LilRed…sounds like you may have hit the nail on the head…but now you’ve got me looking at the picture to see if Henry favors grandpa lol 😆
When I first saw the pic of this kid, I initially thought he looks Henry-ish before I thought he looked youngRumple-ish. I’m liking this idea that they met twice, at different ages. Rumple’s age during the wars would be a determining factor. They’d have to make him a fair bit younger to match up with the age of the Seer, if they’re gonna make it that they first met when they were children of a similar age. There’s a 20 year age gap between Robert and Shannon.

Midnight: well, it does now! I’m thinking Slurpeez is right. Maybe the Seer tells him his destiny, to become evil and cause choas, and he runs away thinking to avoid it and thus by not wanting to believe the prophecy, he actually walks right into in. Classic trope in Greek literature.
I was thinking about this the other day and how what he did to save his son is what cost him his son. And with the theory and speculation of the prophecy, this sounds the most in tune to pre-dark one Rumple.
It keeps reminding me of Revenge of the Sith and how Anakin fell! The premonitions caused his turn to the dark side yet if he didn’t turn to the dark side they wouldn’t have come true :-//Ah, a good old self fulfilling prophecy, gotta love that tragic stuff! Can’t wait to find out exactly what this prophecy says, and also if this Seer is where Rumple gains his own skills of foresight. I’ve never thought of him as a real future seer before, but maybe he picks up some tricks from this girl, or just from his experience with her. If he misinterprets her prophecy and then his actions cause it to come true, that may be how he learns the art of carefully crafting his words, which is how he ends up such a pro at saying exactly the right things to manipulate people’s actions.
PS. obisgirl, I’m not a CaptainSwan shipper as such, but do love their flirtations, and I love your sig! 😉

and he was a meteorologist, who kept log of weather patterns for years and analyzed a tornado that hit Brno in 1870.
This caught my attention, given that I’m on TeamWizardofOz, so I had to google it, (because once we get any theory stuck in our head, we interpret all clues to relate to it 😆 )…
http://tinyurl.com/a5t8stuThe tornado of 13th October 1870 in Brno can be considered as one of the
milestones in the history of documenting tornadoes in the Czech lands. The reason
for this is that it was very well described and analysed by Gregor Mendel (the founder
of genetics and a meteorologist) in his work (Mendel 1871). Recently, this was
discussed and translated from the original German text into English by Munzar
(1998). Mendel’s description of the event itself and his analysis of damage caused by
the tornado (Windhose) could serve as an example of tornado documentation and
damage survey even in most recent years. One of the interesting aspects of this work
was that he devoted special attention to the tornado’s rotation. He witnessed this
himself and stressed the fact of anticyclonic spin (and realized that this was a unique
exception from the “general rule”). Therefore, Mendel’s work can be regarded as the
beginning of the modern era of tornado documentation and research in the Czech
lands.Tornado research…portal to another land research…po-tay-toe….po-tah-toe. 😉

Hmmm. Both actors they casted are American actors — I guess they could be a young Charming and King George, otherwise if the boy was a young Hook, I think it would have been easier to cast a kid from Ireland, or British actors for Hook’s dad and a younger version of him.
Excellent point! They’d hardly get an American kid to fake a Brit accent. Adult actors have enough trouble with that, so they couldn’t expect a kid to be able to master it. I actually think he looks more like Colin than he does Josh, but given the accent thing, I’d say he’s gotta be a young James and/or Charming.

Plus, if Jamie Dornan returns this episode in flashbacks, I’m not sure how that’s going to connect to Hook at all. While James and Charming seem to be around the same age as Graham, I could see it working that he’s actually older than they are, and the flashbacks showing that he met a young James.
The Huntsman can definitely be linked to Charming flashbacks better than he could be to Hook flashbacks. Dunno that I could buy there being that much of an age difference between them that Huntsman could have met YoungJames though. I guess they could de-age the Huntsman a bit, have him be a teen meeting tween YoungJames. That set pic of Jamie still has him scruffy though, and the best way to make him look younger would be to have him clean shaven.
They could always show flashbacks to when James was a kid, and then later in the ep have the flashbacks being to the time when he (and Charming) was an adult instead. Then they could work the Huntsman in easily.
Now, the question is, could this guy…

…pass for a young Alan Dale?

I’d say yes.Phee
ParticipantJust the other day I posted on another thread how I’d like to be the meat in a Jamie/Colin sandwich. And here are these people saying they were waiting for Colin and Jamie popped up. Plz excuse me whilst I buy a ticket on the next flight to Vancouver!! 😉
I’m not gonna put much stock in his comment about being dead in SB. We dunno the tone he used, and was likely just joking around, because I’m sure he’s aware of all the discussion from fans about whether he could ever be back in SB. I’m super excited to see him in FTL flashbacks though! 😀

The pink lippy says, “sweet and innocent.” The look in her eye says, “Don’t mess with me or I’ll eff you up.” 😈

I remember reading spoilers about an older seer – is she in this episode too? If so, I think she’s the same girl that Rumple may visit later on as the Dark One, and possibly take her power of foresight? hmm.
Yep, the guest star list has Shannon Lucio cast as Seer.

She looks a lot like Brighid Fleming from the first post, who is just named as Little Girl in the cast list. Here are both casting calls:For Episode 2×14, a guest role is being cast. She’s a quick-witted, defiant 10-year-old prisoner of war who can see the future, and shows little fear against the soldiers.
http://www.spoilertv.com/2012/12/once-upon-time-episode-214-role-of.htmlFor episode 2.14, the guest role of Seer is being cast. She’s 30, brave, wiser than her years, and also psychic. She doesn’t want this power and wants to be rid of the visions she’s cursed with.
http://tinyurl.com/bhvttljThe actresses look so alike, they could be the same person at different ages, or possibly sisters.

If Bae is not Rumples real son, why would the globe work? He found his son with his blood at the white globe Coras has given him in the area of New York.
Excellent point. I’d say this proves that Rumple is in fact Bae’s biodad.

ParticipantWhat a tease, I wanna see her costume, not a headshot. 😛

ParticipantIf he’s not Wizard of Oz, then Peter Pan is my next pick, though I’m also hoping that Bae became Pan. It’s funny, coz when spoilers about this mysterious new “visitor” started leaking out, the first thing I thought was how cool it’d be if he was just a real world person, but now I’m convinced he’ll be anything but.
