ParticipantThere aren’t 6 months missing before he arrived in England. He came out of the portal in Kensington Gardens in London, lived on the streets of London for 6 months, then found the Darling house.
If I were gonna ask anything in relation to that situation, I’d ask them why the bloody hell Neal told Emma that this world wasn’t his first stop when it apparently was?!

ParticipantWas just watching the 2nd part of that before. He is so seriously adorable, especially with the comment about the eyeliner and leather pants. LOL He just seems like such a sweet, humble, regular, shy guy. 🙂 Colin is like the anti-Hook. Which goes to show what a great actor he is.
Can we please talk about his accent?
His accent is to die for! I’m glad he doesn’t have it in the show though, because he sounds so friendly and un-threatening with the softspoken Irish accent, and that really wouldn’t work for Hook.

ParticipantIt was all I could do to not elaborate on my question about Blue and be all, “Like, does she know Tink, and if so does that mean she’s connected to PP, because then that would sort of make her an accomplice in Henry’s kidnapping if she’s been helping PP’s plan all along by being SNEAKY in FTL, and if so, what might she be up to in present day now, especially if more people from THO show up, because if they work for PP and she works for PP, then she’d maybe work with them instead of against them and SB might be in some serious danger because Blue is really nefarious after all isn’t she, just tell me nooooowwww?!”
But I behaved and kept my question simpler than that.

ParticipantI tweeted him several a few hours ago. Bet none of mine get picked though, because I’m essentially just begging for spoilers. 😛
Asked about the probability of FrankenWolf if they can schedule Meghan to appear. The probability of Ariel after the mentions of mermaids, and if she could possibly be connected to Hook in some way. If we’ll learn more about THO, how it was formed and who else is part of it. If Neal would be running into any more magical characters to help him get out of FTL. And whether we’ll get any back story on BF and can she please have some juicy secrets to make her more than just a plot device.

ParticipantLove that she calls Josh and Ginny mom and dad. They are all so stinking cute! 😆

ParticipantI like this. Question though, prince from where? FTL? Or another land? Maybe like..Denmark. *cough*Eric*cough*
I saw some talk on tumblr recently about one of Killian’s rings having a flower on it, and people were matching it up to Emma’s tattoo. The ring flower had 6 petals though, and Emma’s tatt matches the flower on the King George/Snowing family crest, which has 5. So I concocted a little idea that Killian’s ring is a family heirloom, and the flower on the crest used to have 6 petals, but after whatever happened to get him and his parents cut off from the family, they changed it to a 5 petal flower instead.
Or, ya know, the costume department just thought it was a cool looking ring. 😛

ParticipantI’ll be very interested to see how many fan theories pan out about Hook. My personal headcanon is that he’s a lost prince and this adopted father, Davy Jones, never told him who he truly was.
I’m thinking along similar lines. Or alternately, his father was an excommunicated prince with people out to kill him, and ran away with Killian when he was very young to save their lives, and changed their name to Jones so no one could find them. Then one day something major went down that Killian has no knowledge of, and that something major is what caused his father to leave and how the legend of Davy Jones was born.
PotC At World’s End was on here last night, and I was getting so distracted wondering how they’re gonna tie in Davy Jones on OUAT that I actually tweeted Adam about it. Honestly think I’ll be a bit disappointed if it turns out there’s no connection to Killian at all. You don’t give a sailor with a mysterious past the last name of Jones if he’s not connected to the infamous Davy.
Killian’s backstory is something I’m really looking forward to seeing.
ETA that I hate how it buggers up the code and posts weird if you try to quote two people at the same time. BAH!

ParticipantHenry may have shown a passing interest in a couple of girls, but he’s just a kid who hasn’t even been on a first date yet, so he could still go either way. It really could provide for an interesting storyline.
Perhaps Gepetto and Archie could get something going since they have been life long companions. Cricketto anyone?
I could totally ship Cricketto. They’ve been through a lot together and are already close, so I’d buy it if they got romantic. Think Marco may have mentioned having had a wife at some point, back in the Pilot, maybe? That was his cursed self talking though, so maybe the curse made him think he was straight to ensure he didn’t find a love that would make him happy?

