Who’s to say he’s the dark one now. Remember they said magic works differently here. The dagger could be no more a threat to controlling Rumple as any other dagger. The love for Henry as his grandson could what really undoes the curse and still leave his magic in tack. What makes you good? What makes you evil? It is your action. The curse is already started to be broke. He would have killed Hook but didn’t. He could have killed the stranger but didn’t. It seems his actions are speaking louder than words. He could have taken the coward’s way out when Emma came back and said Bae got away but he didn’t that seems to be pretty brave to me. I still think it is love the will undo the curse not the curse Regina started but Rumple’s curse and I truely think that is the curse the Seer was talking about. But Who’s to say.

Do you really think if he sent that kind of money in that envelope to a prison she would get to keep it. It would go to the jewelry store or they would try to figure out who would be sending her that kind of money. August is a creep and he really did go about it the wrong way to get Emma to SB but how would she have gotten there in the first place without Henry being there. And would she have found her special power of telling the truth if she wasn’t hurt so badly. But I’m all for August getting a major butt whipping by a long list of people. Starting with Snow and Charming and just moving down the list but I think the BF needs to be smack by Snow too. It seems that all this people got caught up in a battle between Rumple and the BF.
Poor Emma, not only is she totally out of her element being in the Enchanted Forest. She finding her mother, Snow, is nothing like Mary Margaret. Talk about growing pains.
August/Pinocchio’s bag is still there and other personal items. I wonder if he heard about Emma and Snow/MM had went through the hat and he went to the tree they came into the real world to see if he could get through. He still has to do good to stay a real man. Redemption for leaving her as a baby. It just a thought.
I think the heart belongs to someone we haven’t meet yet and this could be how MM fingerprints got in the box. EQ could have showed her the box with heart in FTL and this could be why SW is trying so hard to kill her in the next episode. There is a lot more going on between those two then EQ killing SW father and trying to kill her and whatever SW did to the EQ, that might have started but the EQ has escalated it into a very no rules war. Maybe the design of the box are copies of some box SW’s mother had and the heart in the box is SW’s mother. Just throwing ideas out there; which are probable wrong, but I really want to know why they hate each other so deeply.
I agree with everything you all said but I also see him as the nerd that everyone pick on growing up then he became the CEO of a company and could pay a little of that bully back. I don’t think he is crazy but he acts that way to keep anyone from get to close because they might see the kid that everyone pick on underneath. This for Rumple side of him. Mr. Gold side, I see him as Scrooge before the spirits came to visit.
Now Regina and Mr. Gold relationship is very complicated. Which is the same for the EQ and Rumple. I believe he keeps getting in her way. He in away is a balance to her. He is able to get his hands dirty to keep her from taking over FTL because the heros have to be honest and fair. A perfect example of this is when Emma told everyone what Mr. Gold did when she was running for Sheriff. Every good guy needs to have that one person do the things that no else is willing to do.
In a way, Rumple got in her way again with telling Snow and Charming their daughter is the only one who can save them. Which put them in action to try to stop EQ, which lead to the cabinet being built and Emma being sent in the real world instead of SB. He foiled her plans again by bring Henry to SB which leads to Emma coming there too. I also believe that he was the one who gave MM the book and then Henry getting it. Regina also has to give anything he wants if he says “please”. The only thing she has over him is Belle. I really don’t know how powerful that really is because right now he still won’t give up the power and how do we not know he doesn’t know about Belle being in the hospital psyc ward, that could be the favor he ask for from Emma is to get her out when the time comes. It is just what I have floating around in my head but I probable have it all wrong.
What if AWB when he took Emma to the well and talking about getting back what you lost coming back to you was Henry. I think Regina will cave in to Henry to start seeing Emma again. And with the book back in hand whether pages was add to help them further the cause of bringing Regina down or lead them off the course will just have wait and see. I think Henry in a way is a threat to Regina and she doesn’t see it because he’s just a boy. Now AWB could every well be Pinnochio and he doesn’t have to be the boy who found her and if he was made from the tree the used to make the cabinet maybe he could go through it and not mess up the magic of the tree. Just another thought.
I just found the site and I think it’s great. Now to my question or I guess my theory on Henry’s book. I think August made a copy of it and changed some of the fairy tales and that is the book he put for Emma to discover behind her car. It looked to me he was aging the papers to make them look old. I think he keep the original book. What this means? No clue. That is just my idea.
