4) http://cimrk01.tumblr.com/post/65672668015/in-which-we-have-a-teenage-lost-princess-who-meetsI got a kick out of them because the CS camp likes to claim Tangled as one big parallel to their ship, and these gifs prove that there are plenty of parallels to our ship as well, which just goes to show what I always say about parallels, that there are certain tried, tested, and true story elements that gets used over and over again in every story ever. If you’re looking for them, you’ll find parallels for everything. So they can be fun to notice, but they’re not proof of endgame or anything.

But these gif sets show that there are plenty of parallels between that movie and our ship as well. Which just goes to show what I always say about parallels, that there are certain story elements that are tried, tested, and true, that are used over and over again in every love story ever. So parallels can be fun, but they can hardly be used as proof of endgame.
Oh, OK, people had been posting about Ariel’s bracelet, so I figured that’s what you were talking about as well. Considering that Belle’s bracelet isn’t something that even stands out, I figured it was just a basic accessory for her outfit. If a bracelet is gonna be a big plot point, it’ll be something obvious like Ariel’s. Belle’s bracelet goes with what she’s wearing, Ariel’s does not, it completely clashes, so the fact she’s still wearing it even when she changes the rest of her clothes, means it must have some significance.

I think it’s really funny when people say that Emma and Neal getting back together is a bad idea because it’d be too obvious or something. Yeah, it is obvious they’ll get back together. Why is it obvious? Because they’ve been writing their story since nearly the beginning of the series. There is a reason people guessed Baelfire would be Neal. Because it is tragically poetic. Them being endgame is only obvious because it is written that way.
I just wanna *HUG* you people. Big, squishy, group hug with Neal in the middle.
I get that everyone interprets these characters in their own, subjective way, but so often it seems that people have an agenda when they go out of their way to twist what we’ve actually seen in the show. If someone’s done bad stuff, then yes, judge them on that. But to twist things around so much and turn Neal into a vilified character, when what we have actually seen in the show is him being a selfless, lonely, abandoned victim for most of his life, who has understandable self worth issues as a result, it just makes me SMH. There were posts on the forum recently about how people wanted to see Neal locked up and Rumple having the only way to set him free, and having him just walk away and leave him, and apparently it would be poetic, and it made me so raging mad that I couldn’t even reply. Because yes, the kid who has had a long life full of suffering due in no small part to his father’s actions, which is why he has good cause to not instantly trust him in present day, let’s have his father beat him down and leave him for dead one more time, because that would be so freaking poetic. Or something.
GAH, I need to stop typing before I get out of control ranty right now, but I know I’d just be preaching to the choir. You people get it. You people get Neal. You people don’t think he’s perfect, but recognise that he doesn’t think he’s perfect either, he’s real, he’s flawed, he’s trying to make up for his mistakes, and he is one of the characters who most deserves to finally get their happy ending.
As far as a Neal centric ep, I’ve suspected for a while that 307 might be it, so I’ll be interested to see what the promo for the next ep reveals.

I don’t see the bracelet on her? This pic shows both of her wrists clearly, and she’s not wearing a big, chunky bracelet.
Ariel is the one who is wearing the bracelet in the scenes where Belle has those clothes.
The pic of Ariel having the bag half open while on the beach, I now think is when she’s putting the box into the bag, just before the leaves with it. If you look at the shape of the bag, it looks like it could have the box in it.
I do like the whole “this belonged to his mother” thing. but what if it’s a positive thought, not a negative. Like the doll is his unhappy thought, the music box might be his happy thought if this box is all he has of his mother.
Could be. Maybe Rumple wants to remind Pan of how much he loved his mother, in an effort to have him change his mind about keeping Henry away from his mother(s)?
I’m getting attached to my music box idea, because music box music is creepy sounding, so it’d be really effective for Rumple to just set it off now and then for Pan to hear it. It would be rather eerie and unsettling. And if the theory about their mother having died giving birth to Rumple proves true, and if the music box had belonged to her, hearing it would be something that would totally mess with Pan, the same way the doll messes with Rumple.
This idea depends on the Brothers theory being true, but maybe it’s a family artifact of some description? Pan is using the doll to try and throw Rumple off his game, but maybe Rumple has something that Pan used to own as a boy which he wants to use to turn the tables and mess with his mind a bit in return. An item like that, that Rumple would be emotionally attached to, could explain why he has it when he gets back to SB. Oh, oooo, idea, maybe it’s a music box that belonged to their mother? Could be a nod to Ariel’s mother having had a music box in the sequel Little Mermaid movie.
*sigh* guys… I keep saying this and no one seems to notice. ARIEL IS WEARING A FRIGGIN BRACELET!!! She was holding it in one pic and wearing it in others. That bracelet can easily fit in the box. Does no one else think its important?
I have mentioned the bracelet before, that perhaps it helps her travel between worlds. Though I don’t think she’s wearing it in the scenes with Snow. The bracelet looks to me to be something that Ariel owns, but the box looks like something Rumple owns.
So what if the scene on the beach is when Ariel is returning to NL, not arriving from it, and that box is whatever she came to get.
Considering Rumple’s holding it on the dock, the box and/or what’s inside it must be his.
So is Ariel gonna run into Rumple in NL? Interviews made it sound like she’d probably run into Snow, and that friendship is the reason she helps, but maybe that’s not how it happens? Maybe Rumple tells her that Henry is Snow’s grandson, and so she agrees to help?
As for what’s actually IN the box, we could probably guess ALL the things and still not guess right.
