ParticipantIt works perfectly. LOL I’ll probably hear that in my head every time I see Regina on screen now.

ParticipantIt could play out a couple of different ways, and I’m guessing he was purposefully sent by Blue Fairy as Emma’s protector. But even if it turns out that it was a request that Geppetto made, I can hardly fault him for trying to see if there was a way to save his child. Surely every parent in FTL would have tried to save their child from the curse to end all curses if they were in a position to do so.

ParticipantIf he were a regular guy on any other show, I wouldn’t care for him in the least. But we’ve got the curse to consider here, so I give him some leeway and believe that he’ll prove himself eventually.
Kitsis and Horowitz talk about his shortcomings a bit in this youtube starting at about 5:15:

Participantcruel _fortuna, that dream sounds kind of awesome. LOL
I find that I always dream about being in Middle Earth whenever I re-read LotR. More than once I’ve been chased by orcs across Mordor whilst on a trek with Frodo, Sam and Gollum.

Did you also notice the how hurt he was when she accused him of betraying her.
Yes! Assuming this is actually what their relationship will end up being, where he’s known her her whole life, it makes that scene extra sad because clearly it’s a one sided relationship. When he says that he hoped she’d have enough faith to trust him, well he must realise at the same time, why should she? There’s no way she could have the same faith in him that he has in her, because she doesn’t know him like he knows her. The one person in this world who is the same as him, a runaway fairytale kid, and even though they’re together now, they’re both still alone. If Emma discovers who he is, and his life story, she’d realise that she’s not the only one who has felt alone in this world for their whole life, and that shared history could really bring about some wonderful character development for Emma, if she finds out and accepts who they both are.
I don’t know that the Emma/August interactions and friendship could potentially have an affect on the progress of her character like that if he’s anyone other than Pinocchio, because I can’t think off the top of my head how they could build that kind of connection between Emma and any other character at this point in the story. Why would she feel any real sense of comraderie with him if he’s Mr Gold’s son, for example? She’s no fan of Mr Gold, so why would she particularly care if August reckons he’s his son? What’s that to her? How would that make her believe? But if August can show her they have a shared history and tells her that it’s now or never and she’s gotta have a little faith for the first time in her life, that would provide a significant turning point for her character.
Emma and Pinocchio in our world would kind of harken back to how Emma’s parents would tell each other that they’d always find each other. If it was Pinocchio’s job to find Emma when she came through from FTL right after him, and now 28 years later he’s found her again and this time is helping her to find herself, it’d carry on the theme from her parents of always being destined to be drawn back together. GAH, now I’ve practically gone and married Emma and August off in my head. LOL If that happens one day, I totally called it, OK. ๐
Anyway, basically, the point of all my blabbing is that I can see great potential for the advancement of the overall story and also Emma’s personal development if he ends up being Pinocchio, which is why I’m totally on the Pinocchio bandwagon and don’t really get why people think it’d be a bad reveal if that’s who he is.

ParticipantMy current thinking on that is that perhaps August has been to Storybrooke before, and didn’t want to be instantly recognisable this time to certain people. If last time he was a freckle faced redhead, then dying his hair brown and covering his face with stubble would be a simple disguise of sorts. Perhaps that’s why Regina thinks he seems familiar, because she has seen him in town before, but can’t pinpoint him because he looks different now.

ParticipantGinny is SO STINKIN’ CUTE in that pic.
Here’s a quote she said about her tatt:
“I wish theyโd let me use my tattoo on the show, but theyโre not gonna let me. To me, apples of course symbolize wisdom and purity and all kinds of things. I do love the thought that the apple is something that Snow White uses as a symbol of survival; this is the thing that she overcame, so itโs like a reminder to her.”Google didn’t turn up anything about Jennifer having a tatt, so dunno about that.

ParticipantI’ve had Once characters pop up in my dreams multiple times over the last week or so, but don’t remember what actually happened, just that they were there, (which really bugs me, coz I like to figure out what my dreams mean, so it’s super frustrating when I can’t grasp the details). I know for sure that Charming has been in a couple, and in every one I’ve been in the forest.
The only one I remember in detail was the very first one from a couple weeks ago. I was at a fair of some description with Ginny Goodwin. All of a sudden she transformed into Snow White exactly as she appears in the Disney movie. She started bouncing up and down and running around, exclaiming, “OMG I’M A REAL LIFE DISNEY PRINCESS!!” ๐
