Everything with Hook and Bae was amazing. Hadn’t expected them to cover so much, with Bae discovering who Hook was and how his father killed his mother. It’s stuff I’d been really, super eager to see, and it was fabulous and emotional and worth the wait.

No lie, when that happened, as soon as Emma put her hands out and their powers joined together…my computer shat itself and rebooted…like it just couldn’t handle it. It was like my computer was a SwanQueen shipper and it just had to flail. 😆

I’m very sad to see Belle get left behind too…

I’m just thankful she was given an assignment…that means she has something to do and hopefully that means she will still be involved somehow. I love RumBelle, but my real concern is that Belle herself will drift out of the show. That would be heartbreaking to me. I can deal with Rumple and Belle being separated as long as Belle still has a place in the story.

My hope is that by separating them it will give them the chance to develop Belle as her own character. Many people complain that she’s only there to be Rumple’s girlfriend. Well, the position she’s in now, if she’s gonna be doing stuff, she’ll be doing it as an independent character, not as one half of a couple.

If outsiders, like THO, do manage to find SB and invade, Belle will be front and centre in the attempt to defend SB. If anything happens to SB, if they all get run out of town, then that will make it even harder for Rumple to find her again, so she’ll defend that town with everything she has if anyone comes to threaten it.

As long as they go in a direction like this, with them using the opportunity to expand her character without Rumple around, it will make the separation easier to bear for me. I really didn’t think they’d split them up, so was shocked when it happened, but I have to believe that there’s a method to their madness, and if their reasoning is to make Belle a stronger character in her own right, then that would make me happy in the long run, even though I’m currently sad that Rumbelle are separated.

I suspect that if there’s anyone we won’t see much of in the first part of next season, it will be Nealfire in FTL, rather than Belle in SB. There’s something major going on in NL, so it would make sense to have that land, past and present, be a focus. If we’re seeing stuff that’s related to THO in NL, which is likely, given that GOAT took Henry there, then it would also make sense to show SB as THO encroaches there too. So I think if any land gets put on the backburner in the immediate future, it’ll be FTL.

I really loved that moment in the episode where Rumple questioned Plot Device Fairy. When the dwarves got the potion, he was all like, What? Why now? And Grumpy was so quick to defend, saying “She’s been working on it all along.” I think that the BF’s convenient magical successes and failures will be addressed next season. Can anyone say ulterior motives?

OMG I really hope we get some BF backstory that shows that there is actually something more to her! I want her to end up being diabolical, instead of a plot-device. Totally rolled my eyes over her having made the potion that popped up at just the right time, but on the plus side, it gave us Dwarves invading Gold’s shop to get their stuff back, it gave us a callback to Belle and Grumpy being old friends, and it led to the return of Chip. So it wasn’t all bad.

In the midst of all the speculation about Tamara, people were also wondering about Grandma in the photo. They could have had Tamara give the Dragon any object, but they had her hand over a photo in particular. Something that revealed someone else’s face. Someone who Tamara is obviously emotionally connected to.

Now that we’ve learned more about Tamara, it seems like her first priority in life is the cause. She spent all that time living a fake life with Nealfire, going so far as to get engaged to him, that’s the level of dedication she has to this cause. She lives for it. I don’t see someone like her being overly sentimental about people. But she was sentimental about the woman in that photo. Which I think means that Grandma has to have a link to Tamara’s cause.

If so, then I think that reveal will have to be this season. It loses its impact if the season ends and then everyone goes away for the long hiatus. Casual viewers have probably already forgotten about that photo. So if they’re gonna bring it back into play, it really needs to be this season. So if that photo was planted for a reason, I reckon we’ll be seeing her face again in the finale.

I love MRJ more and more with every interview I read from him. He seems like SUCH a nice, genuine guy who obviously loves this show (and the cast) and really works hard at his craft and those are all things I respect a great deal. Where do we start the petition to get him in the cast full time for season three???!

All of this! I’ve really grown to love MRJ and his style, and knowing how much consideration he puts into portraying Nealfire makes me endeared to the character even more. 😀

I think it’ll comes as a consequence of Regina and Emma stopping the diamond from destroying Storybrooke. I’ve theorized that, since this is described as a failsafe to the Curse, its deactivation would bring an end to what remains of the Curse in Storybrooke, including the barrier of forgetfulness that surrounds the town limits, reverting the effect it had on Belle and Sneezy.

Yep, my money’s on this too.

After much pondering on all the different possibilities for THO, here’s my fave scenario…

Wendy started THO to find Bae. At some point we get flashbacks to her setting it all up when she was in her early 20s. They’ve gotta have something in mind for a slightly older version of her, because otherwise why did they cast a 19 year old and age her down for SSTTR.

Over the years, THO has fallen into new hands, and is run by someone who has perverted its original intent, so it’s no longer about the reasons Wendy set it up – “Bae was right, magic is bad, it stole him away, so we must find a way to get him back” – to “magic must be eradicated”. I reckon the present day head of THO is Tamara’s “grandmother”.

I think that having the big boss be someone we already know of would have more of an impact than it being some random stranger. The two most shocking people it could be at this point would be Wendy or Grandma. It’d be more convoluted to try and explain Wendy still being alive, but we’ve seen Grandma’s face in a recent photo. If they wanted to do a shock reveal for the finale, seeing Grandma’s face again, but this time sitting behind the boss’ desk at THO, and having her say something hardcore-cult-leader-like and non-sweet-old-lady-like would be rather awesome.

And I’m not super 100% sure about this last bit yet, but if Grandma is running this show, she must have some knowledge of magical lands, so I’m gonna say maybe she’s Dorothy.

Hmm… So Neal will need to find a way to get to NL then. Or GOAT go to EF?
If Neal is in EF, GOAT and the core casts are in NL, and MAP won’t be much on OUaT (due to other pilots/show), how often will we see Neal, then? Now I am worried.

Know what I’d love? For Tamara to be Robin and Marian’s kid, and for Nealfire to meet Robin in FTL. They team up to try and find a way to get Nealfire back to SB, and he talks about his psycho, bogus fiance who shot him, and Robin will say how evil she sounds, not realising she’s his baby girl. 😛

As fun as it would be for Lana to play Ursula, I kinda hope Ursula is her own character. Maybe Regina and Ursula struck a bargain? Ursula gives Regina squid ink and in return Regina takes care the mermaid who is the rightful heir to the throne Ursula stole. Regina agrees, gets her squid ink, but taking care of Ariel is a bit difficult because she is protected by the pirates so that’s when Regina turns to Rumple.

Or, just to flip the T-word around, maybe Regina goes to Rumple before? Rumple never does a deal if he’s not gonna get something out of it, and he somehow got squid ink. Maybe he sent Regina to get it for him? “I’ll tell you know to fix your mermaid problem, but in return, you must bring me something back.” Perhaps?
