ParticipantDon’t bless me, bless the person who wrote it, (even if they get QoH and RQ confused).
And now we know why the comments coming out of the Panel said that Alice was badass. Girlfriend was throwing down and snapping badguy necks?!
So…Knave and Rabbit are in Granny’s, then go to find Alice…but when they bust her out, that’s set back in the 1900s, right? So, when “they rush out of SB” is that back down the hole in the Diner floor so they can hop through time?
Knave’s story is supposed to involve FTL, so I guess that’s how he ended up in SB?

ParticipantWas just posting something in the Hookriel thread about Neal coming out of the portal and had a revelation…that will be the “little flashback”. No MAP necessary if they were just filming Neal falling through the portal and landing on the beach. Then they can cut to the JR falling through its portal and coming out in NL.

ParticipantWhen they roll him over, there’s a closeup that gets his face, hair, coat and scarf all in the shot, and none of it looks wet. With that heavy clothing, if it was drenched from him landing in the water, it wouldn’t look dry like that if he’d been lying front down on the sand for however long. But I don’t think he was lying there for long anyway, I reckon MAP probably heard something when the portal dumped him there, and they went to investigate straight away.

ParticipantDon’t think he landed at the Lake though. Safe Haven was in the background, so I think it was more like he was on a coastline next to the ocean?

ParticipantThat makes me wonder something: What did Regina plan to do with JUST Henry alive in FTL? She didn’t know about MAP surviving, so did she think it would be just the two of them forever? Maybe she did. I guess she doesn’t think these things out–or maybe that leads into the inspiration behind Bates Motel or something within the OUAT versions 😉
😆 Seriously though, it’s a good question. Maybe she did hear about other people being there if she found out details of Snow and Emma’s adventures? But even so, she’d only think there were 3 people there, so the place wouldn’t be that much fun to live in. I’m willing to chalk it up to Regina not having thought it through properly, because that’s how she rolls, acts on impulse before thinking things through completely.
I don’t think so she did. She brings up her mermaid problem in Skin Deep, so that’s at least a few years before Snow and Charming get married in the pilot. And we know she didn’t get the idea for the Curse until the wedding day when Rumple told her about “other lands.” Right? Man, I really need to rewatch the Cricket Game. Keb, help a girl out if you see this.
I think that’s right, was gonna say the same thing before seeing your post.

ParticipantGood suggestions, KFC!

ParticipantI definitely prefer if Ariel isn’t trying to drown Emma –but I guess there’s more drama that way.
I’m just imagining a brief, non-serious drowning attempt. Like, they’re all standing around near the water’s edge, and Ariel witnesses Hook say something sweet and/or suggestive to Emma, so she accidentally on purpose trips, bumps into Emma, and pulls her into the water with her and tries to hold her under for a moment to send the message “Game on, Swan, back off my pirate,” while Emma’s fighting back and flailing, and Hook’s just looking and laughing because hot girls fighting in the water is hot, then Snowing freak out, and Hook’s all, “That’s enough, ladies,” and Ariel grudgingly lets Emma go while giving the, “Pfft, I was only trying to drown her,” eyeroll. 😛
Krannen suggested in another thread maybe the reason Neal is on the beach is Ariel is in FTL (wasn’t taken by the curse I guess?) and she saved him, in a somewhat parallel to how she saved Prince Eric.
Yeah, like I said in that other thread, Neal doesn’t look wet to me in that scene, so I think he just landed on the beach, as opposed to in the water.

ParticipantSo fun! 😆 Do you have a bigger version of the pic?

ParticipantWe’re all expecting her to be in Neverland or possibly Storybrooke after that teaser. But what if she’s actually in the EF? What if she is the one who pulled Neal to shore to save him drowning like she did to Prince Eric in the movie. Once she saw MAP coming, she ran away.
Have seen that suggested in a couple different places since the finale. To me though, it doesn’t look like he’s wet. His clothes, face, hair, all look dry IMO, so I think he just landed on the beach, not in the water.
I reckon they had him land on the beach purely so they could show the Safe Haven in the background to quickly establish where he was…of course, then they left that prop rock there and everyone debated if he was in NL…so that sorta backfired if it’s what they were aiming for.
It would also make sense if she is in FTL to tie in with what Regina said in ‘Skin Deep’ about her mermaid problem and Rumple’s story about the Ink.
My current thinking on the Ariel/Regina connection is in a rambling post in the Hookriel thread. Haven’t worked that ink into my headcanon yet though.

ParticipantLOL That’s fun! There’s a little vid out there somewhere with Hook and Jefferson set to Thrift Shop and it fits perfectly because, well, their coats, seriously. 😉
*searches madly for the vid* (same language warning applies as in KCF’s post)
