Someone asked VCF if he had pics of Emilie, and he said no. Which is a bugger, because I’d love to know which costume she’s in so we can figure out how Belle fits into the Ariel ep. For now I’m gonna guess that it’s FTL flashback, just because Regina kidnapping Belle lines up with the timing of Regina mentioning the mermaid (we assume is Ariel) to Rumple.

…the guy who tweeted it is a director of photography on OUAT. I’m guessing leaf lady’s job is to fish out any leaves that might threaten to float into shot, or something like that? Anyway, they’re shooting near water.[adrotate group="5"]Does look like it–when it’s come up before, most thought it would go to Gold’s shop, so Belle might use it, but now that we know its in the Dark Castle, it seems like it has to come into play!
I also wondered before about this, as the crystal ball is an Oz reference, and there’s an awful lot of green in Neal’s apartment. Now that we know he is NOT PP….what if he also has a connection to Oz or is about to have a connection to Oz? Oz of course having the famous Emerald City. The portal’s are green too, of course, maybe that’s all the production team was thinking by going so heavy on the green. It just was so much I don’t think it was entirely random.
I’m honestly surprised that an object like that didn’t end up in Gold’s shop. Guess they just needed it to stay in FTL for plot purposes. 😉 For now I’m gonna stick with my crack theory about the Wizard and Dorothy being part of THO, and that’s why we’re getting an Oz related object brought back into the story, probably not long after Neal’s told MAP how Tamara shot him, and not long before we’re gonna see more with THO back in our world, both in present day, and in flashback.
New theory- it’s a communication orb. Neal and RH are going to get back to Storybrooke to Belle. Belle is going to use the orb to communicate with Rumple in Neverland. Belle’s image will appear in Neverland to Rumple but she will be like a hologram so no touching. Think Tenth Doctor saying goodbye to Rose in Doomsday. The Whovians of this board will know what I mean.
The “ethereal” Rumbelle moment is in 302 though, and I can’t see Neal getting back to SB and becoming BFFs with Belle (who he so far only knows as Lacey) that quickly.
what if they do speak to belle and belle asks robin to take care of neal that will repay his favor to her by making sure neal stays safe?
Could be. Wonder if a crystal ball is the kinda thing that just anyone can operate, or if it takes some special, magical skill to switch it on?
Question: If Hook cannot be Ariel’s son because it takes uniqueness away from Emma and Charmings, why is that not an issue for Tamara an RH? Is it that we are so sure she dies?
For me, it’s the fact that Tamara’s story went all wrong, and yes, I’m assuming she’s gonna end up dead, along with Marian. At the start of a story like that, we’d have the contrast of on one side, baby Emma having to come to our world without her mother, and on the other side, baby Tamara getting to come to our world with her mother. Then the consequences in both of their stories were completely different. Emma becomes strong and independent and eventually has her family reunited and becomes a hero, while Tamara becomes weak willed and brainwashed, loses her family completely, becomes a villain, and dies for her crimes. Basically, the way I look at it, it’d make Tamara a perfect opposite to Emma, as opposed to them being similar. Could even be why they cast Tamara as a black woman, to play up their opposite-ness in a visual sense, considering Emma is both white and blonde. And having them both romantically linked with Neal, just connects it all up quite nicely.
If they have our Ariel so much as hum the melody of that song for 2 seconds, I might die a little over how awesome it is. At the very least, I hope we get the iconic shot of her up the rock in there somehow.
Like I said in the chat, I think if they just have one flashback before the title card, they can still basically classify it as an ap without flashbacks.
That vid is so beautifully done. Considering they haven’t even had a massive amount of screen time together, it says something about how strong their story is that every vid made about them tears me apart. Especially if they include the portal scene. Because OMG!
No Marian listed though. Which isn’t necessarily conclusive evidence that she’s not around at all, because there are surely Merry Men around as well, and they’re also not credited for this ep either, but may be for a later one. I’m just saying, it seems they’re re-introducing Robin solo.
The shot of him with his bow drawn makes me think he’s snooping around the castle, looking for something magical to help with something or other, when Neal and Mulan show up, (I guess Mulan knows where Rumple used to live, because Neal surely doesn’t). I think he was searching for a way to make a portal out of FTL to get to the land without magic where Marian went pre-Curse, and when Neal turns up looking for the same thing, Robin teams up with them.
Yes, RG, you may absolutely say that! Can’t wait to see him fighting to find a way back to her!
The day we were in chat and discovered color, we certainly acted that way.
😆 Yeah, Emma’s not quite that enthusiastic when it comes to magic. I’m thinking she and Neal can find some common ground on the issue.
Also, what does this mean for Regina’s new love interest? We thought it would be RH but he’s in FTL not SB and it doesn’t seem like he has any interaction with her.
I still reckon Robin and Regina will eventually end up in the same world. Like I said in my previous post, it’s especially likely if Neal finds a way back to our world and Robin wants to come too, to find his long lost Marian and their child. So Robin ends up in SB, which is where Regina will end up as well, after they save Henry.
