I reckon they didn’t receive orders to kidnap Henry to NL until the very last moment, so they wouldn’t have time to stop and even consider questioning their orders. The fact that these magic haters went and used an “unholy” bean and willingly jumped into an “unholy” portal just shows how brainwashed they are that they’ll do whatever they’re told.

But didn’t Adam strike down the rumor that Belle wouldn’t appear in the first few episodes? I know Storybrooke isn’t going to be featured, but he seemed adamant in tweets that she was going to on the show and to just watch.
He said “way before” ep 5. Which doesn’t indicate how much we’ll be seeing of her, just that she’ll at least appear in an early ep. They also said at CC that the beginning of the season would focus on the NL crew, and SB would tie in a bit later.
They’d likely be done shooting whatever the first ep was by now, wouldn’t they? Would suggest that they did indeed shoot ep2 first? Especially if MAP are only just now back in town, and CC interviews said that ep1 would be showing both NL and FTL.
Reckon pretty much everyone does! We’ve all been waiting and hoping to see her pretty much since the show began. No pressure for whoever gets cast. 😉

Hmmm…I’m inclined to think already in SB. With a 4 ep minimum and storyline with Belle already confirmed, you’d think he’d have to already be wherever she is for said story to play out.
His casting call had implied he’d be in ep1, but unless he snuck into Vancouver and has already shot something before they announced his casting, he won’t be in ep1.

British actor Sean Maguire will suit of for a multiple episode arc on Once Upon a Time’s third season, E! News has confirmed. Maguire will be replacing Robin Hood in the Belle-centric storylines due to the fact that the original actor, Tom Elis, is currently unavailable to return as a recurring character.
“Although we love Tom Ellis, unfortunately he wasn’t available,” series co-creator Adam Horowitz tells TVLine, who first reported the news. “We remain huge fans of his, but because we have an arc planned for the character, we had to move forward.”
Robin Hood only appeared in one episode last season, yet he still managed to stir up quite a a lot of trouble in the Enchanted Forest and instantly nabbed himself a spot on Rumplestilskin’s (Robert Carlyle) hit list. So far, we know that Maguire will be appearing in season three for at least a four-episode arc and he is set to reaffirm his alliance with Belle’s Emilie De Ravin.
Looks like RH is gonna be in SB, then?
