ParticipantJafar is twisted and ballsy. He totally played the most badass sorceress there was, and beat her at her own game. She seduced him so she could use him, but he did the same thing back to her. Props to him because that was no small feat.
I like the idea that his ultimate goal involves bringing back his mother. But would she be proud of what her baby boy has become? Unlikely. Careful what you wish for, Jafar.

ParticipantWhen it cut to the shot of the Darling Bros, I was all, “Don’t you dare cut the scene right now,” and then it kept going and we got to hear them speak and I might have flailed a little bit.
Really interesting that they knew about Ariel coming. They found that out fast. I wonder if Pan is friendly with the mermaids, and one of them eavesdropped on Ariel’s meeting with Rumple and Regina, and then reported to Pan, who immediately got onto the Darling Bros.
Loved the Dwarves’ conversation, and Grumpy being the sole objector, God love him for his unwavering loyalty.

ParticipantAnother cracky twist option that just came to me…
Part of my thinking with the Brothers theory has been that Pan kidnapped their father, to leave Rumple feeling abandoned, (because Rumple was the favoured son, so Pan wanted to make him suffer and steal their father back for himself), and he’s had him prisoner in NL. It’s why I thought he could be a contender for who was in the other cage, but now we know that’s gonna be Wendy, (pretty sure an article somewhere confirmed that?).
So, what if the way Pan imprisoned their father was to merge with him somehow? Maybe he took Daddy’s shadow and attached it to himself? That could explain Pan still having a shadow, but the Shadow also being his, if he’s got two of them. (Rumple did say “Pan” when he saw Belle morph into the Shadow, so I’m thinking it’s likely that the Shadow is actually Pan’s, but we’ve also seen Pan with a shadow attached to himself). It could even explain how perhaps they’ll defeat the Shadow, but Pan will still live, if he and his original shadow are no longer tethered because he got himself a new shadow instead.
So, with the stabbing, perhaps killing Pan is the only way to set their father free of his imprisonment? Papa will die in the process, but it’s the only way to free his tormented soul. Rumple killing Pan, as a means to setting their father free, would actually be an act of compassion, showing that he’s no longer holding the abandonment against his father. Perhaps whatever Neal is looking up at is his grandad’s shadow, or even just his spirit flying away once it’s been set free? (It sorta reminds me of the end of the original Little Mermaid, when she goes to throw herself into the sea to turn to foam and die, but instead her spirit was lifted up with the daughters of the air. Kitswitz would have had Little Mermaid-y stuff in their heads when they were planning this first half of the season.)

ParticipantFrom the angle in the new pic, it does look more like Stephen Lord. I still don’t think the profile shot looks anything like him though. If only we had an actual, fully front on pic of his face. *throws hands up*
Well I’m biased. Being on TeamBrothers since the beginning and all. The brother thing just seemed so much more logical than this regressed aged father thing. If that is indeed what we’re seeing.
I know we theorise some bizarre stuff, and the show does some bizarre stuff, but yeah, I agree. I’d think it’d take more of a convoluted explanation to make Pan into his father, rather than his brother, and convoluted can be awesome, but they also don’t wanna leave the casual viewers scratching their heads over the weirdness, thinking it was too much of a stretch.

That fashion sense, though.
I wonder if the vest is a really aged version of this one…

I’ll bet either Pan or Papastiltskin will be wearing a fresher version of that 311 costume when we see them in 308 flashbacks. Here is another photo of Neal and step-mom Belle.
YES, I noticed that in the wider shot that has Regina, Emma and Henry in it too. Good to see a bigger version of it. Can’t wait to see Neal interacting with Belle.

ParticipantI think Stephen’s nose is longer and pointier, his chin is squarer, and his ears are bigger and the lobes end lower. (No I did not just hold a ruler up to the computer screen to line up ear lobes and nose tips. Except I totally did.)

ParticipantFound a profile pic of Stephen…

ParticipantHe didn’t specify a destination, but given recent spoilers, it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a doctor required for someone at some point.

ParticipantFor an option that refers to the undoing, I’d guess “Come Undone”. For musical reasons.

ParticipantUpon looking more closely, Regina now has the bottle of “whatever it is” when she is on the ground and appears to be showing it to Henry and Emma either before or after she collapses depending on which order the pictures are supposed to be in. So maybe the potion is what keeps Rumple alive after he stabs PP??
Good catch! Here’s the pic where you can see it in her hand…
