So would it count if Belle busts him out of the basement? Would it count as him now giving her 3 wishes?

Am guessing they won’t be able to have him around indefinitely, so his part will probably only be in one or two eps, which should be just long enough for him to grant a few wishes.
I could see him maybe not wanting to help unless it’s to get Regina back. But I could see SBers wanting to use his magic to protect the town from THO.

I’m missing something too, (though for the record, I’d vote for Charming getting seasick).
Well remember in the finale everyone but Hook was holding onto ropes cause the ship was rocking. Maybe that means this episode picks up right where they left off and they had to do some more holding onto the ropes.
Yeah that’s the first thing that came to my mind too. Maybe they spent half the day filming reaction shots with everyone holding on as the ship went through the portal and came out the other side? Could explain the indoor set for the ship if they wanted something they could rig with hydraulics to jolt around.
I can just see all the sailing n00bs trying to hold on for dear life as the ship goes flying around, and Hook’s there just holding on with his one hand like a boss. 😉
Was so excited when I saw the tweet about this just before! Honestly never really expected them to get him back for another appearance!
I briefly considered that he may just be in flashback, but I think with a return this major, it would be sort of a let down to only see him in flashback. Also, the scheduling probably took some doing to work it out if he’s also still shooting Revolution, and I can’t necessarily see them going to such effort for just a few flashback scenes.
Does this mean Belle is breaking Sydney out of the basement!? Also, think about this: he is a genie in a land with magic. He can do lots of things to protect the town and he knows all of Regina’s secrets!
With Regina suddenly out of town, I can totally see them wanting to pick Sidney’s brain. Question is, would he be willing to cooperate? If he’s still been locked up in the basement, no clue what’s been going on in town, and then they go to get him and tell him that his beloved Regina is gone, would he even be in the mood to help?
How many people even know he’s down there, apart from the Nurse? The only way Belle would really know is if she saw his name on the door on her way out, and maybe someone mentions him in present day and she’s like, “Wait, what did you say his name was?” Then they can go looking for him. Perhaps?
Also, just throwing it out there…OUATinWL has a genie as a main character, and there’s meant to be crossover with SB of some kind.
Yes, in FL if he had the power then why would he need the last wish? He is a Genie and a Genie wouldn’t need wishes to give him power he could just do anything especially since he was free.
The purpose of a genie’s magic is to use it to fulfill the wishes of others, they can’t just go around doing any type of magic any time for any reason. He was only able to use a wish himself, to be with Regina forever, because Leopold used his 2nd wish to give his 3rd wish to the Genie to use. I would imagine that in SB, he’d have his magic back and would be able to use it to help, as long as someone wished him to do so. That could actually play into what I said before, if he’s acting like he doesn’t want to cooperate with people who he knows as being against Regina. Maybe they’ll just be able to wish for him to do stuff, and he’ll be bound to comply.

Yeah, he’s mentioned Love Child in some recent tweets too. He’s also mentioned plans to go to the US, though not Canada, but it does suggest he’s interested in international jobs.

Yeah, if it’s legit, there’s really no way to misinterpret the tweet. Like I said, I dunno why anyone would make a hoax tweet using an unknown actor. But who knows. Maybe he did have a short trip to Vancouver just for prep stuff, but he won’t be needed for shooting immediately, so he’s come back to work on another project in the meantime?
I’m just gonna sit here and twiddle my thumbs and bash my head into the desk until we get a casting announcement for PP.
I’m probably just over analyzing this though. But I also wonder what would have made this person take a screenshot before replying?
Oh we’re all about over analysis here, it’s just how we roll. 😉 As for the screencapping, I’d guess they just got excited and wanted to post it on their tumblr page, so they hit the print screen button as soon as they saw it? It’s a fair point you make about the formatting he seems to usually use with his tweets though. We shall (hopefully) soon see.
PS. I love that we’re even stalking the makeup crew. LOL
Phee, you’re my favorite person right now! How many other shows besides OUAT are shooting Neverland scenes in Vancouver? Ryan must be affiliated with the show, and he’s totally on my list now for potential PP! I think I might faint from joy right now. 🙂
LOL You’re welcome. That tumblr page I linked to is the only place I’ve seen the mysterious tweet mentioned. So either it’s legit and he deleted it really quickly before anyone else saw it because he wasn’t supposed to spill the beans…or it’s a fake. But it’s pretty random for someone to have faked a tweet from a largely unknown Aussie actor implying he’s gonna be a character in NL on OUAT. If I was gonna fake something like that to try and start a rumour, I’d use an internationally recognisable big name actor.
So, who knows. Just gotta sit back and wait for official word either way.

So I’m not the only one who has been stalking him since that mysterious tweet? Good to know. When I saw that he was currently shooting, I about flipped.
Lord no, you’re not alone! I immediately started pondering the different interpretations of it and whether “busy shooting” could technically also include, “costume fittings, promo photos and table reads for my new show.” Or if he really has been working on something completely unrelated. LOL
I’m hoping someone gets a photo of a mysterious guy around set. Surely we’ll see Peter this episode. Surely they would have cast him by now. I WANT TO KNOW WHO HE IS ALREADY!!! GAH.
For real! That guy, Ryan Corr, who apparently sent a tweet about NL being ready for him and OUAT before promptly deleting it, he finally tweeted again 12 hours ago and said to someone “I’m just busy shooting at the moment”. So who knows if he’s still an option or not. Whoever it is, I wanna knooooowww.
I think we’ll see PP in the very last moment of the episode. I can just imagine it: GOAT stumble through the woods to some sort of tree house, they enter and there is a boy/man sitting on a throne type chair (in my head, PP thinks very highly of himself). GOAT tells the man that they have what he seeks and thrust over Henry. Henry demands to know where he is and who the man is. The man smiles (creepily) and says, “My name’s Peter. And I’ve been waiting a very long time for you.” CUE MUSIC! *rocks self* September yet?
