[adrotate group="5"]Now I’ve got this little scene playing out in my head where Ariel tries to drown Emma, and Hook’s there chuckling away, and Snowing are all, “OMG what are you doing to our daughter?!” and Ariel just gives them this little look that says, “Geez, I was only trying to drown her.” š
Still like the idea I had previously about Ariel and Emma ending up as gal pals, but it’d be fun if this was how their relationship started out.Ā Then when the truth eventually comes out that Ariel’s been wanting to be with Killian for 300-odd years, Emma will be all, “Well no wonder you tried to drown me that time.”
Was lurking around tumblr just before and saw someone had posted about Colin’s comment from CC that, “With Hook it could be anyone’s daughter,” and this person had added, “Like, Triton’s daughter?”Ā But we dunno exactly how much they’ve each been told about what’s happening this season, and in interviews the impression was that they don’t know much, so I doubt he was actually dropping a hint with that comment, but I still got a kick out of that tumblr post.Ā š
Belle and Bae know about Milah so there is opportunity for Emma to find out about Milah from someone other than Hook.
Yeah, but I was thinking about the possibility for Emma finding out while in NL, which would require someone on the boat knowing, but Regina and Snowing have no idea, right?Ā Do they even know that the Hook/Rumple centuries old vendetta is about a woman at all?Ā I could see Emma having that conversation with Hook after a tense moment on the boat between him and Rumple…
Emma: So what exactly do you guys have against each other, anyway?

Emma: And what did you do to make him take your hand?

Emma: *remembering his tattoo* Milah?Ā She was Rumple’s wife?Ā Wait up, she was Neal’s mom?!At the CC Panel, didn’t Colin say, “Well we did share a drink recently,” or maybe JMo said it, I’m sure one of them did.Ā Anyway, maybe he was referring to a scene like this that they’re gonna have on the boat after arriving in NL?
Also, YES to wishing we knew about that cut scene! Though in a way I think it worked well the way it happened, where they were able to have Neal drop hints about knowing how to sail a pirate ship and then showing us that flashback at the end of the season to elaborate on it. They wouldn’t have been able to avoid a straight up reveal of how they knew each other if Hook had been conscious and speaking in NYC.
I’d consider seeing the boat coming out of the portal to be “picking up right where we left off”, which is what everyone has been saying will happen.Ā Actually, we might see the boat IN the portal before it comes out, which would be fun!Ā So the “flashback” would be to something else.Ā And it would actually be kinda cool if S3 matched S2 by starting with a brief Neal scene.

I actually like that Snow is ānormal.ā It makes her a real person, rather than this perfect person all the time. I mean she must want to scream when she has to be positive and nice all the time. I can also see how Snow is selfish. She wants her family to be together no matter what the consequences are for everyone around them. It makes sense for GG to describe her like that.
Agreed.Ā She’s this archetype of the “perfectly good” person, but that inevitably leads to her being imperfect.Ā Because really, there’s no such thing as “perfect” we just have to strive to do the best we can for ourselves and for others, even if that means having faults.

As in, they’re two separate shots of the same sentence, so it’s literally the exact same C as written on the board?
I think it’s basically that Cora screwed her up.Ā She never had that close mother/child relationship with Cora, and then she had a step-daughter who she hated forced on her, so she became fixated on having a child she could love the way she’d always wished her mother had loved her.
I agree that giving her a long lost bio-child would feel too much like they were trying to give her a Henry replacement.Ā It could be a good twist if she’d found out she was pregnant after Daniel died, but then she miscarried, though.Ā Something like that could fuel her desperation in wanting to have a child.
