As for who Hook could team up with….Regina may be ticked at him for going after Rumple when she & Cora didn’t want him to. If he hadn’t, Cora’s candle would never have been used on her and Regina would still have her mother. It should make for interesting alliances along the way. Perhaps lots of “enemy of my (current) enemy is my friend (for the time being)” scenarios will ensue. Can’t wait to see where everybody falls in that!

I’ve been wondering if perhaps Cora is actually the one who gave him the poison and sent him to NYC. Of course, if that were true, Regina knew nothing about it and likely wouldn’t believe it if he told her. Will certainly be interesting to see where Regina and Hook stand now.

And how much of August’s future was altered b/c of Eion’s other acting gig?

Don’t think that pilot he got signed up for even ended up getting made, so that wouldn’t have had any bearing on their plans for August.

Love that connection with the statue! Thanks for passing on that find, slurpeez. 🙂

Also, Neverland is home to the Lost Boys. Hook has even referred to them as such. Peter is also not a gender neutral name like Jack is, so it would be trickier to pull off.

I have never heard a Peter for a girl’s name, Jack of course because it is nickname of the orginal name but Peter no sorry. ❓

It can be a female name if it’s spelled Peta.

Just a thought. What if Bae is Peter Pan and Hook became a father figure to him in Neverland? Hook sounded pretty compassionate when he referred to the look in the eyes of the lost boys when he and Emma were climbing the beanstalk. Yikes!! Lol

Yes, that’s what I’ve been hoping for for a while now.

This is a tad confusing, because I thought that actors basically signed their fate away to one particular network for X number of years, and that was the only network they could work for. Seems weird to have one network making the show and another one airing it. Oh well, if it means Meghan can still legally be on Once while also making this show, then it’s all good. Red may not be front and centre all the time these days, but she’s still one of the original, core members of TeamCharmings and BFFs with Snow, so it’d be a shame if they couldn’t still have her popping up now and then in the future.

I thought of a recent theory for how Rumple helps Belle regain her memories:

After Rumple has courted her enough to gain “Lacey’s” trust, perhaps he will convince her to “take a leap of faith” and drink some water from the well. The well, as we know, appears to be Storybrooke’s counterpart to Lake Nostos and has been described to “have the power to bring back what was once lost”, just like the water from the lake. It would be ironic if the very well that brought magic with its price of the barrier curse happens to also be the cure for anyone who lost their memory as a result of crossing the line. I think Rumple needs to take some advice from August, and retrace his steps to figure out this solution.

This is a great idea, which would nicely set up another smooch by the well, to mirror the one they had right after they were first reunited. I’d been thinking that perhaps Lacey will have to fall for Rumple before she gets her Belle memories back, but perhaps she doesn’t have to completely fall for him, she just has to trust him enough. The quotes in that article certainly suggest that she’s open to the idea of believing him now.

I was starting to think that the whistle was gonna be the equivalent of Shannon’s whistle but they did mention it recently so I guess people are asking about it and they have a specific plan for it eventually.

Yes, I was happy to hear them mention that they do have a story in mind for it. It’s one of those little things that I’d really hoped wouldn’t just be a throwaway plot point that we never heard of again.

YAY for the flashback promo! I’m thinking that SB was zapped into being in some remote area that was supposed to be uninhabited, but Kurt and Owen happened to be camping there in the wilderness at the time, and ended up stuck in the middle of it.

Shiny new photos of Sheriff Graham make me happy! 😀

Although RumplesGirl and slurpeez108 make great points about how it’s unlikely that Greg (Owen) was able to leave town without his father, but I think Regina looks very sinister in her Mayor’s office with the heart on her desk. I’m guessing it’s Graham’s heart and that either Greg or his father catch her with it. It’s possible though that she commands Graham to beat up possibly do more than that to Greg’s father since there’s that one scene of Regina speaking into the heart, and then the other scene of Graham beating Greg’s dad up. I don’t know how she would expect to keep custody of Greg even if she offed his dad, but it’s Regina so who knows what’s going on in her mind at the time. Maybe he runs away after she kills his dad, or he and his dad leave the town after seeing Regina with the glowing heart, which ends up breaking her heart because she had become attached to Greg.

