Participant. . .and bring back Bae – don’t forget that I’m calling Rumple will use the curse to first bring back Bae and then end all magic. 😀

ParticipantTotally agree, hjbau. No way is Rumple/Gold’s ultimate goal only to beat EQ/Regina. If that was the case – what’s been stopping him from taking a Moe French moment with his cane on her? He definately has his own agenda. And I also agree that Regina is extremely vindictive – death isn’t her agenda for people, misery and control is. When she can’t find a way to keep them controlled and miserable anymore that’s when she decides to kill someone.
I do wonder whether Regina and Gold know about Jefferson. It’s another one of those moments that keeps making me go back and forth on who I think August might be. If August is Bae and he is adding pages to the book to help Emma believe, it could be that Gold knows that August is Bae and knows that he is in town and the two of them are working together to get Emma to believe. So it’s possible August added the pages about Jefferson which would mean that Gold knows that Jefferson has been in town – but potentially Regina does not. And since it seems that August just recently showed up in town, it could be that August has knowledge of Jefferson and Regina’s relationship because he knows how to travel from one reality to the next. So potentially Gold pretended to be working with Regina in order to give Emma time with Jefferson so she could gain more knowledge that would make her start to believe.

ParticipantSomething I have thought about – does it really matter what the outcome of any “trial” is in SB?? I’m guessing there is only one jail in SB – the one in the Sherriff’s office right? And usually if you are suspected of murder you are not going to be tried in a local court like the one in SB. So what, really, is going on with MM’s “trial” or arraignment or whatever?? She can’t leave SB to go to trial anywhere else. I’m guessing that neither Gold nor Regina would want lawyers and investigators from outside SB coming to SB to investigate the crime. So I’m actually wondering if Gold and Regina were somehow working together to try to contain the crime to SB and actually have the whole thing post-poned. I think Gold wants something to happen BEFORE anything would go any farther with the trial and he was just giving Regina what she wanted as his way of helping make sure nothing about the situation leaked out of SB.

ParticipantI think it’s so cool that right now Emma just thinks that she is finally allowing herself to let people “in” and have some friends, and so she thinks of those people as her family – not realizing that they they really ARE her family. But deep down there is some kind of emotional bond there that must be understood because she IS awfully protective of MM. And I think it’s always very sweet how MM looks very motherly toward Emma – like she was having an emotional break through moment when she acknowledged that she had friends. But it makes me laugh when I think of Emma and David. I get the feeling their moments together are more like a pre-teen girl with her father – kind of like when you are embarrassed by things he does and when you want to be dropped off at the corner so no one knows he’s your dad – since he always seems to say and do the wrong thing. Poor David.

Participantcruel_fortuna,
What? You don’t want Red’s creepy, bloody well that most likely has some rotting corpse at the bottom?? No? Hmm. I think I would pass on that one too. (Just kidding 😀 )

ParticipantWow, suddenly my days don’t seem quite so tedious . . ., but THAT’S what I call a SERIOUS fan!!

ParticipantI would like to be the keeper of Rumple and Belle’s chipped cup and Regina’s ring of keys.

ParticipantHi there! I made a new topic under the general theories, something I think I called “flashbacks like on LOST” or something like that. It’s the only one I really cared about. Thanks!

ParticipantDon’t hate me but I’m starting to wonder if we are seeing some kind of flash forward, flash back, flash sideways kind of things like they did on LOST. Something about Regina has been bothering me on the last two episodes. And last night the way she was saying that she was so familiar with the Queen of Hearts and knew the maze system so well, blah, blah, blah kind of made me feel like we were seeing a flash back – like not only had the traveled to a new land but had also traveled back into time or something. It also makes me wonder if the reason sometimes we see Rumple/EQ getting along better and then other times wanting to kill each other even though the timeline is consistant is because we are seeing more flashes going on. The same could be said for the interaction between Mr. Gold and Regina. After last night’s episode I’m totally confused and wonder whether some of what we saw might have been the EQ traveling with Jefferson outside of SB hoping to bring back her father. And when she returned and saw MM in the cell she realized that she was out of time because it meant that MM and Emma had returned and she didn’t get what she was after – a way to bring her father back to SB. I know she ripped his heart out for the curse but this is OUaT – stranger things could happen.

ParticipantThere is something there in EQ/Regina that I haven’t been able to put my finger on yet. But even though I typically want to through things at her through the screen – there are very brief moments when she shows some remorse and deep sadness over SOMETHING, and I don’t just think it is some lost love – it is clearly some kind of family situation, and after seeing how she was with Jefferson I don’t think it is just as simple as her mother.
At one point I wondered whether Mr. Gold/Rumple, in his grand scheme of things, was also planning to somehow redeem Regina/EQ in his ultimate outcome of whatever it is he is doing. I am still convinced that he wants to rid himself of his own curse and ultimately destroy all magic. But I am now starting to convince myself even more that, even though I always think Rumple is out for himself, I do think that he recognizes that when evil takes hold of someone you can’t necessarily blame that person – they always have some reason they think is justified for doing what they are doing and they never truely understand the seriousness of their actions when it comes to magic. So I think that he also want to rid EQ/Regina of her curse as well. So even though we are all confused about whether he is working with, for the EQ or alone – I think his plan is to cure her as well – whether she THINKS she wants it or not.
