If Ariel does end up being Regina’s mermaid problem though, that suggests that she and her family are from FTL, not NL. Though that doesn’t necessarily rule out both lands having populations of merpeople.

Maybe considering they dropped the Jafar and Ariel bombshells at Comic-Con, they decided to save PP and Tink bombshells for D23?

I’m starting to wonder if there will actually be merpeople in NL, or if Ariel is just an isolated case? If Hook had pre-NL experience with mermaids, his comments still fit, even if he’s encountered no mermaids actually in NL. But then, Eddy did say in an interview that NL has mermaids, so maybe there will be a whole bunch of them…or maybe it was just his way of saying that yes, Ariel will be in NL for sure. I just really can’t wait to see their take on mermaids!
I really don’t think Marian is alive. And not from a potential RegalHood ship (so help me, Phee, if I end up shipping that….). But, oh man, do I want her to be Tamara’s mother. I podcasted with Daniel the night Lacey aired and when I suggested it, a lot of people were like, “lol, RG. no. That’s not right, not all black people are related.” I want very much to do a victory dance.
I’ve become quite attached to the theory of them having been Tamara’s parents. What is Belle likely to be doing in SB…putting up the cloaking spell to keep more of THO out for starters. What if it doesn’t work, (likely, because we need drama in SB)? Someone like RH would likely step up to help defend the town if need be, and that would tie him into Belle’s storyline. They may want to show some sort of personal investment for him when it comes to fighting THO, (otherwise they’d just have Granny and her crossbow stepping up, instead of involving a new character that needs development), even if it’s something he’s not yet aware of himself. So they could have “Grandma” show up and be all, “Ah yes, Robin Hood, I knew your wife…and your daughter.”
Well, they just may not be up to shooting any Robin/Marian stuff yet, so neither of them are in town. But if they were just living happily together in SB, would there be a need for him to be brought back at all? He’s gotta have some sorta story. Hopefully Sean will tweet when he’s actually in Vancouver, and then we can check up on Christie again too.

Belle insisted that Rumple had good in him to RH who couldn’t really see it. Then Rumbelle fell in love.
There aren’t many people who see good in Regina (she is our other major villain). So maybe RH is the one who can see the good in her. And only Belle understands what RH is fighting for!
I’d sorta love that, not just from the ship perspective, but because there’d be someone else who understands where Belle is really coming from with loving Rumple.
Any news on the woman who played Marian? Anyone stalking her on twitter? Any tweets from Vancouver? It would be nice to get an APB on her whereabouts to determine if she’s going to make an appearance or not.
