Bae having the heart of a “true survivor” sounds like a really good guess. Also, it somewhat foreshadows his son, Henry, having the heart of a “true believer“.

I reckon that “true survivor” will be Bae. He’ll trust Tink because he thinks she’s a helpful fairy like Blue. But Tink will actually be manipulating him and lying to him.
Maybe it’s just because I’ve been disappointed that Sneaky Fairy hasn’t yet been confirmed as being sneaky, but I hope Tink is totally devious.
The comment was about how the officer that arrests Emma says possession of stolen goods, and how Emma really went to jail for her own crime. Schmacky responded that Emma’s point of view was that it looked like he’d framed and manipulated her. I agree that is how Emma thought about it for years, but she had to rethink everything when she heard more of Neal’s story. Its not like she was some innocent kid who he swept off her feet, knocked her up, then framed her for his crime so he could get away. She would have risked jail for him if she thought it would help them be together.
This is so true.
Also, another point, I’m sure that when they arrested Emma, they would have questioned her about anyone else being involved. If so, she didn’t give him up. Even when she was thinking that he’d set her up to take the fall, she still didn’t turn him in. She may have been mad as hell at him, totally heartbroken by what she believed he’d done…but she still kept quiet and protected him, because despite it all, she still loved him.
Now, there are people who would argue that he should have turned himself in anyway to save her. I’m one of the ones who argues that he had been given reasons by August that made him believe that there was only one action he was able to take, and that was to leave her.

It negates the argument that Neal could have stayed with her and she still could have fulfilled her destiny to break the curse. She needed to have had her belief in love broken, otherwise true love couldn’t have been sparked in her, and that’s what was necessary to break the curse and save everyone.
Anyway, getting back to my other point…basically, Neal can’t shoulder all the blame for Emma being the only one of them who went to jail. She knew his name, she knew his last location, she could tell them what kind of very distinct car he was driving. She could have told them that he might make for Tallahassee. She could have easily helped the cops catch him, and then he would have done the time, and she maybe wouldn’t have done as much time.
So at the end of the day, all things considered, from the fact that she was a willing accomplice in the crime, (hell it was even her idea and insistence to get herself neck deep involved in it), to the fact that she didn’t give him up, you really can’t just hate on Neal for having screwed up her life by sending her to jail.
Eddy and Adam are in a pickle. With three (and more) groups of shippers fighting over who is best for her, when they finally do pair Emma with someone they’re going to have so many people firing off. “What about the parallels?” “I feel lied to and betrayed!” “You just hate same-sex couples”. Tumblr will go mad and fangirls all over will be threatening to quit the show. Doesn’t really matter who they pick for her, either. This is going to be the result. What fun, what fun!
They’re seriously damned if they do and damned if they don’t. I say we blame the shipping wars on JMo. If she didn’t have the ability to instantly generate mad chemistry with anyone she shares a scene with, we really wouldn’t have this problem. 😛