Regina totally gets busted with that heart, which must be Graham’s. Or maybe they don’t see her with it, perhaps she looks up like that because she hears them coming, (assuming that Graham is gonna haul Kurt in there kicking and screaming). If Kurt is an adult outsider, suspicious of the goings on in town, then he can’t just be sent back out into the world, he’s a threat that needs to be neutralised, either by killing him, or tossing him in a cell under the hospital. If Owen then ends up back out in the real world, I’d guess that he has to run off on his own, because Regina would wanna keep him.

Now, if we assume that Greg is adult Owen, on the one hand, it would explain why he’d have been searching for the town. On the other hand, it would not explain his chipper, excited demeanour, if this is a town where he suffered the trauma of losing his father, and then he ran away from there because he was terrified. He should be angst ridden to be back if that was the case. If he’d been given some sort of memory wipe by Regina, using some of her small stash of stored magic, then he shouldn’t remember the place to look for it in the first place. (Sidenote: I’ve been hoping Owen wouldn’t be young Greg, so will spend the next week driving myself crazy, trying to pick holes in any theory that he is, even though it’s a totally viable and likely theory. 😛)

Don’t give up hope til you have to!

This made me laugh, because it was said to someone hoping the kid is young Greg, but I’ve been hoping the kid wouldn’t be young Greg. 😆 Ethan Embry is in the guest cast list, which could be a hint that Owen is young Greg with a different name. Or it could just be that they’re gonna parallel the stories of people being able to come in from the outside. Or it could mean that they’re gonna set it up so it looks like maybe they are the same person, but they don’t give a definite answer.

Nope, I don’t believe it can be true for one simple reason, the actors playing Henry and Leopold are of different nationality. We’ve now seen more of the family that Regina was born into, and they’ve got Latino blood, which matches up with Lana/Regina. Leopold is not a member of that same family.

I do believe that Eva was there as a possible bride for Henry.

Wow…what an episode! I think my jaw was on the floor and my body was tense and my head was spinning almost the entire time- and this was after having seen all the spoiler clips and reading all the clues. I was almost afraid to keep watching but couldn’t look away. I guessed correctly on several things, but there were still surprises- like I knew Snow was going to use the candle. I did NOT know she was going to manipulate Regina! Also, predicting Snow’s action and actually seeing her go through with it were two different things- I was in a daze. Mr. Gold having the candle and suggesting Snow use it was another thing I hadn’t seen coming. I wonder if it will occur to Snow that while she did take a life, she also saved one. I wonder what made her decide to save Gold after all- the fact that he is family now?

I love that even though I was as spoiled as a mouldy piece of food that had been sitting in the back of the fridge for 6 months, there was still so much in this ep that I hadn’t seen playing out the way it did. This is why I don’t mind being so spoiled, because the show still never fails to amaze me, no matter how much I think I know.

The flashback was heartbreaking- poor Rumple! Is it any wonder that he thought Belle was tricking him in “Skin Deep”?

His experience with Cora certainly adds a whole other layer to his reaction to Belle. No wonder he freaked out like that, indeed!

Would Rumple really have given up the search for Bae? I found that scene so odd and I’ve watched it so many times now. I can’t believe Rumple would give that up. He spent a life time search for Bae, and to give up for a woman that only brings out the darkness in him… I think it’s a total reversal of his character that he would suddenly give up Bae.

Perhaps he didn’t see this new path as diverging from that goal? He had a prophecy from the Seer about a curse that someone else would cast and the boy who’d lead him to his son, etc. He’s obviously also seen enough of the future himself to be able to chuckle about the irony of Cora using the term “snow white”. So I guess if he figures that one way or the other, that prophecy about him finding his son is gonna come true, it doesn’t matter if he shacks up with Cora in the meantime. Actually, it’d make things a bit easier for him, if he’s already got the one destined to cast his curse living with him as his child. Made a whole lot more work for him having to go out and recruit Regina like he did.
