I’m not sure whether to laugh or cry because that’s probably exactly why they named the ep that.
[adrotate group="5"]August might be sticking around a little longer than we thought, or he’s at least in the AU. I admit, it would be interesting to see a what if scenario where Pinocchio was never separated from his father, and grew naturally in FTL.
I’d rather see more of him in present day. But if he’s in the AU, I have to wonder if the WoodenSwan fandom could get some scenes that’ll make their heads explode. Assuming that Emma will still exist in the AU, they may want to show who she ended up with in that version of the story, and Pinnochio is pretty much the only candidate if they want it to be a character we know, who’d be around Emma’s age, and they probably would have grown up together and been very close.
Although Jafar has not appeared in the season 4, it could well appear in season 5. Perhaps the presence of Will in the series will be a prelude to his return. If we are lucky maybe Jafar will appear as cliffhanger finale.
The Diamond Edition of Aladdin is being released in Oct, so it will be a shock if Jafar, Aladdin and Jasmine aren’t in S5.
The Diamond Edition of 101 Dalmations came out in Feb and the one released a few months before that was Sleeping Beauty. Ariel showed up on the show around the same time as The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition was released. There’s no question that higher ups at Disney have a hand in who appears on this show and when, so get ready to say hello to Jafar again soon.
The scene seemed pretty straightforward to me.
Henry saw the light coming from the door and found the key, (which I must admit was pretty cool, despite how random it was that he was sitting where he was). He found the key and slipped it into his pocket just in time before the others saw (because convenient timing is convenient). Then he handed over the page, knowing that he had to play along in order to protect himself and his mother, but also knowing she would do her utmost to undermine the badguys while only pretending to work with them, (her threatening the others was a sign to Henry that she was still on his side despite what was happening). And he was able to hand the page over because he knew it’d do them no good because he had the key, which they don’t even know they need.
I’m glad Henry’s finally getting something to do.

For real! Last night I wrote fic to rectify the death of Deadshot on Arrow, because I need him to not be dead. Only other time in my life I wrote fic was when I had to have Neal’s death rectified. Never get attached to TV characters, it will bring you only pain! GAH!
(At least in the case of Deadshot most of the fandom agree he’s totally not really dead. But the flipside of the argument is they were probably made to kill him off by DC who don’t want Arrow’s Deadshot around because they’re having a different Deadshot played by Will Smith in the upcoming movie. Stupid higher ups at a studio dictating a character death, now where have I heard that before?!)
but most likely GOS will be picked, since was one of the most wanted pilot of the season, all networks wanted it, and even comes with a huge penalty attach, that if NBC doesnt pick the show, will have to pay a huge compensation to the production companies, in fact even the 1st 13 epis of the show( that appears if is hit can have more epis) are alreay planned.
All of that bodes well, so I hope the show ends up being a big success for all involved! *FINGERS CROSSED*

Or just fun little ships, where the girl is a legit deluded, obsessive and fickle stalker, and the guy is jaded and cynical and frankly weirded out by the girl, and he saves her life, and they share delightful sass, for the one episode they’re in together…then he gets blown up at the end of the ep and you wanna flip tables because they would have been so dysfunctionally fun to keep watching interact.

And if Snowing took Maleficent’s babe, I wonder why she was so chill later on. She said she “soldiered on”. Hmmm.
I’ve been having issues reconciling Zen!Maleficent with the Maleficent we’ve seen in this season. But I think Zen!Maleficent would be before these baby stealing flashbacks, because didn’t Regina get the Curse from her immediately after she’d crashed the wedding, and the baby stealing happened after their honeymoon?
Very good points…but can anyone imagine a mortal Rumpelstilskin for Season 5?
Mortal!Rumple in present day is a thing I’ve been wanting to see for ages. That would be an actually interesting arc for his character development, seeing him being forced to give up magic completely, having no prospect of getting it back, and seeing how he’d handle it, how he’d redefine himself, what choices he’d make, what his new role as a functioning human being would be. That’s a thing I’d very much like to see, (whether or not the writers would do it justice is another argument).
Could Belle even take Rumple back…
Honestly, the only way I think I’d be even remotely OK with it is if he DID go through the character development of being mortal and changing, and proving himself to be changed over a period of time, and having them slowly work their way back together, (again, whether or not the writers would do that is another argument). But let’s be real here, they’re Beauty and the Beast, those characters are a classic couple, so they’re gonna reconcile someway, somehow, probably sooner rather than later, whether it’s in a healthy way or not.
You mean the family show that killed the main kid’s father, showed drugs being shot up, and made penis jokes in the most recent episode?
Yup, that #familyshow. 😛 Even though they’ve done all that other stuff though, I still feel like Emma walking up to Rumple and stabbing him through the heart is a place they would be unlikely to go, because really, how do you then bring your big SAVIOUR!HERO back from first degree murder?
Oh, please don’t applaud me on that. Many of you know my opinions on this. But it’s how I think it will come to pass.
Though the writers don’t seem to care about ticking off the RumBelle shippers – so it wouldn’t be beyond them to take that TLK moment that almost but not quite happened in Skin Deep and give it to another couple instead for the BIG MOMENT where it actually works – for the sake of Disney and also original fairytale consistency, I think if there’s gonna be a TLK undoing the Dark One Curse moment, it should be between Belle and the Beast. In both of those other versions of the story, the Beast is on the verge of death and Belle’s love saves him.
Rather than Emma stabbing him, I could see her backing out of doing it, (hopefully because of Henry, because like I said, to mirror the parent/son situation whereby Rumple stabbed Zoso), and in a moment of desperation and frustration, Rumple grabs the Dagger and stabs himself, then along comes Belle to sob over him as he dies, and he comes back to life as a mortal. It would just fit with how the Beauty and the Beast story traditionally plays out, and it’s a major part of the story, and Rumple is always the one who has been our “Beast”, so they should be the two characters who get that Curse breaking moment.
(Of course, I have issues with all that because I don’t think Belle should still love Rumple after what they’ve had him do, but for the sake of fairytale consistency, they’re gonna end up reconciling somehow.)
Makes a lot of sense that this would be his goal. Torturing August could just be another part of him trying to get Emma mad at him.
Would he succeed though? Would they (#familyshow) show Emma Swan actually stab her son’s grandfather to death? Rumple killing Zoso is seen as a cowardly move, a huge moment of weakness, would they show the show’s big hero falling all the way from grace to make the same mistake their big antagonist did? I’d think it more likely that she’d come close, but would stop at the last moment due to something Henry does, and in doing so it’s a big ole’ mirror of the situation where Rumple did the thing because of his son.
