I don’t know whther or not they will introduce the character of Peter Pan into the series. Hook wanted revenge against Peter for cutting off his hand and throwing it to the crocodile yet in the series Rumple was the one to cut off his hand. If Peter Pan does exist in this show then what is Hook going to have against him?
He could use the kid as motivation for his revenge if said kid was Rumple’s son. If Bae hadn’t existed, Rumple might have let Milah go easier, and she might not have ended up dead. If Bae ends up in Neverland, he’d be a constant reminder to Hook of his lost love and how he lost her. That’s gonna create some animosity. And it wouldn’t be completely removed from the original story, because in the Onceiverse, Hook did lose his hand indirectly because of Bae. Rumple wouldn’t have been on that ship to slice Killian’s hand off if not for being motivated by his love for Bae.

ParticipantAnd they were so close to each other, one in Boston, the other in NYC. That’s only a 4 hour drive apart. So close, and yet so far.

ParticipantIt’s interesting to look back on the affect that Emma had on Graham, now that we’ve seen her touch Regina and make the hat work, and also touch the wardrobe which resulted in magical ashes. Kissing Graham was the only time she completely let her guard down with someone, (prior to her kissing Henry), and look what happened…she started to change how magic worked on him. That doesn’t mean it was a true love kiss breaking his curse, it just means that she let down her guard, opened herself up, and her power to change magic started to rev up.

ParticipantPretty sure they’ve said they would reveal his real name. Was expecting it to come at some point in the scenes with his mother. Hope they didn’t have it in there and then cut the scene.

ParticipantWhoever he is, he sounds rather formidable.
The bit about him being determined to prove that his way of life is right, coupled with him being a visitor to SB, still has me wondering if he might be a real world person who is anti-magic. I mean, why would someone magical have to defend their way of life to a town full of magical people? And how would a magical person end up in the real world so that they could be considered a visitor to SB? (I know we’ve seen that a couple of times, but both Emma and August had the same, specific reason for having been outside town. And we know that Bae is out there. But it’d sorta feel like overkill to me if suddenly there was some other magical person who had somehow ended up in the real world too.)
Of course, he could always be someone who comes from another magical world and opens a portal to SB. Then he could be Victor’s brother, and his “way of life” he’s defending could be scientific vs the magical folks.

-She implied that August went back for Emma because of guilt, not because of a directive from someone else, but left this open ended.
Went to look up her exact tweet:
You think he was sent there? I felt that his guilt drove him to track her down. But it’s an open question.
Dontcha just love when someone answers a question with another question? 😆 I’m still not ruling out the possibility that Blue gave him orders. Perhaps he began tracking Emma down on his own, but if he and Blue were both following Emma’s trail, Blue could have caught scent of him too, and then contacted him. When I read about it being BIG RED SHINY I automatically thought of the Rubbie Slippers.
The slippers is an interesting prospect, but a pair of shiny, red shoes is a pretty generic item. It's easy enough to find any old pair of sparkly red shoes in our world, so how would Neal look at a pair of them and instantly know without question that it was THE Ruby Slippers?

ParticipantHope you’re right because that would mean we’ll get to meet Belle’s mother too, and I’d love to see what kinda woman she was, (and if she was anyone significant).

hahaha I don’t know if I’m making much sense, but it makes sense in my mind. 🙂
Makes sense to me too. Get outta my head. 😉 I’ll just say a big DITTO to pretty much everything you’ve posted in this thread.
Also wanna add that I really think that people are giving August far too much credit for his actions in this ep. I believe he was acting under orders from Blue Fairy/Mother Superior, and what happened to Emma is all a part of her grand design. In being Blue’s messenger boy, August felt he was doing his part to try and make up for having ignored his role in her life when they were kids.
Not only is he carrying the burden of his own mistakes, but also the burden of his father’s mistake. Pinocchio didn’t ask for this role, and it’s in his nature to not be well behaved, so he’s struggling, and I think that struggle, and his mistakes, are understandable. Hell, I can even understand why he ran off to Phuket. If I had to deal with the demons he’s carrying around, I’d wanna run away to a tropical paradise full of pleasures too, and if someone put the cash to do it directly into my hands, I’d find it hard to resist. That doesn’t mean that I don’t wanna slap him upside the head for doing exactly that, of course I do, because it was undoubtedly the wrong thing for him to do. But all of us do wrong things…and often you do one wrong thing, and swear you’ll do better next time, then you don’t, and the mistakes keep piling up, and you just wanna run away and forget it all. The stronger people will stand and try to make up for their misdeeds and turn things around. The weaker ones will run and hide. August is the latter, and given his actions, he totally had the re-wood-en-ing coming, so I’m not gonna say he doesn’t deserve to be in that crappy situation now. But I do hope that he finds a way to redeem himself, coz I’ve got a whole lotta empathy for the guy.
Oh, and one final thing…even if you hate August for having told Neal what to do, Neal still did what August told him to do. He still had the choice to leave her or to stand by her…and he left.

ParticipantThere are moments when I absolutely believe 100% that he’s gonna be Bae. There are lots of little hints and clues floating around, and it would make for a compelling story, so I’ll be totally fine with it if he is. But there’s also part of me that thinks it’d be a cool twist if they shock everyone and have him NOT be Bae. Don’t think that’s very likely at this point though. Either way, I hope we have it resolved sooner rather than later.

ParticipantI’m assuming this is the shot that Cheri means by us having seen Tink…

…it’s just a brief shot of an ornament in someone’s garden in the Pilot, so I dunno that we can really put stock in it and say that it was actually Tink, though it’s safe to assume that it was included because it resembles the famous fairy. -
