How good would it be if that woman who was with PeasantRumple turned out to be Milah though? I know it won’t be so I shouldn’t get my hopes up, but now I’m daydreaming about Rumple introducing his wife Milah and, “we must get home to our son, Baelfire”, and Emma having the “WAIT UP my bf’s ex was Neal’s mother WHAT EVEN” moment. Then in a later ep have Emma confront Killy Poo about it. Urgh, but I shouldn’t #hope, because as if they’d ever address it, and even if they did, they’d probably have Emma get over him having kept it from her and the grossness of it, and that’d just make me mad(der).

    *SIGH*

Also, if Emma goes to the past and meets peasent Rump…. She probably meets Young Bae and Mila!!!!

Stop saying things that make me feel things! 😛

Seriously though, I dunno how they could bring back Dylan and have him playing Bae at that age again. It was barely believable the last time they had him back, and I’m sure he’s had several growth spurts since then.

PeasantRumple mentioning Bae to Emma would be lovely, (maybe Rumple shows compassion for the crazy lady who is obviously going through a thing, invites her to come to his place for some food, he and his son Bae don’t have much but he wants to help, would fit nicely with how he invited Zoso in), but I won’t hold my breath. Milah being mentioned and/or seen is something I’d like to see Emma learn about, but I don’t think they’d bother.

Do you guys think Camelot was the original plan for 4A before Frozen came along?

    Quote

Don’t recall exactly when it was (but I wanna say it was about a year ago?) but the guy who plays Lancelot mentioned in an interview that he’d be back. Then I think it was shortly after that that A&E were asked about it and they said he wouldn’t be back soon? I remember thinking at the time that they must have had Lancelot/Camelot plans that had changed, otherwise why would the actor have mentioned it if he hadn’t been contacted about availability to come back.

Though I agree with RG, because I’d also suspected the way they introduced Elsa could have been an altered version of how they’d planned to introduce Jafar for the 4A arc.

Weird. I mean, I get it, but they could have left some part of her eyes at least.

If her eyes were still visible it’d look even more like a poorman’s copy of the Black Swan movie poster. 😛

As far as the hair goes, I think they really didn’t have much of a choice but to tie it all back in a bun if they want to differentiate this Emma from the Emma we’ve usually seen. In SB she’s always had her hair down and flowy, so Not!Emma has not a wispy strand in sight.

It also works for me on the uninhibited level because having it all tied back tight means there’s nothing for her face to hide behind. Personally, as someone who’s introverted, I don’t like having my hair pulled back because it means my face is 100% out there, and I’m just not that bold, so I’m more comfortable with my hair down and in close to my face as a shield of sorts. Dark One is totally bold, Dark One doesn’t wanna hide its face from the world at all.

Having it down and kinda wild could give her that mythical beast air about her, but IMO having all her hair out of the way is a “look at me and my power” sort of a statement.

The simplest way to make an “evil” look yet keep it “Emma” would be to take her red jacket combo and make that black

I think that’s what they’ve attempted to do. It still a leather jacket like she usually wears, but it’s all tight around her to symbolise how the Dark One Curse has enveloped and trapped her. That works in theory, but the jacket they came up with is a blah and uninspired design.

    Roxette:

If only she actually looked like she were Dressed For Success.

but hopefully in the end Emma realizes the only one who saves Emma is Emma.

Do we dare to dream? It would fit quite nicely and make a lot of sense, even to the extent of validating how Rumple chose himself over the TLK that was about to break the Curse, if ultimately it was Emma’s love for herself that gives her the ultimate power to abolish the Dark One Curse forever. She’s supposed to be made of the strongest magic there is, and her fixing this herself would reinforce that. I really hope (*twitch*) they don’t solve this particular Curse with a TLK. The alternative could be a valuable story to tell, that loving yourself and having the belief that you can conquer anything if you have that belief, is the most powerful thing of all.

When I first read this, it smacked of “Black Fairy” to me, the thing they dropped in, but didn’t have a concrete plan to follow up on. The way it’s worded, with the article writer saying it’s not in “at least the first five episodes” (I guess they were told that’s all that’s been outlined in detail at this point?), and then them giving a vague, “at some point this season,” coupled with the swift way they tend to dispose of guest cast members within about half a season…I’m now doubting that Lily’s father will have anything to do with Camelot. (Though the Pendragon thing would be a major missed opportunity.)

I don’t mind the hair and makeup. Makes her look washed out and harsh.

Not a fan of that jacket though, (apart from the collar, which is kinda cool). It looks cheap, like a relic from the 80s they found at an op-shop. Maybe it’s just because Rumple’s costume was so lush and decadent and textured, that this one is so plain and underwhelming to me by comparison? They shoulda made it out of leather textured to look like feathers (Crocodile had scales, Dark Swan should have plumage). Given it a few pops of dark red highlights, maybe. Something to bring it to life and add some variation to the overall look so it’s not just flat black and more flat black and more flat black.

I mean you say that like the writers couldn’t easily get around that with a wave of their hand. Suddenly Camelot is frozen in time and Arthur never ages but sent his young sons Killian and Liam off to live in a land with time! (see, problem solved)

    Don’t give them ideas! 😛

If they wanna make them related, I’d rather they just make Hook his great great grandad or something, he had a one night stand with a barmaid a couple centuries ago, and a few generations later, Arthur’s his descendant.

Though I confess it hadn’t even occurred to me that he looked at all like Colin until I saw other people mentioning it. My first thought was that I remembered him from 24, and wondered if he’ll be playing similar traits again as Arthur, (he was a terrorist in 24, brainwashed into being bad by his psycho mother, he wasn’t quite as blindly committed to the cause as she was, but he wasn’t strong willed enough to really stand up to her).

but I’m wondering whether or not Nyssa is pregnant by Oliver in Arrow.

Not a chance. That would mean they’d be turning Oliver into a rapist, and that ain’t happening.
