I think Regina knows exactly who Emma is. But Lana has mentioned several times in articles that she is very aware that Regina does love Henry – so if that is the case, there is no way that she is going to kill Emma because she knows that Henry was so intent on finding his birth mother (from a mortal perspective), and because she knows that Henry believes that she is the EQ from a FTL perspective. What mother wants their kid to think they are an EQ – even if they are??? So I think the last thing she is going to do, simply because of Henry, is to directly do away with Emma. I think that instead she just wants to let the curse run its course and try to hurt MM as much as she can before whatever effect Emma is going to have takes over. I actually think Regina feels more threatened by Emma because of Henry then because of the curse – not simply because she is his birth mother but because deep down she doesn’t really believe she has the ability to truely love someone – so I think she fears that people will figure out that she isn’t fit to be a mother and that somehow Emma will be able to take Henry away (Archie has even hinted about this). (Although in the real world a birth mother who suddenly showed up 10 years later with Emma’s history would never be able to get Henry!!).

Nonnie – I think I’m really starting to like your theory. One of my theories has been that Pinocchio was changed back into a wooden puppet and was placed into the wardrobe and then transported along with Emma (so then there would still be only one person traveling in the tree), but I think I like your theory better. And it does make sense because Gepetto brought the tree in along with the Blue Fairy – we don’t know where they got the tree, so it’s possible Gepetto already had the tree and used it to create Pinocchio.
I was just thinking about this too. I don’t think his request will have anything to do with his “power” to demand that her end of their deal be upheld. I think that it will show that she finally believes because he will ask her to do something that she wouldn’t agree to do unless she did finally believe, or it will show that she has actually come to trust him and like/ understand him (which could also, in theory, show that she believes). Like he could ask her to help him free Belle or do something that will help him get his son back – something that shows a different side of him that we don’t see in SB.
Wow, slurpeez you have incredible eyes! I can’t even see any of the detail on door 7!! 😆 I’ll take your word for it that there are trees on it. 😀 But now I wonder, do you think that door 7 could be the door to SB since the symbol for SB is an apple tree?? Is the tree the same tree as the SB apple tree?? Then maybe door 16 could be an entryway to somewhere outside of SB, like everyone’s favorite vacation destination . . . Boston?? I also thought of Tron for door 15.
Does anyone else think that door 16 looks like a modern door? Like it could be the door/entrance to a modern day house? Like it has transom windows on the side and along the top? I wonder if that could be the entry way to SB.
😆 😆 😆 OMG The frosty breathing scenes were hysterical!!! I seriously had to rewind the DVR to go back and listen to what they said because my son and I had an entire conversation about how cold it must be and how they must be freezing and MM only had a skirt or dress on with some tights and Davids nose was bright red and looked like it was about to start running . . .
I’m actually hoping that if/when David and MM remember who they are they make it a bit funny when they are around Emma too – especially David, cause you know how dads are with their little girls!! It would be hysterical to see David acting all proud/protective/fatherly toward Emma considering they are like the same age. They could even play it off kind of creepy from Emma’s perspective and have her think that David is coming on to her or something because of his sudden “interest” in her. It could be weird – suddenly David and MM are wanting Emma to go on their dates with them (oh wait – that’s another show Ginnifer Goodwin was on 😆 ). And MM would be giving Emma those doe-eyed looks of hers ALL THE TIME. Plus you could have Henry let a “Grandpa” slip here and there . . .
Good point. It would explain how August could be a character like Pinocchio and end up making his way to SB without having to get there via the magic tree.
It would make me wonder whether Regina has considered whether there was another way into and out of SB since she used the hat and the doors to travel between lands before.
It seems a bit anti-climatic now that I think about it. She made such a big deal about the fact that she was going to send all the characters to another place where they wouldn’t remember who they are and where she would take away their happy endings. Well, so far none of them seem to have had super happy lives in FTL and it seems that going to other lands was already possible so, really, the only big deal about the curse was forgetting who they really are???
So I asked my husband who totally does NOT get this OUaT “stuff” to re-watch the scene and tell me if he notices anything about the vault. He asked me what the box that lights up and blinks is supposed to mean. I then went back and watched all the scenes with the heart vaults from the Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. There are boxes that have reflections as you can see from the screen shots but they are totally different from the one box in Wonderland. The box in Wonderland has a yellow/golden color to it, the other ones are just bright like a sun or light reflection.
It could be nothing, but it seems very odd that they wouldn’t have done something to edit it out if it wasn’t supposed to be there. It’s actually so distracting to me that I watch the box light up instead of watch what EQ is doing. Plus there seems to be a sound that happens at the exact same time that the box first flashes.
I can’t actually tell if it is Graham’s heart box though. At first I thought it wasn’t because it looked like it was on the end in Wonderland and Graham’s box isn’t on the end. But on the screen shot it looks like there might be more boxes to the right.
