ParticipantNope, I’m not seeing a taxi anywhere there. Why would anyone take a taxi from NYC to Maine, anyway?
Love the pic of them all walking down the street. 😀

Are you talking about Beverly Hills 90210, the original flavor?
But of course! I wanted to like the reincarnated version, but it’s nothing compared to the classic.

the clothing does not add up! let’s say that storybrook present is somewhere between 2007 and 2012. This means she should be wearing clothes from the late 90’s early 00’s. The kind of look she is sporting was trending two-three years ago. Hipster glasses? Com’on, no one wore those ten years ago. I hope we are wrong and this is not a flashback from 10 years ago, because if it is, there has been a serious mistake in the wardrobe department.
I dunno, I think the clothes are fine. I asked myself, “Would she blend in in an ep of 90210,” and answered yes.

Is it just me or was regina and jefferson in pre curse fairytale world when they were clutching eachother? I don’t think regina and jefferson were embracing in post curse time because of the outfits they’re wearing and regina’s hair. Jefferson could be daniel’s brother but i don’t think regina was there when Dr. Whale brings back daniel in post fairytale world because she didnt know about it.
Correct. They’re together watching Daniel’s re-animation in FTL, but whatever happens in SB, Regina doesn’t know about it until after Daniel is re-re-animated.

Yes, it will be Regina that kills Daniel (part deux). It will add fuel to the fire of her hatred for Snow.
I’m wondering if it may be Charming that kills him, given that Josh was apparently shooting scenes at the stables. I guess he might just show up as Sheriff after the fact because there’ll be a dead body lying around, but I could see them having him kill Daniel to save Regina. Then she’ll have to debate between being grateful that Charming saved her life and livid because this time it wasn’t Snow who took away her love, it was Snow’s husband, which, frankly, would probably sting even more than the original incident. Having Snow’s true love kill Regina’s true love all over again, that’s gotta rub salt into the wound. I reckon that’d be more interesting than having Regina be the one who kills him.

ParticipantConsidering how closely they’ve guarded the secret of his identity, it must be irritating for all involved to have had it given away so blatantly in the promo.
I was never that caught up on who he’d be during season 1. Had had a couple of ideas, but didn’t really waste a whole lot of brain power on it until the season 2 spoilers started, and then I suddenly, desperately wanted to know. It’ll be great to finally have his identity made official…so we can move on to obsessing about something new instead. 😉

I guess it’s different when your theory actually comes to fruition.
TeamFrankie must be feeling right now how TeamPinocchio was towards the end of last season. I was totally fist pumping and dancing in my seat when that went down. 😆

What I do believe, is that Bae is TOO important just to end up as a small bit fairy tale character. Peter Pan is as big as they get.
Especially considering the creators of the show have said repeatedly that Peter Pan is their fave. If they’re gonna have Peter on the show, he’s gonna be someone important, and in the scope of the show, there are few characters more important than Bae.

ParticipantI’ve wondered about that too. Regarding the timeline, I don’t think that we should use 28 years as a marker. The fairytale stories happened at some point in history, potentially 100s of years ago, and the curse just happened to dump them at a certain point in time in our world, which happened to be 28 years ago.
As far as how the stories ended up in our world, I really hope they address this at some point. There had to have been someone able to go there and bring the stories back. Peter Pan could have brought the stories of Neverland, but he wouldn’t know of the stories from FTL, even if he ends up being Bae, because he lived way before these stories happened.
Maybe it was the fairies, Blue in particular, (I believe she’s the writer of the book). Peter Pan used fairy dust to fly between worlds, right? So shouldn’t actual fairies be able to fly between worlds too?

Maybe we’ll meet a certain mermaid. I could see the writers easily blending the mermaids of Neverland with The Little Mermaid fairy-tale.
I think that fits in well with the story line. Would like to see the two paired together!
Yes, before The Crocodile, I saw some theories out there that maybe they would pair up Hook and Ariel. I thought that was interesting idea since I read something here or in the chat about Hook concealing his identity in Peter Pan because he was a nobleman. So I thought it would be interesting if Killian Jones was just an alias, and he really was Prince Eric too because I think Colin O’Donoghue looks like he could be Prince Eric too, and it would be one way to redeem Hook if Ariel turned out to be his true love.
That’s a really interesting idea, wonder how they could work it in. I mean, given that Hook is hanging out with Cora these days, he’s not a stand up guy in the present day, and if he and Ariel had their story in Neverland, then it can’t have ended happily, which would be a bummer.
Though the original story didn’t have a happy ending where the mermaid and her price ended up together, so maybe if Ariel and Hook have a Neverland romance, it’ll go wrong somehow, but won’t be the end of their story, and they’ll be reunited in SB. Perhaps? Maybe that’s even part of the reason Hooks wants to get there, because Ariel ended up there? Though the Disney Ariel is all sweetness and light, mermaids do have a reputation for being brutal, and a tough little mermaid might be a good match for a pirate.
Ariel first meets her prince when she saves him when his ship is caught in a storm, and we just saw Hook’s ship go gurgling down a vortex through the sea. Who’s to say what condition he’ll be in when he pops out on the other side in Neverland. Maybe he’ll need rescuing. Hmmm.
