I’m never believing a name in a casting call ever again. 😛 Jack looks great, can’t wait to see what story they’ve come up with for her.

Even after they said no Pan this season, I’d wondered how long they can honestly put that off. If they wanna show more flashbacks for Hook, Neverland is where they’ll hafta go.

Wouldn’t really expect them to show us both Neverland and Oz in what remains of this season. They’re two majorly anticipated locations, and they wouldn’t wanna reveal them both at once, they’d keep one in reserve for next season.

The colour does look similar, and the ends of the one in SB look like maybe it’s old and tattered. Good catch!

I truly think that if Regina is Rumple’s daughter then Rumple never knew about it.

And I don’t see how he couldn’t have known if she was. Because if he’d been screwing around with Cora and suddenly she was pregnant, he’d have conducted some sort of magical paternity test to see if the kid was his. If it came back positive, there’s no way he’d have corrupted Regina the way he did. If it came back as a false negative, that means Cora outwitted him somehow, and I dunno that I’d buy that she’d have been able to do that at that point in time.

If he’d made a deal with Cora for her first born, and then proceeded to sleep with her, that means he was hoping the kid would end up being his, but if he just wanted a kid from her, why bother with the whole deal where she married Henry? Just cut out the middle man and promise Cora a bunch of gold in exchange for a kid, then get to the baby making.

For me it has to be The Return. That scene between AWB and Gold, when Gold thought he was his son, was so intense. I’m not sure anything else will ever match up to that for me.

That was great, and speaking of August, I LOVE the scene in The Stranger when he goes to Marco’s workshop. Wrenches my heart every which way every freaking time.

Last episode had to be Gold with his line “He has to die Belle!”. Everything from tone, expression and body language just played into that so well. Again, sitting in front of the tube howling with laughter.

That line delivery was perfection! Another of my fave moments from that ep was when Hook was telling Belle about Milah, and he was all up in her face, the tone of his voice, the way he maneuvered the gun, I had to hold my breath.

Henry Sr didn’t specify how long beforehand Cora had met Rumple, he just says, “Someone Cora knew before I met her.” So she could have met him, like, a week before, just to set up the spinning straw into gold scam, before her father went to the King to arrange Cora’s marriage to Henry.

I just don’t see how Cora could have hidden it from Rumple if he was the baby daddy. If they’d been screwing around and she got pregnant, then he’d have performed some sort of magical paternity test to find out if the kid was his, and unless Cora was particularly advanced in her magical skillz by then, I doubt she could have outwitted him and tampered with the test results. If she has managed to scam Rumple like that, even all those years ago, before she reached the height of her power, and he’s never found out the truth, then that’s pretty impressive, and I’ll be pretty surprised.

But I’m not even convinced they went the whole way and screwed around though. Would he risk getting some chick pregnant? He doesn’t need that hassle in his life when he’s trying to focus on finding the kid he’s already lost.

I can see her having lusted after him as a by product of lusting after the power he was giving her, so I can see her coming onto him, and having not had physical contact with anyone for so long, I can see he may have responded. But I still think he’d have stopped short of sleeping with her, because that would have been leaving himself in far too vulnerable a position. Cora would have enjoyed teasing him immensely, that power hungry, control freak witch that she is.

how did Rumple get the shawl when Bae/Neal/Peter Pan was wearing it in Never Never Land? (or do we assume that Rumple was such a broke medieval father than Bae actually had a couple of shawls….!!!)

Bae was wearing his hooded cloak when he went through the portal. The shawl is a different garment he left behind, though seems to be made from similar fabric. By that time, Rumple could whip up and clothes he liked, but I’m guessing that old cloak was something Bae’s mother had made, just like she made the shawl.

I’m guessing there was also a conversation off screen at some point where they were filling Charming in on the portal festivities in FTL and Snow was all, “And then Cora tried to reach into my chest and take my heart and dude, you won’t believe what happened!”

I think the Dark One curse is meant to die with Rumple. Wasn’t the curse Regina enacted called “The Curse To End All Curses”? They’ve already introduced a way to break it without passing it along by “True Love’s Kiss”. I don’t think they’ll just have someone stab Rumple so the curse is passed along to someone else.

Rumpelstiltskin: A horse? This is the curse to end all curses. You think a horse is going to do?

Guess I’d never looked at that statement literally. I just took it in the sense of, “this is the biggest, baddest, most awesome one of these things you’re ever gonna see”. It did break the Dark One curse, for 28 years, and I daresay it would have stayed broken if Rumple hadn’t have brought back magic. Obviously it’s in effect again in some fashion, or he couldn’t have summoned the Wraith the way he did, but they haven’t really clarified if it still holds its same intensity as before. Magic behaves differently here, so I guess they can make the Dark One curse do whatever best suits their storytelling needs.
