I didn’t get the feeling that he was the leader of the Lost Boys, just of the group that was tasked to deal with Hook.
Possibly. He just seemed super intense, and he had ultimate confidence in PP not failing, so he felt like someone in a powerful and favoured position to me.
Side note: Hook refers to them as the Lost ONES. I think that was a deliberate change to allow girls into the group.
Just got done with a re-watch and I was trying to make out if any of them could have been girls, but it’s hard to tell when it’s dark and you can only see their eyes. It must be a deliberate change in the wording, and I think maybe it’s because GOAT are essentially in the same role. It seems like every time I think of how Tamara ended up in the position she’s in, I come back to her being the displaced child of Robin and Marian. The Lost Ones in NL, looking for Henry, are orphans. Greg, (who just kidnapped Henry to NL, knowing he was important) is an orphan. So it would fit if Tamara is too. So Lost Ones means that she’s part of the same gang.

I do like the “host for PP’s shadow” idea, but Bae is told, “It’s your lucky day, boy, you get to live.” Which implies that the right boy will not get to live. 😕 So I think it’s more than PP needing a host, I think he needs to extract Henry’s magical life force or something, in order to make himself all powerful.
Could PP be the one who provided Regina with the failsafe? It would certainly explain how THO actually knew what it was, and how to use it. Its purpose was to wipe out everyone else in SB except Henry, which would make it easy for GOAT, (who we now know are PP’s minions, whether they realise that themselves or not) to grab Henry, and Henry is who PP has been looking for. PP, has some badass seer skillz if he orchestrated that failsafe, knowing this day would come.
Colin was so many different kinds of awesome in the season finale. I’ve only watched it once, and need a rewatch to fully process it all, but just had to say right now that it was brilliant how he played Hook’s conflicting thoughts and emotions when it came to the son of Milah and Rumple. A seriously stellar performance!
Was just posting in another thread about how I think the Shadow is likely Felix’s shadow. He’s obviously experienced having his shadow removed, because he described it to Hook. And he appears to be the leader of the Lost Boys, making him a favoured servant of PP’s. PP sent him to retrieve Bae from the ship, so it stands to reason that it was his shadow that PP sent to retrieve Bae from London.

Or perhaps she was a random SBer who’d been running the streets as the forest started growing back, and she just hung around to watch some other filming too, so people thought she’d be someone significant, but she actually wasn’t. That’s the obvious outcome of Rumplestiltskin’s analysis at the end. But we don’t actually know that GOAT know Pan is in charge – in fact, we know the opposite. We also didn’t have it confirmed that the Home Office is aware it is doing Peter Pan’s bidding…. perhaps the Shadow can influence?There was some speculation by various people about the Shadow’s ability to influence people’s minds. This was based on the fact that it looked creepy as all getout but kids (who aren’t Bae) are perfectly happy to fly off with it, so perhaps it was twisting their minds somehow.
It makes PP ridiculously ominous if GOAT are doing his creepy bidding, but don’t know who they’re working for, and don’t question it. Obviously they must know that THO is active in NL, but they obviously don’t get orders directly from the top if it’s been established that they don’t really know who they’re working for. Hook must have found this a terribly bizarre state of mind to be in, given that in his own life, he’s been a ship’s Captain, ensuring that everyone below him knew who he was and that he was in charge. It’s no wonder he was looking at GOAT like they were nuts.
3. The Shadow is Peter Pan’s shadow.
We think that, because of the connection to the original story of JM Barrie. But remember what Creepy Gang Leader said – Pan’s punishment is to rip away your shadow…. Perhaps he can turn shadows to his use? It would seem deeply weird if Pan’s punishment to people who annoy him is to do what he’s quite happy to do to himself.I’m not at all convinced that that Shadow is actually PP’s shadow. More likely that it’s one he’s taken from someone else, my bet is on it being Felix’s (Creepy Gang Leader) shadow.
What do we definitely NOT know?
1. Where are Nealfire & Co currently?! Neverland? Enchanted Forest? Somewhere else?
Ever since the spoiler pics of these guys came out, I’ve been thinking they were in FTL, after having brought back Phillip’s soul, and I’m sticking to that. Was kinda shocked that we got so little of them. All of us in the spoiler forum were anticipating an explanation of how they’d brought Phillip back, and we’d figured it’d involve Lake Nostos, and that they’d then use that same water to heal Nealfire. But we got none of that. Guess they wanna keep people guessing about Nealfire’s fate for the whole hiatus.
2. How did Peter Pan get connected to the Home Office and vice versa?
Seems the theories about the Lost Boys setting up the Home Office might be right, in a round about way…As of right now, I’m thinking that THO was originally a separate thing set up by someone else, (Darlings?), which has since been overtaken by PP, perhaps because he saw them as a threat?
6. HOW DOES RUMPLESTILTSKIN KNOW ABOUT PETER PAN & THE HOME OFFICE?????
If Rumple has some knowledge of inhabitants of NL, then how on earth did he manage to not find Bae there?

It just seems like such a waste. *sigh* Hopefully we’ll eventually get some really cool reveal about her, but unless and until such time, I shall just sit and roll my eyes at the PDF.
