ParticipantNL being regenerated into a happy, shiny place would fit the title. But, do they have to save Henry in order to make that happen? If they do actually save Henry in Save Henry, then that title is a total spoiler.
Could it be that in 309, they do find him, but he has to choose to go with them or to stay, and the fact that he chooses to stay is what rejuvenates NL. Pan wants him to stay, so if Pan really does want to restore the magic, and Henry has to willingly stay, maybe the magic restoration can’t happen until Henry is present with that choice.
So maybe in 310 they’re trying to find another way to get him back, without destroying NL again, and the only way to do that is to destroy the Shadow.

ParticipantDoes she wear a crown at all in the stage version? Like, does she have one before she gets banished and it’s dramatically taken from her or anything like that? I noticed there’s mention of her wanting the crown in that song. Just asking because the squid on the banner seems to be wearing a crown, but movie Ursula doesn’t have a crown until she temporarily claims Triton’s at the end.
Gods and goddesses are always “terrible” in the sense of, “terrible amount of power, so you just worship them, you don’t defy them, or they won’t hesitate to cut you down.” I’d think that if she was “terrible” in the sense of “consistently doing nasty stuff to everyone” like in the movie, she’d be known as evil, and wouldn’t be worshiped by good folks like Eric.
One thing I’m pretty sure of is that this rules out Regina being Ursula, because it seems Ursula is known to humans as being her own, specific, worship-able entity. A few days ago I posted that perhaps Regina will get to KILL Ursula, so now I have a new thought, (because the 50 frillion different versions of Little Mermaid headcanon I’ve had previously just isn’t enough :-P). Ariel loves Eric, whose kingdom is under the control of Ursula. Ursula’s starting to go off the rails and get dark. So in an effort to help Eric’s kingdom out, Ariel goes to Regina for help in dethroning Ursula, which is the mermaid problem she mentions to Rumple, and both of them help in some way with the destruction of Ursula. With Ursula and her magic destroyed, mermaids can no longer become temporarily human, so Ariel’s been stuck as a mermaid ever since, until she ends up in SB where magic is different and she suddenly finds herself with legs again.

ParticipantShe was in Winners and Losers. She annoyed me.
Her face looks familiar, but I can’t place her specifically with anything I’ve seen off the top of my head.
Perhaps she is Mother Nature
Could be!

Participantshe’s a goddess, so they must worship her
But she’s meant to be evil. And Eric isn’t evil. Of course, she’s not supposed to be nice enough to actually grant mermaids the use of legs on an annual basis. So what exactly is their version of Ursula gonna be like? Maybe all of this is taking place when she wasn’t evil? I’m not really familiar with the stage version, but…
In this version, Ursula is King Triton’s sister. As revealed in the lyrics of Ursula’s song “I Want the Good Times Back”, when their father died, the pair were given equal share of the sea plus two magical items. Triton received the trident while Ursula received the magic Nautilus shell. Though the two were to rule the seas together, Ursula’s greed and use of dark magic to usurp Triton led to her being banished. Her need for revenge is her motivation for the show.

ParticipantWhat an intriguing “character name”. Hmmmm.

ParticipantSo Eric’s kingdom likely has an allegiance to Ursula the sea goddess. Ursula grants mermaids legs once a year. So I’m guessing it probably won’t be a secret from Eric that Ariel’s a mermaid?

ParticipantShe’s definitely wearing pink because it’s a lighter shade of red. I’m just sayin’, they also gave her pink dress some long white sleeves, and Grace’s doll has a pink dress, with long white sleeves. Why does Anastasia not just have pink sleeves to match the rest of her dress, or no sleeves at all? I am suspicious.

ParticipantLooks great, kranen, well done again.
That banner hanging in the background, that thing on it which I assume is gonna be some coat-of-arms something or other…does that look like it could be a black creature with tentacles to anyone else?

ParticipantWhile the media is quick to paint these two men as mere rivals over Emma, Colin has been quick to highlight the fact that Hook has paternal love for Milha’s boy, and I predict that’s going to impact Hook’s decision in reformation.
Yep, the particular type of affection that Hook has for Bae is defined by him being an extension of Milah, the woman he couldn’t give up loving for 300-odd years, and that will HAVE to play on Hook’s mind when it comes to whether or not he really wants to pursue Emma, and in doing so, hurt Milah’s son. This is the sort of stuff we’ve been saying all along, so I like seeing Colin state it for the record. Hook isn’t just gonna stomp on the kid’s feelings and leave them in the gutter because “even now, hundreds of years later, he still sees him as that little boy, and still holds him quite dear.” If Hook does completely disregard Neal’s feelings in present day, then that shows zero character progression for him, but if you look at a couple of Colin’s other statements in that interview, “He was straight-laced and believed in right and wrong,” and “You also begin to see an element of Killian come back into Hook in this episode as well,” that suggests to me that we WILL be seeing some positive progression for Hook’s character. All in all, that interview from Hook/Colin’s point of view seemed to indicate IMO that there’s a good chance that the thing really will end up being a “one time thing.”

ParticipantWay back in S1, I made a crackpot prediction that Grace’s mother would be Sleeping Beauty, based on the completely flimsy evidence that the princess doll of Grace’s was blonde and wore pink, and maybe Jefferson made it in the image of Grace’s mother after they lost her. Reading ScrewballNinja’s latest OUAT essay, they’d included a gif of Regina holding Grace’s doll, and that inspired me to cut and paste this together…

Coincidence? If Anastasia had been with Jefferson, that could explain how she knew about WL, and the Looking Glass. Perhaps she wanted to go there, because he’d told her wonderful stories about it, but he refused to take her. So she left him, and ended up with Will, and convinced him to take her to WL instead. Perhaps?
I don’t think Will and Anastasia were ever married, even though they seemed to love each other. I think that Will Scarlett became the Knave of Hearts in the royal court of WL, and Anastasia became a Lady in Waiting to the Queen of Hearts. Since Cora did not have Regina in her clutches to mold and shape, Cora might’ve fanned the flame in Anastasia’s heart so that power became increasingly more important to her than her love for Will. When Cora left WL for the EF, Anastasia jumped at the opportunity to fill the power vacuum left by the Queen of Heart’s absence. Yet, something happened between her and Will such that Anastasia didn’t want to co-rule with him and she grabbed all the power for herself. Since kings often held the power over their queens then, Anastasia might have been like Queen Elizabeth I, deciding not to marry.
I could definitely see Cora making Anastasia her protege to fill the void that had been left by Regina. Maybe after Cora disappeared, there was a Red vs White battle and that’s how Anastasia, took the throne. Maybe the lust for power changed her in a way that Will didn’t like, and he tried to convince her to give up the fight and leave WL with him, and she refused.
