it’s Emma’s hallucination AdultHenry.
Foster brother is my #2 choice at the moment. For now I’m sticking with AdultHenry. It’s sorta silly, but it’s the hair that’s selling me on the idea. He has Henry hair.
We never got confirmation as to how many eps were ordered, did we? Glad they’re gonna honour their commitment to it.

I read something somewhere (probably tumblr) recently that said that unless a casting call actually specifies that a character is non-white, it’s an automatic assumption that the character will be white, and so anyone of a different race typically won’t even be sent to audition. Sad state of affairs if that’s really the case, but it would suggest that there’s a specific reason they want to cast this role as African-American if they made sure the casting call said it.
Bless the person who posted those photos. We needed the actor’s identity resolved because we won’t see this ep until March, and that long with the fandom left to debate if it had been Hook or Neal would have destroyed us all.

I also like the idea of him being grown up Henry, but only if Emma’s hallucinating because we don’t really need time travel. Depends if those photos are in sequence, but if so, it sorta looks like she’s walking along, he runs up behind her, they stop and have a chat that involves some explanatory hand waving on his part, they hug, he kisses her forehead, then she’s left standing alone, looking down at her hands and then smiles to herself as she reflects on whatever moment just happened. That’d work for a Henry hallucination.
It really could be anything, though.

About the random guy: I said this in chat but, they kept his casting call from us. I suspect he isn’t just “some guy.”
Yeah I was gonna mention that, but you beat me to it. He’s gotta be someone important if they kept the casting call, and news of the actual casting under lock and key.
VCF seems to be dropping hints that he’s got some pics that we probably won’t be too fond of in this thread, so I figured a warning might be in order so folks can brace themselves just in case. Whatever may come, keep the faith! I think this might be the scene that someone tweeted “made me curious about someone,” and please to keep in mind that that person, and another girl who was also tweeting about it, both ship SF and were still tweeting smilie faces, so we should stay as smilie as possible too.

Wonder if the Wraith will still be out to get Regina if the theory about her ending up back in FTL prove true? Mulan could tell Robin & Co how they saved Phillip from it, and then they’ll save Regina from it too, and that’s how RegalHood meet. Perhaps?
