My biggest question is does this mean that we might get mental images of other people? It could be interesting. Regina talking to Cora, maybe Emma talking to Neal. I think this pretty much opens up all kinds of interesting conversations that might help the rest of the cast heal.

The way they’ve set this up, they could totally expand on it like that. I wonder if the others would need it as badly as Rumple does, though? Even if they’re not exactly getting along, they do still have each other in that group, as opposed to Rumple being completely alone. I think Tink will probably fill that “ghost from the past” role where Regina’s concerned. Maybe Hook would hallucinate Bae, and Emma would hallucinate Neal? That could actually set up his legit entry into NL, if either/or Hook and Emma have “seen” him previously, so they don’t initially believe that he’s the real deal when he really does arrive.

They could dream up any number of things. Whatever it is though, it can’t be able to open a portal all on its own, otherwise Robin wouldn’t still be bumming around in FTL. There’s gotta be another piece to the puzzle that’d make it work.

I’d say that the end justified the means in this case. He knew that Snow could do it, and knew she’d regret it every day of her life if she didn’t, and she’d never be able to live with herself, so he gave her the nudge she needed.

I liked how in the flashbacks they had Charming giving Snow a kick so she could dig deep and be true to herself, and in present day they had Snow giving Emma a kick so she could dig deep and be true to herself.

Perhaps Neverland and Peter’s evil are all part of a bargain gone wrong? I’m wondering if there isn’t a scenario where Rumple made a bargain to have Peter’s shadow seek out Bae (since it could travel to our world) but perhaps Peter twisted that bargain around, thereby creating some of the animosity between them. After all if Peter was the one that caused a deal to go sour, it would explain why he was friendly and cordial and Rumple was furious. Peter lost nothing and has no reason to be mad as he “won” in a bargain against the Dark One.

I do think it’s a distinct possibility that Rumple went looking for Pan’s help in finding a boy in another land. (If Rumple had been taken to NL himself a child, that could explain how Rumple would have known to ask that of Pan.) I also like the idea that Pan agreed to help, then screwed Rumple over, though I don’t think that’d be necessary in order to establish Pan as the dominant one in the relationship. (For me, that’s taken care of if the brothers theory proves true, because Rumple is the younger, resented, bullied brother.) I could also see it that Rumple asked Pan for help, and he refused, which is why Rumple kept pursuing the Curse instead.

Perhaps the young and not-evil Peter was befriended or quasi-adopted by Rumple, or at least trusted. Perhaps this is just after losing Bae, when Rumple wasn’t the hilariously evil baddie we love and know- his trickster persona having not been fully developed yet. If the two met, and Rumple trusted him, it’s possible he may have shared the story of his own upbringing with a still-human-not-yet-immortal-and-evil Peter.

That wouldn’t allow much time for Pan to have been ruling NL though, because it was only about 7 months FTL/OurWorld time between Rumple losing Bae, and Bae ending up in NL, and I got the sense that Pan was WELL established in NL by the time Bae got there.

So I think that Pan also has at least a magical item which he used to cut off his own shadow. It might be another magical dagger with the origin like the dark one’s.

Pan does have a dagger. I was messing around with a screencap of it in Photoshop, but you still can’t really see it that well because the original screencap was so dark. It looks like a straight edged blade, unlike Rumple’s, but it also looks like it might have a pattern etched on the blade, similar to Rumple’s. The lightened up screencap is far from conclusive, but FWIW…

At the moment they are measuring number of tweets. Not sure if that includes new-style retweets, but I guess it does, didn’t find info about that yet; very sure it doesn’t include faving a tweet.

Dunno if the style of RT matters, but I read something the other day from another show’s fandom, letting everyone know how they can get the tweet count up, and it said it only counts tweets originating in the US, but if an international tweet is then RT by someone in the US, that RT will count. I’d guess that other style RTs would probably just count as an original tweet by the RTer?

Even though I was hoping there would be some connection to the real Belle (and we may yet still find out that there is), I loved their interaction!

Ever since those set photos that showed Emilie dressed like she was in the finale, and even down on the docks still, I’ve had it in my head that that’s a device they’re gonna use to show how time passes differently in each land, so even if Rumple’s been in NL for a couple of days now, perhaps only a fraction of a second has passed for Belle. On the one hand, I’d love it if she was doing something on her end as well, because it’d heighten the romance of it all, with them reaching out to each other across time and space. On the other hand, I think it still speaks to the strength of their love and their bond if she’s had enough of an impact on him previously that he’s able to draw on that of his own accord when he’s off on this solitary journey.

You see, Rumple knows exactly what Belle thinks of him, even if he doesn’t understand why and claims not to believe it himself. But the Belle he manifested still came from within him, so perhaps that means that deep, deep down- there is a part of him that thinks she could be right.

    Love this!

First, he’s forcing her to remember painful memories. Those feelings are also ones that will alienate her from her parents, destabilizing the group and her role as leader.

And a side effect of that alienation from her parents is that it plants seeds of doubt in their minds, as well as emotionally crippling Emma herself. It’s like 3 for the price of 1.

I think the second set of promotional photos and taglines adds credence to this idea- as they several are regarding believing a (insert the dark or sad side of a character here) can overcome their personal demons, demons that Pan is going to do his best to use.

In the end, I think we’ll have a situation where many of the characters don’t believe in themselves and are consumed by self doubt- but unlike the beginning of the season, they will start to believe in one another. This unity will be the weapon they use to defeat Pan, who will likely have expected them to crumble.

I could see that happening, with them ultimately starting to believe in each other and work together more effectively. One of my big questions right now though is what does Pan actually hope to achieve with this lot? Sure, he’s broken down plenty of people before, but as far as we know they’ve all been random kids. This time we’re talking about the destined kid in the picture and his family, this is the culmination of a game that started centuries earlier, so I’d think that the stakes would be higher in this case, and perhaps the objective is even different to what Pan’s done before?

309 is when we’re getting the adoption story, so I thought perhaps baby Henry gets sick and Regina gets really worried and takes him to the doctor. Would be interesting to see Regina in clueless-new-mummy-mode.

Pan reveals to Henry why he has brought him to Neverland

Thank the Lord that we’re gonna get an answer to that so soon!

Interesting that Neal’s gonna use something of Robin’s in order to jump between worlds. I’ve been thinking that Robin might leave FTL with him, but didn’t really have a good explanation for why he would, but if he’s using an object of Robin’s to do it, then that would be a good way to get Robin hitching along for the ride.
