It looks like the rack of wands in Gold’s shop during the dream sequence. Did we see the rack of wands in the shop at any other time that wasn’t a dream sequence? I’m hoping not, otherwise that’s gonna bug me because they shouldn’t have been in both worlds at once. Unless he has so many wands that he needed two racks.

That happened the day before the wedding. I think Regina’s meeting with Tink was earlier that same day, before her conversation with her father.

Saw a couple of tumblr posts about the photos for Castle sucking as well, but haven’t tried to look them up. Also a common comment on tumblr is that Once has one of the most attractive casts on TV right now, so it takes some seriously special skill to have made them look that bad.
I get that they’re all working hard to get the first batch of eps shot and completed, but really, would one day off for a proper photo shoot have screwed up the shooting schedule that bad? Make it on a Sunday, I’m guessing they probably don’t usually shoot on Sundays anyway? They’ve already got the indoor jungle set up for shooting the show, I’m guessing that’s what they used for the group pic set, so why not just take all the pics there with the jungle backdrop while they were at it?
In some of the solo shots, you can see the actual edge of whatever mat thing they’re standing on, which I’m guessing is supposed to look like dirt, next to a puddle of water that they’re being reflected in. It’s actually just a black mat of some type, lying over the top of a mirror. You can see the edge of the mat really clearly in some shots. The whole setup was so cheap. You can also tell that it’s a totally fake backdrop that just met the floor. Maybe that’s why they tried to blur it so much, to make it look less obviously a fake backdrop? But seriously, if they original backdrop looked fake, why not just get a stock image of some jungle and Photoshop that in instead? Rocks and logs around the bottom of the trees and hey presto, it’d all blend into the fake dirt mat they’re standing on quite effectively.
Is that the same location at the Regina/Tink pic? The building looks sorta the same, just without all the flowers that are on it in the Regina/Tink pic.
What if being a mermaid is a curse, remember the curse of the mermaids thing? Maybe Ariel was turned into a mermaid in FTL and banished to NL and the only way to break the curse was to *drum roll* get TRUE LOVE’S KISS!
That would most definitely turn the whole story on its head if mermaids aren’t actually born, they’re just cursed, former humans, (fits with evil being made, not born). I wonder if it might be too big of a twist, though? It’d eliminate Ariel’s sisters as potential characters, and also her parents. And Rumple had that trident, which makes me think that we’re likely to get Sea King Triton. And a major part of Ariel’s characterisation is her longing to get out of the ocean to explore the human world. That gets eliminated if she starts out human and is only in the different world of the ocean because she gets cursed into it. The wording of the article is very curious, I just dunno if they’d switch it up that much.
Or maybe who ever wrote the article just had a brain fart and accidentally wrote “mermaid” instead of “human”?

Well, Meghan was in LA working on her other show at the time, so I wouldn’t be expecting to see Red. They’ll probably have a line about her being off scouting the area, to take out any surprise attackers, or something like that. We’ve seen them send her off as a scout when they were getting ready to attack George’s castle, so it’s plausible they’re using her similarly in this new situation.
Seriously, if they’re too lazy to do proper promo photos, they should just collect a bunch of stock images, release them to the public, and turn it into a fanart competition. They’d end up with the most effective and appropriate promo pics.

I was just reading an article on a web from the photography website PetaPixel. The article quotes a photographer who posted the following on Reddit:
They were probably taken in a huge hurry by the IATSE set photographer (I’ve been that guy). Their official job is to shoot set stills but often the publicity department will try to wrangle him into shooting gallery stills for them.
It’s great when you have time to set it up and prepare properly (the photographer gets a pay bump for doing portraits) but way too often it’s done on the side of the set on an impromptu green screen with no lighting allowed (it’s a working set, additional lighting would interfere and flashes are strictly forbidden). It’s almost always done at the end of the day when the actor is tired and grumpy.
That was one theory. It’s interesting hearing the insight of people who work in the industry and what actually happens behind the scenes.
I have a feeling we won’t get new photos. They’ll wait until mid-season hiatus to redo them.
It just baffles me that they’d skimp so much on official photos to promote the new season of one of their most popular shows. Like, it makes no sense to not do this stuff properly! Set aside one full day for a proper photo session. Where are the other photos from the group photo session? Surely they didn’t take just that one? Same goes for the pics in their solo shoots. Surely there’s at least one shot of each character that would be acceptable? Or did they just line them all up, BAM, BAM, BAM, everyone file past and get one photo taken and those are the ones we’ve already seen? I find it hard to believe that they could have been THAT slack.
I’m imagining Ginny calling out “Werk iiiiiiiiit,” and then Colin giving her that face.

Looking at it a bit bigger, looks like Charming still has modern clothing, he’s just got his sword strapped on, which makes him look more fairytale.