There was a thread a little while back discussing potential characters Regina could be paired up with. One of the characters mentioned was Robin Hood, (this was before we’d seen him in the show), and I sorta liked it, and lately I’ve been thinking about it some more…and I still like it.
Of course, it all hinges on whether or not he’s even still alive in present day, and if Marian is still with him. I’ve been on board with the theory that pregnant Marian came to our world, had Tamara, and died though. That theory is all just speculation, not based on anything concrete, so it may not prove true, but unless and until we get something to disprove it, I’m liking it. The recent casting call info suggests they’re re-casting RH, so it’s looking like we’ll be seeing him again in some significant capacity, otherwise they could have just stuck a brand new character in there, instead of going to the trouble of re-casting a character whose story they’ve already begun to tell.
So going along with the assumption that RH is alive somewhere and single, I think they could be a good match.
Regina first and foremost needs someone who would be a good influence on her, (which is why I don’t ship HookedQueen, because they’re both broken and would drag each other down and he wouldn’t be able to give her the kind of support and encouragement she needs. It may be hot, but it wouldn’t be healthy). RH is a man who will be ruthless if need be, but he does so with good intentions, he does so to help people. So he and Regina would share the mindset of “sometimes you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do and wield your power”, but he could help her see that there’s a positively motivated way to go about that. She’d benefit from learning that, because right now she’s just baffled as to why all of her power doesn’t bring her happiness or get her what she wants. It’s because she’s using it wrong. She’s never gonna look to the Charmings as an example to follow in how to wield power, so someone else who has a good heart will have to be the one to show her if she’s ever gonna listen.
We’ve seen RH use magic to heal Marian and their unborn child. So it’s looking like he understands the need to use magic sometimes. Regina’s never gonna be able to give up magic. I know she’s been likened to an alcoholic, and I don’t disagree with that description, but Regina ain’t never gonna give up the bottle completely. If she’s with RH, he’d likely understand the need for magic to be used in certain situations, because he’s been there and done that, so he wouldn’t be all judgy if she didn’t give it up completely.
If the theory about him being Tamara’s long lost baby daddy ends up proving true, they have the parental thing to bond over. He never got to be a father to his daughter, and she’s got a strained relationship with her son.
It’s been hinted at that RH came from another forest, maybe somewhere in FTL completely separate from Snow and Regina’s kingdom. That could mean that he didn’t spend his life constantly hearing about the Evil Queen and how horrible she was, which means he wouldn’t have necessarily pre-judged her. It’s likely that Snow spent time with RH, judging by what she said to disguisedRegina in The Evil Queen. Also, judging by what Snow said to disguisedRegina in that ep, it’s not likely that she’d have ranted on to RH about her evil step mother. She’d have given the same story about a kind hearted lady who once saved her life and has sadly gone down the wrong path, but Snow hopes there’s still a chance for her. If that’s all that RH has heard of Regina thus far, I reckon he’d be willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and get to know her if they met in present day for the first time.
Anyway, in my head, Regina and RH are pretty much a perfect match. Now watch them show him living happily with Marian in present day and destroying the headcanon I’ve got going on. 😛

Sounds pretty much like the Hook we know and love! I reckon it’d be fun to see Hook attempting to screw over Tink. He’d do his flirty thing and she’d do a sassy thing and it would be awesome and suddenly people are shipping Took. 😉
Showed up in London or showed up at the Darlings? I thought it was the former but maybe I’m wrong.

Don’t think it was ever mentioned how long it’s been in London. All the boys in NL may not be from London, or even all from our world, if PP has only had a pic to go on and no other specifics.
Didn’t the Shadow only start visiting the Darlings around the same time Bae showed up?
I’m working on the assumption that all the kids stuck in NL are ones PP ended up collecting in the trial and error of finding the one in the picture.
Also, we have no real proof that those communications actually happened, or if it was just stuff set up by Regina to get annoying people to try and leave town and have something horrible happen to them.
We don’t know how many shadows he’s ripped though. Before describing the ripping, Felix says, “Do you know what he does to people who lie to him?” That suggests that it’s only something he does to certain people, not everyone he holds captive.
He may be holding them all captive simply because if hoards of young boys are allowed to go home and talk about this magical Shadow that flew them away to a place called NL to see if they were the boy in a picture who a creepy guy called PP was looking for, someone in our world might start paying attention and try to investigate the claims. One or two kids saying it here and there would go unnoticed, but a whole bunch of kids with exactly the same story…slightly more conspicuous…and PP doesn’t want anyone interfering with his plans to find the right boy.
What if, in order to get Hook out of NL and stop being a plague to PP, PP had Tink offer Hook information on Rumple, specifically: Belle. Tink, who has been traveling back and forth between worlds, learned of Rumple’s TL with Belle and told PP. We still don’t know how Hook learned of Belle and that Regina was holding her captive. PP could have offered to tell Hook vital information about getting revenge on Rumple in exchange for getting Hook out of NL.
I like that! Had been toying with the idea what maybe Maleficent coughed up the info to spite her frenemy, but having Tink tell him would be a great twist too.
But what I don’t understand, if PP wanted Henry to be born, by letting Neal go, why PP wants to kill Henry? As what Felix said in 2×22, that Bea was lucky to stay alive. I assume they want kill Henry.
At the moment I’m sorta liking the theory that PP wants to take Henry’s heart. If Felix has never seen that done before, and all he knows is that the boy is gonna have his heart ripped out, then it’s a reasonable thing for him to imply that the boy in the pic is gonna die. It could be a cool storyline if PP puts Henry’s heart into his own body, and then they have to figure out a way to defeat PP without just killing him, because if he dies, Henry dies too.
