I have a feeling that stabbing scene is gonna be brutal, both physically and emotionally. He’s holding him so close, and the tumblr post said he’s gonna stab him “repeatedly” and frankly I’m a little bit happy to know it’s gonna happen so I can be prepared.

One more spoiler Apparently Belle falls to the ground and starts crying very dramatically at some point during this stabbing switching out Pan sequence. She may be aware that Pan’s death means Rumple’s death and that’s the reason she’s so emotional.

ETA that I was having another look at the tumblr page with the full report, and I don’t think this bit was there when slurpeez originally copied and pasted the whole thing earlier in the thread…

[EDIT: I just remembered something important about a recent casting announcement and I have theories – but I can’t for the life of me remember his face enough to confirm! He was, however, a middle-aged man. Let us speculate!]

Not sure how I feel about this PP might be Rumple’s father thing.

Rumple: His name is Peter Pan, I’ve known him since I was a boy. Growing up, we were incredibly close.

That sounds to me like, “We grew up together,” which wouldn’t work if he was his father. Also, Rumple instantly recognised him when he threw back the Pied Piper hood. If Pan was his father, who de-aged after going to NL, how would Rumple instantly recognise him?

Now that we know the double does come in for that scene where he stabs Pan, I think maybe it’s just Pan reverting to being mortal right before he dies and they have a costume change as a way of showing it.

    Just for clarification:

Thanks for posting that! Like I was thinking, two separate things. Folks are dropping like flies for the finale.

But Rumple’s stabbing folks in the street with both Belle and Neal there, so I dunno that their presence would be enough to stop him from killing anyone at this point if he really wants to do it.

But he’s not doing it for kicks. He’s doing it for reasons that aren’t malicious. And they are standing there watching him do it, knowing that it must be done.

Oh agreed! But if Blue’s responsible for helping Pan escape into SB, then that’s a reason she needs to be permanently stopped.

    MAJOR MAJOR SPOILER!

oh snap …. peter had been a naughty pan lol

PP harms Regina, who is on the ground and Henry is crying over her body!

Yowza! We know she can’t die though, because she’s still gotta get with Robin.

He’s got the glowy light on his head, same colour as the glowy light on Belle’s face. They’re totally Skyping!

Oh I’m just thinking Rumple is gonna go on a rampage now. We dunno exactly what was happening at the church, but that’s what the “beloved character dying” thing was in reference to. Beloved character who’d be at a church = Mother Superior. The guy in the pic may be Rumple’s father, but he’s not a beloved character, and I’m still doubting that anything about Pan’s death/funeral would involve a church. So now I’m thinking the church incident and the street incident are totally separate things, and the “beloved character” in the church spoiler is Blue. Rumple’s about the only person who’d wanna kill Blue.

Hm. See I think Blue fakes her death. I don’t think Rumple’s is going to go all crazy. 1) Belle and Neal are there. 2) Headcanon: him killing Pan is the undoing and this leads to the breaking of the DO curse.

I don’t want another fake-out death, so am resisting that Blue theory, even though it’s plausible. We don’t know who was on set at the church, maybe Belle and Neal weren’t there. But Rumple’s stabbing folks in the street with both Belle and Neal there, so I dunno that their presence would be enough to stop him from killing anyone at this point if he really wants to do it.

Crack Theory: What if Peter Pan/Rumple’s father are the same person

Good point! Maybe PP is Rumple’s dad in disguise and Rumple has to stab him twice? E.g. Stab PP first, he turns into Rumple’s dad. The second time Rumple stabs him, his dad actually dies.

Something that dramatic would be able to the only way they could do it without me being really bummed that they’re not brothers. I dunno though, because would the whole costume change if it’s just the person physically reverting to a different form? Even the boots are different. And the spoiler-er is saying it’s his second kill, which makes it sound like two separate kills, not the same person being stabbed twice.

you might wanna go back a page if you haven’t seen the picture/tweet.

I think his other kill will be Sneaky Fairy.

I was posting just before in another thread that perhaps the little box is Pandora’s Box, which Pan will get trapped inside, and maybe Blue is Pandora, and she opens the box (again, because she also did it once before which is how all the evil got out), Pan is set free, and then Rumple kills them both. Kills Blue for having set Pan free, then kills Pan because he’s too dangerous to be left alive.

I wrote this in the other thread, I think he sent Ariel for the box and is going to use it to capture Peter’s shadow. He’ll send Emma and the guys to Dark Hollow to get the shadow and trap it in the box.

I think they might actually trap Pan himself in the box.

Regina: Maybe we can find another way…something to contain him, some other fate.

Pan gets locked in the box. They bring the box back to SB, and then Pan escapes it somehow. Which is how he’s in the middle of Main St in the pics for 311.

    Maybe it’s Pandora’s Box?

Pandora’s box is an artifact in Greek mythology, taken from the myth of Pandora’s creation in Hesiod’s Works and Days. The “box” was actually a large jar given to Pandora (“all-gifted”, “all-giving”), which contained all the evils of the world.

Today the phrase “to open Pandora’s box” means to perform an action that may seem small or innocent, but that turns out to have severe and far-reaching consequences.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora%27s_box
Pan is a Greek god, (not explicitly so on the show, I’m just talking mythologically), so trapping him in a magical box from Greek mythology could be fun.

Ooooohhhh, maybe the opening of Pandora’s Box way back when has something to do with Dark Ones and Shadows and Wraiths being unleashed on the worlds? Rumple acquired the empty box at some point during his career, just in case it would come in handy one day.

In classical Greek mythology, Pandora was the first woman on Earth. Zeus ordered Hephaestus, the god of craftsmanship, to create her, so he did—using water and earth. The gods endowed her with many gifts: Athena clothed her, Aphrodite gave her beauty, and Hermes gave her speech.

When Prometheus stole fire from heaven, Zeus took vengeance by presenting Pandora to Epimetheus, Prometheus’ brother. With her, Pandora was given a beautiful jar – with instructions not to open it under any circumstance. Impelled by her curiosity (given to her by the gods), Pandora opened it, and all evil contained therein escaped and spread over the earth. She hastened to close the container, but the whole contents had escaped, except for one thing that lay at the bottom – the Spirit of Hope named Elpis. Pandora, deeply saddened by what she had done, feared she would have to face Zeus’ wrath, since she had failed her duty; however, Zeus did not punish Pandora, because he knew this would happen.

I may or may not be forming new headcanon that Blue = Pandora.