ParticipantPersonally, if there is a gay/lesbian couple on the show I’d prefer it to be a major one. Repunzel for instance typically just has a prince (Flynn I think is specific to the newest movie) so they could make her love interest a woman easily. The issues is that taking a major couple and making one of the parties an opposite gender (like I suggested with Aladdin and Jasmine) is a pretty big deviation. Let’s face it: it has to serve the story, not just people who are demanding a gay/lesbian couple. The story comes first.
Flynn Rider sorta became instantly iconic though. I’ve wondered if they’ll even have Rapunzel on the show at all, just because Tangled is SO recent and well known that showing any deviation from it on OUAT might be a bit jarring?
In a previous post I tossed around the idea of Henry being gay, and I think he’d actually be a good choice. He’s significant and powerful, we don’t know exactly to what extent yet because we haven’t seen why PP wants him, but the fact is, he’s special, strong, and one of the show’s heroes, (even if he annoys you, you’ve gotta admit that he’s vital to the story, and was a driving force in the curse breaking). If they showed someone like him coming to the realisation of being gay, he could be a great, positive, strong role model for other kids going through the same thing. He’s a hero fairytale prince. Hero fairytale princes aren’t typically gay. It’d turn the whole stereotype on its head and they could easily do it believably because Henry is still discovering who he is in life and has no pre-conceived story of who people expect him to end up with. I just dunno that they’d be planning to do anything with Henry in the sense of dating in the next season or two, and there’s no guarantee of how many seasons the show will run for, so if they plan to have a gay character in the near future, he’s probably not a realistic option. If he were a bit older, like 17ish, then maybe it’d be more likely?

ParticipantIt seems people are determining their entire sexual identities on a little actual information. We simply don’t know enough. Emma is completely based on one relationship that she had when she was 17 and that she ‘dated’ – that could mean anything, man or woman. Regina is based on one relationship she had when she was a girl, and her trysts with Graham.
When someone’s writing a TV show, they need to establish who the characters are. Everything they do is to give us an insight into who they are, what their major traits are, etc. If they were intending for one or both of them to be lesbians (or bi), I would think that there would have been some obvious foreshadowing of it. Instead, they have only shown both of them having relationships with men.
They could have written Regina’s backstory having her fall in love with one of the household’s maids, but instead they chose a man who worked in their stables. They could have shown Emma checking out Ruby in her hotpants instead of kissing on Sheriff hotpants. Or hell, they coulda made Nealfire a girl instead.
They’ve given us no hints that either of them are anything but straight, and with all the character development they’ve each had over two seasons, if either of them was gonna be attracted to women, I just reckon we’d have seen foreshadowing of it by now. The fact that we haven’t seen anything suggesting it means that if they suddenly sprung that twist on us, I’d find it fake. I’d consider it something they were doing in a lame attempt to be politically correct by inexplicably altering these characters they’ve gone to great lengths to establish thus far. And altering characters like that just for the sake of having gay characters is not how gay characters should be done. Frankly, it’d be a tad disrespectful.
Making the hero, or even the major villain, of their show gay would be a big deal, just because of the stigma society attaches to it, (not saying the stigma is right, but like it or not, it exists). It’s not an issue they’d treat lightly, and if it was their ultimate intention, I really believe they’d have been laying obvious groundwork for it since day one. One of the main writers on the show is Jane Espenson, the creator and writer of a webseries about a married gay couple. So they have the knowhow on the writing staff to have laid the groundwork for SQ in a convincing way if that was their intention.
As for the issue of Regina killing Emmas mother? Well, on this show that sort of thing isn’t really a problem is it? – all the characters are incredibly messed up.
Indeed they are messed up and that’s what makes them so compelling. For each character who has done something wrong, there will be fans who sympathise with their point of view, (but you’ll also generally find that a fan of any given character won’t just automatically excuse all of their actions).
A good many fans think that Regina was 1000% wrong to ever blame Snow, and all of this crap that’s gone down between them, all the people who have died or been hurt because of Regina’s vendetta, was completely avoidable if only Regina had stopped for 5 minutes to realise she shouldn’t blame an innocent child for her life going to hell. If you have that mindset, then yeah, the fact that Regina tried to kill Emma’s mum is a huge deal, and not something you could imagine Emma forgiving and forgetting to be able to see Regina in a romantic light.
