ParticipantThat rack of wands does seem to be identical, apart from the blue wand in the shop, which obviously isn’t in the castle.
It’d certainly make sense for Robin to be all, “I have some experience with fairy wands,” and somehow use that to help Neal get to NL.
Oh, new thought, I wonder if the blue wand was used somehow to send pregnant Marian to our world, and so Robin has some specific knowledge that could help with portal via wand?

ParticipantThinking some more about this “blood magic” stuff, I do suspect that it’ll pop up in NL past, in a scene with Rumple and PP, and whatever PP does will be a memory that Rumple draws on later in life when he’s conjuring up some blood magic of his own.
Emma was a teen mother, so what if Rumple was unknowingly a teen father?
It’s an intriguing possibility, but I’m not really on board, mostly because it would mean that PP has been in NL for a lot less time than I’ve been imagining.
If we say that Rumple was 35 – 40ish when Bae was born, then if he was a teen father as well, that was only 20ish years beforehand, and PP is supposed to be 15ish, which means he got to NL only about 5ish years before Bae was born, and had only been there for 20ish years (FTL time) by the time 15 year old Bae arrived in NL too. Even if NL time passes at a faster rate than in FTL, that’s still not a huge amount of time that builds up PP’s reign and power to mythic proportions.
If he’s Rumple’s older brother, and let’s say he went to NL when Rumple was still a baby, then he’s up to 15ish years older than Rumple. Rumple’s age when he became the Dark One is 50ish. Subtract the 15ish age of PP when he left FTL, and you’ve got 35ish years (FTL time) in NL by the time Bae arrives, which is an extra 15 years on the equation in the previous paragraph.
Then if we say that 1 year FTL time = 2 years NL time.
20 years FTL time = 40 years NL time.
35 years FTL time = 70 years NL time.Basically, assuming my math isn’t way off, (which it might be, because math isn’t my thing and the t-word is dangerous), having PP be the older brother, instead of Rumple being his father, would just about double the length of time PP has been controlling NL.

ParticipantA major thing that I think this ship has going for it is that now we’ve seen that Robin’s mind wasn’t altered by Regina casting the Curse. We’ve been there and done that with Regina having a relationship with a guy whose mind she had assumed control over, and that relationship wasn’t genuine or healthy. But Robin’s never been under her influence like that, and I think that’s vital for anyone she’s gonna be able to have a genuine relationship with.
It bugged me a bit when they had Robin saying that he owed Rumple for having spared his life, as opposed to Belle, but I think it might have been a little device they’re using to set him up as someone who is open minded enough to not hold someone’s bad actions against them for forever. Perhaps Robin was referring to how Rumple didn’t just straight up kill him when he caught him stealing? But even if so, the guy was still tied up and tortured a bit, yet he doesn’t seem to hold a lifelong grudge about it, instead he can see the positive side that at least he didn’t get killed. Having that in his character would make him a great match for Regina, who needs to learn a little something about not holding lifelong grudges. At some point she’s gonna have to let go of the vendetta against Snow if she ever wants to be truly happy, and Robin could show her that it’s possible. And that comes back to Daniel’s final words to her to love again. He wanted her to let go of the intense hate and sadness, and move on, and let love in again. And now here’s Robin to help her honour Daniel’s final wish for her.
I’m not an EvilRegal, but the potential for this ship gives me the warm fuzzies for Regina, which really says something about what a strong storyline it could be.

ParticipantThey must be getting SO SICK of being asked about Seb Stan. Like, seriously, how many times have they already answered that question?!
Will we get the history of the fairies?
Horowitz: You will get much more about the fairies.
Kitsis: You will get much more insight into how they are, how they live, what their deal is.SO looking forward to this. Really interested to learn more about the fairies.
Will we get to see more of August (Eion Bailey)?
Horowitz: Maybe.Thank God they gave their really-a-yes answer to that one, because we really need to fill in some info with him, like how he knew what he knew.

ParticipantHis imdb page didn’t list any other current projects for him, (checked that before my previous post, but forgot to mention it).
Jamie’s living in NYC these days.

Participantbut let’s monitor that situation.
This makes us sound so covert spy organisation. THO eat ya heart out. 😆
Seriously though, it seems we might be getting a Camelot reference in 302 with the sword in the stone, so I could see there being another Lancelot appearance. If Neal leaves FTL in 307, maybe we’ll check in with present day FTL one more time in 308. Jamie, Sarah and Julian haven’t tweeted anything about Vancouver though, and you’d think they can’t show Lancelot without showing them, because who else is still around for him to talk to? Unless Robin is still in FTL and doesn’t leave with Neal like some have speculated. Flashbacks this ep should be to the time when Rumple was young, so no space for Lancelot there.

ParticipantIn the first lot, it looks to me like they’re in Jefferson’s house (or wherever it is that Cora kept Jefferson).
YES, hats everywhere! Gonna have to check Hat Trick to see if the room he’s in matches up, or if this could be somewhere he went to live if Cora set him free at some point, (I think she has to have, if he was ever able to have the tea party with Alice). Just looking at these couple of pics, it seems more of an enclosed space than what we saw in Hat Trick.

ParticipantOkay, I have a bit of a dilemma. On Tumblr, I follow a CSer. Don’t know how it happened but she’s probably a Rumbelle fan and she follows me. I know I should just unfollow, but I feel really guilty doing it. But then I do post SwanFire stuff and it seems to only fuel the fire of feuding between the ships. Maybe I should just click “unfollow”.
She also posted and it showed up on my dash a post about how CSers are laughing about how SwanFire fans are latching onto thin air with the 8:15 stuff. They said that Henry’s birth was actually anti-SF. Really, we are the ones grasping at straws? I usually don’t say anything bad about CSers but when it comes onto my dash and I don’t seek it out I have to complain about it somewhere. Occasionally I do get stuff and I hate it because 90% of it is Neal-bashing despite what 90% of CS fans claim they don’t do. So who is actually doing all this bashing then that shows up everywhere? Do your bashing, just don’t come into SwanFire
Urgh, sorry you have to deal with that, Jo. I’m not active on tumblr, I just lurk in certain tags, and you do get Neal-hate popping up in the Neal tag, and anti-SF stuff popping up in the SF tag, and then people claim that they never tag hate, but, ummm, yeah, it totally happens, and makes me wanna *HEADDESK* pretty much daily.
In your position, Jo, I’d unfollow, because you don’t want that negative crap invading your personal dash.

ParticipantI like the idea that his heart must be given up willingly. Perhaps they’ll tie that into how PP came to his position as well, because traditionally, it was his choice to stay with the fairies and become who he became. Would it sort of negate the power of the heart of the truest believer if the heart had to be taken by force? Because if it’s taken by force, that means that the owner of it doesn’t want to give it up, doesn’t believe that giving it up is the right thing to do, which means it doesn’t really possess true belief in the cause. So if the heart must be 100% true, I’d think it has to be given freely.
